I so look forward to visiting with you and this time with family it’s been over a few days. I hope you enjoyed your birthday and enjoying this month. I hope to start stitching my ‘His eye is on the sparrow soon ( maybe a birthday start) reminding me of the sparrow visiting while I was in isolation in hospital last year. Blessings and happy stitching.

I always enjoy seeing your beautiful projects! Blackbird’s Lydia was a club piece with Country Sampler a year or two ago. I too have Hashimoto’s and it’s not fun. My daughter is a registered dietitian with a masters degree who works at a hospital. I would be happy to forward you a research article on Hashimoto’s and diet that she gave me. It’s good you are into gardening as plant based diets are excellent! I follow with an excellent endocrinologist. Every year or so he checks my full lipid panel. One year everything was off the charts! I didn’t understand it because I eat well and don’t eat fried food or much in the way of processed foods and expected a lecture from him. Instead he said it was time to up my medication because the thyroid controls the processing of our cholesterol, triglycerides, etc! Our body is one complex chemistry machine and everything has to be in sync!!😉

Thrilled to see your Flosstube! I too am working on Eye on the Sparrow! I'm stitching on 40 count.... definitely the largest I've ever stitched! Always looking forward to your next Flosstube!

Always love seeing your works and your progress. Keeping it real , and I thank for that! I too am a hoop slow stitcher and honestly amazed at how much I get done. I just finished sparrow and found an antique frame that fits her pretty good. I have little birds on my list for later this year. On your team with a focus on WIPS. But I will be starting a few things after mid year. Need that to look forward to :)

I always enjoy watching your progress and what you are working on. Would like to see what type of hoops you use and how you kit up your projects, maybe in a future video? Have you been working on any quilts lately? Thanks for sharing!

Love the idea of working on your older WIPS. So many designs we love and forget about. You've reminded me of Mary Briggs, in my stash and now very much heading to the "soon" pile. Thanks to your last video I pulled out Malabar Farm and stitched it. Now to finish. Thank you for all your sharing, you are an inspiration!

Thank you for the comment and I am sorry I am so late in responding to you. My next video will have some quilting in it, but the one I just posted has mostly cross stitch. I miss quilting too, but will be getting back to it in the next couple of weeks. Thank you for the comment and thank you so much for watching and taking some of your precious time during the day to tune in!

Your stitching is beautiful! You are a favorite of mine and I don’t do anything while watching you! I’m glutin free too, at first it was difficult, but it gets easier. You are a treasure, take care of yourself. 💕

LOVE when your flosstube pops up!! I bought the Saltbox Quilt Sampler chart after watching you a few years ago... still not started but so glad I waited. I'm enjoying stitching over 1 on 25 count and that wasn't the case a few years ago. I love seeing yours stitched! All of your WIPS are great! Thanks for sharing your faith 🕯️
Until next time, happy stitching 🪡❌🪡💙

I woke up this morning, poured my coffee, and how delightful to see your flosstube! It’s also faintly snowing, so what a perfect morning! I’m also off to buy some of the patterns you showed! Thanks for being such an inspiration! I loved hearing all the names of the good books you mentioned that your children are reading. Hatchet was always a favorite of mine to read with students! I always cringed when they brought in Diary of a Wimpy Kid. We can’t wait for your summer WIP Parade! Be safe driving to school!

So good to see your flosstube pop up, and get an update on your stitching. Your Saltbox Quilt Sampler is beautiful, and I need to get
it started as I have the box for it as well. I am currently working on Stacy Nash"s "As the Crow Flies" from Hobby House. Love Stacy's patterns. My garden seed order arrived today so spring is coming.

I also love snow, but not the cold.
The snow all melted last week here in WI, but last night we got 1" of snow with 2" of slush underneath.
I am trying to finish older WIPS this year.
    Great projects!

I've had Hashimito disease for over 25 yrs. I take one pill a day for it and eat and I want. My endocrinologist never said anything about diet change or any restrictions. It's not a life threatening disease.

    • @shandastitchinginidaho
      @shandastitchinginidaho  11 месяцев назад

You are right - it is not life threatening but it is controlable without medication. Gluten is at the heart of most autoimmune diseases and hashimotos is an autoimmune disease. I am feeling better with no gluten and watching a bit closer with what I eat. My General doctor didn’t mention diet either until I did my own research. Gluten free is much better for me. Happy stitching and thank you for watching😊.
