Queen Sue! Your review videos are my favorites. When you rewatch DRESSED TO KILL, I think you’re really going to like it. It’s one of my favorite thrillers and the second half is fantastic.
Ed Norton made Red Dragon good, but it's actually a re-make of Manhunter (1986), which is the exact same story without the cast of Silence/Hanibal. I think Manhunter edges out Dragon. Hanibal didn't seem to have much of an impact on the storyline.
Dressed to kill was so good. I watched it when it first came out on pay per view on a church trip. It scared me so bad I was afraid to go in a public bathroom. I don't remember it being dirty or having nude scenes. Of course, that was over 40 years ago. I need to re-watch it. I loved the twist at the end. Based on today's films, it is probably not frightening at all. I just have a fond memory of the movie.
There is a sort of 4 silence of the lambs Hannibal Rising (2007) Not with hopkins its ok movie you should see that the actor died young check out the movie ,watch trailer watch online buy cheap ❤
I've only seen the first three movies of "The Omen". While I was just a child, the 1970s was a fun, yet bizarre time to be around! We had devil movies (The Omen, The Exorcist, etc), we had Bigfoot movies and TV shows, and Bermuda Triangle features. All very popular. And with all the classic movies that he starred in over the decades, "The Omen" ended up becoming Gregory Peck's highest grossing feature! Someone please try to psychoanalyze the 1970s! 😁
The Dressed To Kill murder of Angie Dickinson is exactly like an Italian giallo and we get to see a lot of Nancy Allen. If you want similar movies check out Dario Argento's Deep Red, Tenebre and the upcoming Severin's Opera. You saw a lot of good ones. Good reviews and cool video Sue!👉🙂👈
I remember seeing Oscar in the theater when I was in Jr high but honestly I don’t remember a thing about it other than it had Stallone in it and Siskel and Ebert gave it two thumbs up. As a kid I obsessed over whether a film got two thumbs up or not so that always sticks in my memory about any film from the 80’s and 90’s. Lol
My grandma actually saw Oscar at the theater when it came out... She walked out 30 minutes in To this day, she still Talks about it when she gets the chance. That should Sum it up.
What Blu-ray player do you have and use? I’m especially asking because of the Kino Lorber movies that seem to have issues in a lot of the Blu-ray players. I have the Panasonic one that’s just over $500. I think it’s 820. It works pretty well but has struggled with Kino Lorber movies I would like to find a player that works with everything right don’t have to worry about it.
Hi Sue.....you need to check out another Farrah Fawcett movie called "Extremities".....Highly recommend.....it's even better than "The Burning Bed"......however....BOTH movies are Farrah's best work!!!
Sorry you didn't enjoy Oscar. It's not the greatest comedy ever but I found it very enjoyable seeing it in the theater and have re-watched it several times over the years.
Great recommendations on these movies Sue. You need to re-watch dressed to kill very good movie.
I love Oscar... now, you can question my sense of humor. Lol...

James spader was great in Wolf

That version of Deep Rising goes for pretty decent money on eBay.
Nobody talked about Deep Rising. Love it when I saw it in early 2000s
I enjoy Oscar, though it has been a while since I've seen it so i can't really say what it is that i like so much.

I have a basic blu-ray player from Walmart. Nothing fancy.
@@MoviesSue do you have any problems playing 4K movies? What 4K player do you have? What model is it and manufacture?

Oscar is a horrible movie for sure. I loved deep rising since it was released
The original Omen was the best once the sequels were made it went downhill
