Susan that expendables 1-4 Steelbook is definitely worth the $70 price tag. You should get it
That Expend4bles Steelbook from wal mart and Belly steel book from best buy are my favorite.

Great list. Many awesome steelbooks this year. Certainly agree with your #1. One not on your list that I got that stands out to me is Elemental. It's so bright and colorful with a nice design.
My top 10 SteelBooks are: Prey, M3GAN, Fall, Sleepy Hollow, The Twilight Saga SteelBook Set, Young Guns, The Wicker Man, The Exorcist, The Resident Evil SteelBook Set, and Evil Dead Rise.
One of the few steelbooks I bought that came out this year was The Blob from the 1980’s. Artwork is great and the 4k transfer looks great. Think one more was They Live - film looks great and the artwork is unique and colourful. Grabbed a couple others but think they were releases from another year (i.e. True Romance).
Some were too much $$ this year to justify grabbing it at all - yeah Disney I am talking to you about all those D+ shows.
Sleepy Hollow is a good choice for best as it looks great and unique while the 4K is also strong.

That Lord of War steelbook is definitely worthy of a top 10, I'd say it's worthy of being the best all year. Going to have to pick that one up while I still can. Great use of the slip and an incredible design, a real clever work of art for sure! That Namor steelbook is stunning, the best MCU steelbook ever released IMO.

My favorite steelbook will have to be the Matilda 4k Steel book that will be my only choice... I'm shocked it didn't make your top 10 steel books of 2023 list that's easily number 1 over the sleepy hollow 4k steel book I thought the cover artwork for the sleepy hollow steel book was bland with that white background and I just thought the design of that sleepy hollow steel book was terrible in my humble opinion...
Everyone has different opinions.
Right off the bat ,Oppenheimer 4K Steelbook should be number 1!!!!! without a doubt. Simply they are all 4K Steelbooks
Too bad it was so hard to get. Scalpers bought them up... Really hope we get a reissue sometime.
I don't own the Oppenheimer steelbook, so that's why it wasn't on my list.

Great choice’s definitely agree on your number one pick even though I chose to get the slipcover for that release.
But some of my top choices would include Prey, M3gan, Elemental, Fall, and Oppenheimer releases.
I am not a big steelbook collector but these are the ones I pickedup this year that I thought were great:
Warm Bodies
Laika steelbooks - Coraline, Kubo, Paranorman, Boxtrolls
Sony steelbooks with Dolby Vision - Air Force One, Mask of Zorro, Cliffhanger, The Last Dragon, Guns of Navarone, Blackhawk Down, Rudy, LoA reissue
Dragonslayer
Missed out on a few I was interested in, including Sleepy Hollow and The Wicker Man
