The Time-Keepers were created by "He Who Remains", the very last director of the Time Variance Authority from the last reality, just prior to the heat death of the universe. The first attempt resulted in the creation of the Time-Twisters, who were flawed and destroyed numerous realities. Due to the intervention of Thor, this reality was split into two: one where the Twisters lived and one where they were destroyed. In the reality in which they were destroyed, He Who Remains created the Time-Keepers to protect time. There were three main Time-Keepers but a fourth was reportedly created and exiled to Egypt in 2950 BC. At some point they recruited Immortus to monitor all time between 3000 BC and 4000 AD. Their first appearance is Thor #282 in 1979

23:02 @Imon_Snow, From what we've seen so far Loki is Loki, regardless of where he's plucked from time. Miss Minutes explained that the Time Keepers merged all the different timelines into one, the Sacred Timeline, remember? If that's true, Loki should be the same Loki no matter where in time he's plucked from. That said, his bio in the credits states that he's gender fluid, which will explain female Loki when she appears. Mobius (Owen Wilson's character) tells Loki, when showing him his future, that the events he was shown are his, and that the reason why he didn't remember them is because he hadn't yet lived those moments. 2012 Loki is labeled a variant because he did something out of sequence with what has already happened. 2012 Loki picked up the Tesseract, something he didn't do the first time 2012 happened. Yeah, I know this Loki hasn't done the things 2019 Loki did, but that doesn't matter as Loki is Loki, and if you recall Hulk's explanation of time travel, whatever you do in the past won't change the future. And that's where 2012 Loki's problems begin, as the present is the prime timeline. 2012 Loki, being of the past, did something his future-self didn't do, which would rewrite change the future, breaking time and that's why he was labeled a variant. By picking up the Tesseract, Loki created a Nexus event, that thing the TVA video spoke of in the cartoon and that's why he was arrested. Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw's character) ordered Loki to be reset, which, according to Miss Minutes, means being placed back in time before the Nexus event for a do over. Had that happened, Loki would have had his mind erased, making him forget his time with the TVA and that's why Mobius didn't want him reset, and he certainly didn't want him pruned from existence, which is much worse. A landscaper prunes dying/bothersome branches to keep a desired aesthetic and I'm pretty sure the TVA does the same thing, but with time. Should a Nexus event create a new branching timeline, they need to prune it out of existence to protect the proper flow of time as decreed by the Time Keepers. There motto after all is for all time, always, right? Casey's cart and the Goldman Sach's trust fund jerk in line were pruned. The Time Keepers were depicted as three massive beings--Loki called the giant space lizards. I figure this triumvirate represents all aspects of time: past, present and future. In order to watch time, they'd have to be outside of it, explaining why Mobius told Loki time works different at the TVA. As the TVA is outside of time (reality), this likely why things like magic, and the Infinity Stones do not work--cell phones outside of coverage wouldn't work either; I think the TVA is working under the same concept. Anyway, I cannot wait for Wednesday to come. I need to see where this is all headed. Well, it's likely heading to the Multiverse of Madness, Doctor Strange's movie which comes out March 25, 2022. Many of us online thought it was Wanda who causes the Multiverse to happen, but it looks like a Loki variant might actually be the culprit, but to what end? Prime timeline Loki aligned himself with Thanos for Power, wonder whom the yet to be seen Loki variant aligns him/herself with. Kang? Kang's due to show up in the Next Ant-Man movie and we all know that the MCU loves dropping Easter eggs.
When Loki went thru time he created other variants of himself. Upon finding out his death, one of the variants chose to hunt the minutemen hunting him to preserve his own life.

The 3 time keepers you thought saw. In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 when Stan Lee shows up he was with 3 beings but all the people that do the break downs said they were the Watchers.
I hereby predict this entire show will be about the destruction of the TVA, and the discovery there WAS NO Multiversal War - the Timekeepers just want to preserve the timeline they evolved into.
So what the MCU did with that Infinity Stone scene is just like in the comics, the Infinity Stones don’t work outside of their designated universe. So for instance if you take the Infinity Stones from Earth-1610 (The Ultimates Universe which the MCU is inspired by) and bring them to say Earth-616 (the main Marvel comic universe) the stones won’t work there. However the stones shown in that scene in the drawer could be from other Variants the TVA has apprehended that came into contact with the stones and took them out to reset the timeline, thus making those stones useless. Plus the TVA exists in the Null Time Zone which exists outside of space and time in its own pocket dimension. The TVA and the 3 Time Keepers were created and put in power by He Who Remains, who was a TVA Agent that survived the previous multiversal cycle
The infinity stones are still all powerful. The TVA is located outside of time and space so that’s why the stones don’t work. The stones only work inside the universe they where created in. Each universe got it’s own infinity stones. But they don’t work outside of it
Love your videos btw❤️

The crunch sound did happen, I heard it and thought to myself "he really did die" at the time of infinity wars. The sound was enhanced to give meaning that his life truly ended on the spot.
Idk why but everytime a show came out now, all I think about is how you both reacted to it... I love you 💜💜
Same
Yess!!
Anyone else in love with the music?!! The composer did his thing!
