I am a huge Cardinals fan I was too young to remember but according to my mom I went to my first Cardinals game in 1998 when I was 9 months old now here they are WS Champions! I have family right outside STL in IL and they are the biggest cardinals fans I know of. I live down in Memphis with the Affiliated Memphis Redbirds. I am a Cardinals fan and a Memphis Grizzlies fan for NBA. :)

when craig hit that home run in game seven my dad and i started crying, cuz we knew then that after all the heart ache that cards fans sufferd that year, and all the grit and heart the players showed, we knew then that they had won the world series..it was one of the proudest moments of my life to be a cards fan...go red birds 2013 world champs!!!

i was so down after the cards lost tonight, then i found this video and was reminded just how bad ass they are.. our starting pitcher tonight is missing two ribs, muscles in his neck, had a bouldge in his back, and a messed up rotator cough and he started game two of the nlcs, he might not have done great but that shows you the heart and desire of the cards....go red birds!!!!
As a die hard Cardinals fan, I agree with @BenKey4, I am aware nothing like this will ever happen again. I am just proud to be alive and able to witness a run like this in person live. No other team would've been able to do anything like this. Even if you aren't a Cardinals fan, but an overall baseball fan this is a World Series nobody should hate. As a big Cardinal fan, I have already accepted that I will never ever witness anything like this again, and thats fine. I could talk about the run they had for hours straight. No matter what ever happes in the sports world, I'll always be content because I got to witness all of this live.
