That navy ship was the one that supposedly disappeared in 1943 during "the Philadelphia experiment" urban legend. An attempt to make a ship invisible, that "actually" sent it into another dimension. If I remember correctly, versions of the legend said it reappeared and some sailors were embedded in the walls and floors, having phased through the ship part way.
17:24 I heard a theory about Sylvie's nexus moment on another channel (can't recall which). The "problem" wasn't that she was female or the TVA would have pruned her at birth. It was when she was playing with her toys and pretending that Valkyrie saves Asgard from Fenrir. Little Sylvie wasn't playing that SHE was taking over Asgard. She was playing that a hero saved Asgard. Maybe this was the start of some kind of child's hero worship which, in time, would have led to her playing at being a hero herself. That probably would have led to her trying to BE a hero as she grew up and whoever's behind the TVA doesn't want a timeline with a heroic Loki. So the minute little Sylvie started on the path to wanting to be a hero the TVA came and scooped her up.

I love the sloping lanes of the underground bowling alley that double as slides! The Lokis swap Nexus event stories: Kid Loki killed Thor, 'Gator Loki ate the wrong cat, Loki Thor dubiously triumphed and Classic Loki became a hermit who ached for companionship. CANDIDATE LOKI arrives! Loki Thor betrays Kid Loki but then Candidate Loki betrays Loki Thor but then Candidate Loki's army betrays Candidate Loki but then it's a free-for-all for the Candy Cane Throne! 'Gator makes a meal of Candidate's hand! Lol. Ravonna and Sylvie both want answers but Ravonna betrays Sylvie. Sylvie SELF-PRUNES! Sylvie touches Alioth's mind and glimpses a chateau. MOBIUS to the rescue in a pizza delivery car! B-15 is being kept on ice for Ravonna to grill! Ravonna starts digging through the Forbidden Files for answers. Everyone meets up near Alioth. Classic Loki, 'Gator Loki and Kid Loki stay behind to await Kid's Young Avengers summons. Lol. Kid Loki bequeaths his firesword to 2012. Mobius takes Sylvie's TemPad back to the TVA to wreak havoc and hugs it out with 2012. Sylvie and 2012 Loki take on Alioth but they're outmatched! CLASSIC LOKI comes through in the clutch and finds his GLORIOUS PURPOSE! A noble sacrifice! 2012 unlocks his inner enchanter! Teamwork makes the dream work and Alioth parts to reveal the mysterious chateau she glimpsed earlier. My money is still on KANG or one of his variants like IMMORTUS.

Yo! That battleship is the USS Eldridge. It’s the center of an urban legend/conspiracy theory called “The Philadelphia Experiment” Definitely worth a look since time travel is a part of that story as well.
Imon might be on to something, don't we see Loki come back with the infinity stone by himself and not changed in the movie. I always assumed that scene takes place after the show, although it could always be a dif Loki i guess
The ship that appeared was the USS Eldridge. There were conspiracy theories that it was part of the Philadelphia Experiment in 1943. Some said it was rendered invisible, others that it was teleported off the coast of Virginia and back. They even made a cheesy sci-fi movie about it in 1984 called The Philadelphia Experiment. So This is where it went. LOL