It’s weird how they blend different dimensions into being “different timelines” but i guess it works because all dimensions are being forced to follow the main timeline which will probably fall apart leading into multiverse of madness.
Hi Imon Snow! Its great to see you guys again! Loki tv series, best for the MCU! Love you guys! Keep up your awesome work! ❤👍🏻
I’m glad I found other people just as thirsty for Loki as I am loved your reactions 👏🏽👏🏽
Can I just say y'all two are the only two reactors who had the same Moment that I did when the little robot zapped all his clothes off!! That's an instant subscribe!! Lol!
The only magic that works on the TVA is the infinity thirst for Loki.
soooooo are we not gonna talk about that FIRE name edit??????
Their first appearance is Thor #282 in 1979
Who's to say that the current Time Keepers aren't actually the Time Twisters? They are clearly destroying numerous realities.
feels like a stolen concept from Rick and Morty
@@theawesomeman9821 Seeing as the TVA was created before Rick and Morty, technically Rick and Morty took it from marvel. Same as the Council of Ricks is a reference to Marvel's Council of Reeds which consists of Reed Richards from multiple timelines.
I'm not going to watch this show.. but I am going to watch y'all watch this show. 😂😂 I just miss y'all reactions ✊🏾
Lol, imagining you two having to sign that lifetime transcript really sent me.
Mephisto confirmed in a surprise easter egg:- handheld device mentioned "TIMELINE SEGMENT: 616 432" which is refer to comic book Thor Vol 1 #432 dated May 1991. Antagonist is LOKI, MEPHISTO & ENCHANTRESS!!!
13:36 he can't go back, when escaped he made a new timeline separate from the main timeline. The version of him that lived and died already existed and this Loki his new timeline was erased so like Ms. Minutes said he no longer has a place on the timeline
Did Imon mix up Elizabeth Bank's Rita Repulsa from the Power Rangers movie with Cate Blanchett's Hela from Thor Ragnarok. Because that... oddly makes sense.
It's a bit strange because she should know Blanchett, they're huge LOTR fans
It seems like she mixed her up with Thor's mum 😂😂
Not Cate Blanchett, Rene Russo who played Frigga.... I think. This is a mess lmao
She said something about Loki saving someone... so not the mom... so... Jane aka Natalie Portman?!
@@Jephre i thought she was implying Loki got sad after his mum died. Who even knows any more 😂😂 not Elizabeth Banks anyway hahaha
That first 6 minutes is ironically appropriate for a Loki reaction: Pure chaos! 😅
There isn't a "future". It's all simultaneous.
I clicked on this looking for some chaos and my GOD did they front-load this with it. 🤣🤣🤣
Here’s a drink 🥃 ladies the thirst was real 😂🤣🤣🤣 lol great reaction as always!
9:55 that’s me 😂 trust imon and abi to bring the thirst 😆
also that entire tangent about the mystery white female character 😂 i think you’re talking about cate blanchett 😂
also, since you brought up Agents of SHIELD, i am literally begging you to watch it 😅 it would make my life if you ladies react to it. reactions are nice to have but i just want you to watch it because it’s life-changing. i just started it last month and i was punching myself for putting it off for so long. when i first heard about it i was like, Agents of SHIELD? who would watch something about non-main characters in the MCU? and now i have adopted several children and coulson is now my dad 😭💕 the characters are so endearing and complex and the writing is just impeccable. i promise you won’t be disappointed. i hope i’m not being annoying, i really just wanted to share this with you 😊❤️
Loki is awesome and I love how we get even tho this is Loki early one we still see he has all these layers to him I'm excited to see Loki as a time cop lol and Agents of Shield is the goat
This reaction was glorious keke. Love it!
Me: Attends 4hour lecture
My Professor: *you are now moving at 1/16th speed but feeling all that pain in real time*
I recently started watching you guys. I love yall ❤
Only Loki can say: “I have a bomb.” And make it sound sexy! 🤤 💣
While events in Agents of shield don't directly effect the movies it is still a worthwhile show. The slowest part is the beginning that is setting up the characters but after winter soldier(you know what happens there) the show changes completely.
Also have you always had the nose ring imon. I just noticed it.
Sadly, so many people slept on this Great Show.
Disagree, the slowest part is literally everything after season 2. Just continuously downhill.
@@chand911 That's cap. Season 4 was was absolutely incredible and peak television.
@@chand911 in what way? If you are talking about connection to the movies then that is not at all the main reason to watch.
@@chand911 That's insane. The show becomes great by S1 Ep. 17 and keeps shooting up drastically in quality with every season. S4, S5, and S7 are some of the best TV content period.
28:06 A living of hunting down and killing other versions of you, what a life. He certainly can't go back, his file is ended.
28:28 And there is no other realm they took him out of, the little animation showed that all divergent timelines are dealt with.
Stones don’t work outside of their universe. They’re just cool lookin’ rocks in the TVA.
They make great paper weight
Dude I watched this with my mom because we LOVE marvel and she was literally just like both of you when Loki's clothes got destroyed and raised her hand for me to give her a high five
You two are hilarious baddies 🔥🔥🔥 love the matching nose rings
So Owen Wilson is not being sarcastic when he says “I know you’re smart” because he’s fighting Future Loki
Loki is such a beast. He and Tony are my favorite marvel tv characters.
