I’m so sorry to hear about your unwelcome guest and hope that you and G will be back to 100% real soon. It’s so exciting seeing the progress on your designated stitch! I’ve loved that project since you first started it and now the end is in sight! Thanks for sharing your projects and haul and just the chit-chat. I do like to watch floss-tube and hang out with really nice people. Thank-you! I look forward to quilt tube as well, yay!

Oh my a friend and her sisters would pick veggies for the farm next to them, we were 11 years old and I ended up joining them. Bought my back to school clothes with that money. My family had our own garden too. Times were different for sure, but everyone was more basic less stuff.

That’s me, I don’t cross stitch but I watch and enjoy your enthusiasm and creativity (while pretending we’re girlfriends sitting together). Kate from Last Homely House - I found her when you’d mentioned her channel years ago. I’m a big fan and patron. I’m going to join the channel you mentioned because I love the quilt-tube idea. Sorry you’re in isolation but thank you for being responsible. Hope you both are 100% better soon. Hugs!

Boy you have had your share of being a sicky! So sorry! Your trees are looking great…you’re about to get there…G May have to build you a frame, giggle. The strawberry patch, I lived in Veneta growing up Junior high age, my dad pastored the church that is now “our Daily Bread Restaurant “. They built a new church later. Stained windows hard floors the food is great. I lasted in the strawberry 🍓 patch one day. Giggle, but I could really pick the green beans. The way we bought school clothes. Have fun on quilts and stitching and get well!

Glad you are doing better and hope you and G will soon be out of sheltering in. I am loving your progress on the trees. Wow! You are close to the end of the fabric! I started with Quilt Roadies quite a few years ago and then you started Stitch Roadies. Even though I hadn’t cross stitched for years I loved watching your channel. Well, guess what, I have been majorly enabled by you and have been back at cross stitching for the past year. It is good for the soul. 🥰

I hope that you and G both get better soon. I'm still finding that stitching takes all my energy some days so not making much progress ☹️. I have stitched six of 'Spirit of Christmas I and II so far although I wish I'd not used the 40ct called for fabric but a lighter piece like yours. I really enjoyed stitching them though and was so thankful I ff them the previous Christmas so greeted them with joy when I unpacked them this last Christmas 😊 Love the trees.

Oh Anna, thanks for the memories of strawberry picking at 25 cents a quart. Getting there before the sun comes up, pant legs soaked, fingers pickled, and probably eating as many as I picked with a peck of sand added, not the faint of heart. The farm was called The Blessings Farm and I was too young to know that was the owners name. I learned so much from those days, cooperation with my sibling as we shared our bike, one riding one petaling. And yes, laboring hard for those new Barbie accessories!

So sorry that you two are under the weather but really enjoyed this flosstube. Made me think of when I picked blueberries one summer - I didn’t last long! Spent many hours but earned very little so found a babysitting job instead. But it was similar…can’t believe my parents let me do it! I’ve finished my acorns gathering sampler and really love it. It grabbed me and I couldn’t put it down!

Last week you made a statement regarding the bullion stitch. You said it was easier to do with a Straw/Milliner Needle. Can you tell me what kind you have, and do they have a size, because mine have a very small eye and there is no way I can thread embroidery floss in them. Ay advise would be greatly appreciated. Sorry you both have Covid. My husband and I had it between Christmas and New Year. Boy you sure stirred my memories up. The neighbor kids would go to the corner and catch the bus and go to town to the movies..then catch the bus and come home. 😱
My husband redid his garage into my sewing studio and I had a neighbor that lived on the other side of the small lake and ask what I did in there. He said it looked like a surgical theatre with all the lights 😂 I know you have shown the quilt blocks on your design wall before and I just love them what is the name of them. I think it’s wool? Hi Anna! The tree project is stunning! I bought the chart😮🎉do you happen to remember what the count you chose and maybe the size of your fabric? I am at a loss.

Hi Anna-I love your Acorn Gathering cross stitch. Can you tell me who it is by? I searched and couldn't find it. I hope that you and your husband get well very soon and are back in the groove again!