@25:25, if this is a long con by MCU Loki, I will be mad. I’ve been rooting for…Loki. If someone had said 9 years ago we would be so invested in this character, I would have laughed.
It is the craziest show on TV at the moment I don't want it to end,I bet you two would be like to be wrapped up with Tom in that blanket great reaction anyway.
Fun fact: the backstory for old Loki is the popular fan theory that arose after infinity war where people said that’s how he could’ve survived, can’t believe how they made a fan a theory his actual backstory😂
I mean it was the most obvious fan theory based on his power set. It's also why they have Thanos go out of his way to say "No resurrections this time" to let the audience know he's dead for real.
Frog Thor is in the comics AND the cartoons. I never read any of his comics but I only saw him in the cartoons. It's in some of the Avengers shows on Disney+.
@Imon_Snow, 2012 Loki isn’t who he was. This episode really shows his growth as a person when in the company of others or even when alone. Teen Loki and Classic Loki are closer to 2012 Loki, and I think I should couple Alligator Loki too. What do they all have in common? They all suffered from the consequences of their actions, thought about it and made the choice to change. All the other Lokis are still playing the game Lokis play. I think the best thing this episode did was show that the Multiverse really is numerous universes following the same scripted story. Teen Loki killed Thor on accident when they were 8 years old-this is the story Thor talked about in Ragnarok. In his reality, however, Thor died. Boastful Loki was chasing after the Infinity Stones in his reality and he was battling Captain America and Iron Man too, just like 2012 Loki. Classic Loki did everything 2019 Loki did, save for attempt to kill Thanos with his daggers. Regardless of the universes a person comes from, his/her counterpart is living the same life their too. That’s what the Sacred Timeline is, all universes following the same story in the same years, which explains why the Sacred Timeline dates only gives one date. Frog Thor or Throg was in this episode. You called him Tony Thor, so you weren’t exactly wrong😃
Frog Thor was actually referenced in Ragnarok, during the play with Matt Damon Loki and Luke Hemsworth Thor. “I’m sorry about that time I turned you into a frog.” “It was a wonderful joke.”
Frog Thor or Throg was buff. It's in the comic book. He lifted Mjolnir (Thor was away from it foe that episode) and temporarily received the power of Thor.
Another great reaction. I don't trust Renslayer at all but Sylvie did make it clear that she was gong to kill her as soon as Ravonna stopped being useful and all her information was exhausted.

Maybe in the MCU it’s not just an urban legend. Perhaps the Eldridge created a Nexus event and was pruned. In the movie about the experiment, a hole was punched through time and space.
Glad to see I wasn't the only one to notice that!
Ten thousand street cred points for casually dropping the *underrated masterpiece* that is the Langoliers. That movie *obliterated* me when I was a kid. Great reaction, as always!
That Langoliers reference though... Spot on.
I was so heartbroken how they were too excited about yhe Frog Thor at the beginning and all I got was "What is that creature?!" Hahahahahahahahahahha
OMG you are absolutely right! It's JUST like the Langoliers!
Hey, Abi and Imon!
The episode's title, "Journey Into Mystery", is the name of the anthology comic that first featured Thor's adventures before he graduated to his own title.
Easter Egg hunt in the Void!

-- giant Yellowjacket's helmet
-- Thanos 'copter
-- Mjolnir
-- Frog Thor aka Throg in a jar from the famous Walt Simonson story rooted in actual myth