1. Hellboy is Dark Horse Comics not Marvel
2. Time Keepers are in the comics
3. Every European church has devil on Windows or painting
4. Stones don't work on TVA pocket universe due to their timelines being reset/erased meaning stones don't work. Stones are useless in TVA since they only work in their respective universes and timelines
5. Kang the Conqueror is the one you are referring too when you were a kid he's being introduced in Antman and the Wasp Quantummania
6. Loki series is setting up Secret Wars meaning doctor strange multiverse of madness, agents of shield, marvel netlfix shows, hulus helstorm and runaways, freeform cloak and dagger, sonys spider verse (evens sonys nicholas cage ghost rider) will crossover including fox elektra daredevil x men and ff, lionsgates thomas jane punisher and ray stevenson punisher war zone, 1994 fantastic four, dolph lundgren punisher, and new lines wesley snipes Blade can all show up confirming all marvel movies and shows are multiverse canon
it’s lady loki because every variant spawns 5 others i know that and this show apparently is heavily based on agents of asgard so i can see them forming a group of loki’s or showing loki interacting with many different versions of himself from different timelines
Watch the judge!
She's Ravonna- the great love of Kang The Conquerer!
Think y’all would like Sweet Tooth
Thank you for clarifying that you have already seen WandaVision, I was scared that you would see this series without finishing WandaVision
I never thought this episode would get sad 😔
Im glad y’all kept the theme song for you’re channel
They mentioned twice the TVA's workforce were created by the Timekeepers. That was literal. They just look like regular people.
As for the fugitive Loki variant, it could be Lady Loki. Not necessarily an evil Tom Hiddleston, even if that mirror match would be amazing. lol
21:11 That stone manipulates time but the TVA exists outside of time
The show: "The Infinity stones don't work here"
"But what about the time stone?"
Abi! You might have seen the Time Keepers in a Fantastic Four cartoon. It’s rumored that Kang the Conqueror is one of the Time Keepers. He will be the villain in the upcoming Ant-Man movie. And in the comics he’s been a Fantastic Four villain. 😳
❤️ YES! I knew I had seen them somewhere! I wish I could remember the episode. It’s be nice to revisit it and remember what they did in the universe
Great show Ladies! I can't wait til next week to see ya!
23:02 @Imon_Snow,
From what we've seen so far Loki is Loki, regardless of where he's plucked from time.
The Timekeepers are setting up for Kang the Conqueror (I think).
I think Kang is a forth former exile Timekeeper.
@@Hellkite-er5pg he is also a descendant of Reed Richards.
@@ericmaddox8516, you are correct. I hope that Kang defeats the Timekeepers and that sets up Spider-Man No Way Home.
@@Hellkite-er5pg or Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.
When Loki went thru time he created other variants of himself. Upon finding out his death, one of the variants chose to hunt the minutemen hunting him to preserve his own life.
"It was in a film where it seemed like loki was dying" darling that is every single film he is in😂😂😂
neck crunch definitely was there, wouldn’t forget hearing that
It's funny how Loki always plays the "I'm a god" card lmao
Man I love the giggle fits😂😂
My first words were also time cops! Cool to see the same reaction
So is the TVA the place where Matthew MacConaray flew into in the film "Interstiller"?
Multiverse different versions of loki from different timelines. Kid loki, lady loki, super evil loki, etc...
My corny set up
Setting (Peggy slow dances with Steve in their house and the tva appear)
Tva unit: Steven Rogers!!! On behalf of the time variance authority I hereby arrest you for crimes against the secret timeline
Peggy: steve what are they talking about?!!!
Steve: don’t worry Peggy.... I can do this all day
Time cops ey...
Imagine Jean Claude van damme as one of them
Lmao. I knew that Yall were gonna love naked Loki. 😂😂😂. I really enjoyed your reaction from start to finish. Especially when Yall were trying to figure out Rene Russo who is Frieda In Thor. Yall are awesome.
Might only matter to Geography/History nerds like me, but Selina Oklahoma in 1858 was part of the Cherokee Reservation. (At lease in our time there was no Oklahoma in 1858, it was known as Indian Territory at the time). BTW I'm not saying it wouldn't be a rough place to visit.
100% agree. Loki might start a multiversal war himself which could destroy he TVA and set the events of Doc Strange 2 and Spider-man: NWH into motion.
PAPER WEIGHTS!!!! THIS WHAT IRONMAN DIED FOR?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t remember the Time Keepers in a cartoon but they first appeared in the comics in Thor
Are you guys talking about the actress who played Loki's mom? Her name is Rene Russo.
I wonder if she's related to the Russo brothers
Me, screaming like a lunatic: NATALIE PORTMAAAAAANNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, one of my filming crew got arrested by the TVA... That's... good.
Y'all nailed the Loki family history.
The TVA and the 3 Time Keepers were created and put in power by He Who Remains, who was a TVA Agent that survived the previous multiversal cycle
the time cop hit Loki with that Golden Experience