Loki's been tossed into the garbage dump of the cosmos with the smoke monster from "Lost"!
14:41 In case either of you hasn't noticed, she's in captivity right now. So unless someone frees her, she can't help anyone
The moment Abi said Gainsville, FL I finally understood her hate for Florida. South Florida is the best Florida btw.
Can we praise Classic Loki because dude got Thanos tricked, created an entire Asgard illusion, went out like a G while wearing an adult diaper. He did: that!
Nah that was a manly thong. Put some respeck on his name. 😉
Yo!
That battleship is the USS Eldridge.
It’s the center of an urban legend/conspiracy theory called “The Philadelphia Experiment”
Definitely worth a look since time travel is a part of that story as well.
I know Alluoth pissed eating these empty calories
loki: " its cold"
well... that makes no sense bc frost giants dont get cold and so i think he did that so he can have an excuse to get snugly with her
Imon might be on to something, don't we see Loki come back with the infinity stone by himself and not changed in the movie. I always assumed that scene takes place after the show, although it could always be a dif Loki i guess
I think Gator Loki is probably my favorite variant. But maybe that's because I'm from Florida. 🤣
9:07 “I don’t like that it’s like they’re taking away your free will”
* insert Leonardo DiCaprio pointing meme *
Isn't loki a frost giant he wouldn't be cold I think he was using some game on he's girl self he did a magical yawn wrap arm around move
Sylvie, also a frost giant, mmhmming like she doesn’t know he’s lying 😅
@@Drummer4President Believe me when I say that she knew, she just went with the flow too 😏
Classic low-key getting the scene with his glorious purpose at the end was everything I needed
wow a Langoliers reference?! So I'm not the only one that saw it. lol
LOL
The fact loki is a frost giant he doesn't feel cold but he knew why he was doing it lol
roflmao Withnail and I AND The Langoliers? Y'all got those deep cuts. Holy cow! lol
5:00 that Langoliers shout out tho
I really wanted Mobius to ride up on a jet ski to save Sylvie.
jet ski on land,great
That zoinks was pretty spot on
They actually all are Loki and not just random henchmen, the guy with the bike handle shoots green magic in the Loki fight club scene
didn't realize that.
Just wanna say The Langoliers was traumatizing to me as a kid. So creepy, those things eating the airport right out from under everyone.
Chump chump chump. Yeah that scene with everything falling into nothingness. 🤯
I JUST LOVE YOUR YOUR REACTIONS & CHIT- CHAT INFO FOR US. HOT IMAN & ABBY, & ALL YOUR HILAROUSLY BEAUTIFUL GANG..MORE POWER 2 U BOTH!
Hey, Abi and Imon, where did you get the cute plushes that are on your shelf? *(nezuko, tanjirou and gojou) *
I saw an episode of Marvel's Avengers assemble/ Black Panther's Quest, where Thor was a frog 🐸
@25:25, if this is a long con by MCU Loki, I will be mad. I’ve been rooting for…Loki.
If someone had said 9 years ago we would be so invested in this character, I would have laughed.
I saw someone call it Croki and now that's stuck in my head.
Also as that's my default run, I can at least run up and say hi.
Lokiverse going crazy we got a taste of what's to come & I hope classic loki ain't dead if he's not he's in the helmet I said it first
It is the craziest show on TV at the moment I don't want it to end,I bet you two would be like to be wrapped up with Tom in that blanket great reaction anyway.
6:52 That was just Frog Thor in a jar... or Throg, if you will.
@Imon_Snow,
2012 Loki isn’t who he was.
Well Loki did meet Jeff Goldblum on Sakaar.
That creature is the frog Thor Throg you guys were looking for.lol
Great reaction girls!!! The truth gave me sadness for the sacrifice of the classic Loki, it had a lot of potential...😭💔💔
Frog Thor was actually referenced in Ragnarok, during the play with Matt Damon Loki and Luke Hemsworth Thor. “I’m sorry about that time I turned you into a frog.” “It was a wonderful joke.”
I love how Loki is a frost giant and he says he's cold to get close to her.
presumably, both of them are frost giants
Loki hugging Mobius saved 2021 for me. It was beautiful. Classic Loki was the mvp. Loved your reaction.
Glad I watched till the end the jokes at the end slapped lol
Multiple -Rick- Loki fighting each other and strange creatures, another remainder this was created by the amazing writers of rick and morty.
The Langoliers is one of my favorites!
22:10 same here im gonna start running in not walking
leave where tho? lol there times been wiped. they actually built a home there.
Frog Thor and Alligator Loki....An the "D" is silent in Django...LOL
Does Alioth remind anyone else of the Cave of Wonders creature after Aladdin and Abu messed up?
Am I the only one that gets lost in their faces while their talking? Yall are gorge!
Frog Thor or Throg was buff. It's in the comic book. He lifted Mjolnir (Thor was away from it foe that episode) and temporarily received the power of Thor.
So who do you choose, Abi? Tom Hiddleston or Antony Starr?
The ship is the USS Eldridge, from The Philadelphia Experiment (an urban myth).
And two movies
Spend 10 minutes talking about Frog Thor (a.k.a. Throg)...don't notice him in the episode.
Classic...
Abi wants to kill somebody in every episode of every show 😆
Frog Thor is an actual comic book thing, he's in the real comic book thing 'the Pet Avengers'
11:30, they're all Loki.
Abi just called Renslayer a house nigga 😂😂😂
💀😂😂
Another great reaction. I don't trust Renslayer at all but Sylvie did make it clear that she was gong to kill her as soon as Ravonna stopped being useful and all her information was exhausted.
