Can you run two of them in series to make 8 ohm and then in parallel to the third sub at 4 ohm? Or would the 4 ohm sub get more than the two together at 8 ohm?
+Kicker My wife was kind enough to get me woofers for my birthday. She got me (3) SVC Kicker C10 woofers already in an enclosure. Seeing this I will have to rewire them from how the company installed them in the enclosure, which is no problem. Learning from your other video about parallel wiring and now this kind, which is preferred? Also, does Kicker mfg an amp to handle all three of these amps and if so could you tell me which model? Also, which amp is better for this type of setup - mono or two channel? There's so many conflicting opinions, but what I'm looking for is consistency and anything that will work with your specifications to prolong the life of the equipment. Thank you for any help.
I have a power acoustic overdrive 5 channel 3500 watt amplifier, and it's 5th channel for monoblock can do no less than 2 ohms minimum. I want to wire up 3 boss audio 10 inch svc subs. Is there a way to wire up those subs to no less than 2 ohms?
Can you connect two 4 ohm svc woofers in series and one svc 4 ohm in Parralel from a same singleoutput mono amp? What would be the total impedance load?
@@KICKER-AUDIO what if the zub are izobaric.. made,, and i have a queztion. i have a cerwinvega ztroker 1vc 4ohm, and i have a cerwin vega 154 vflex 4 ohm. can i uze them in a zetup any way at the zame time. i do have 3 amplifier laying around, i uze a excursion full bridge amp now 1500w 4ohm 2500w 2ohm 3500w at 1ohm and have a mb quart raa2400 and a ample A242x laying in my garage.. could i make a infinite baffle with one and the other one in the box,the ztroker are in a box vented after zpecifacation..
That would be 1 ohm, wired in parallel. But that's only appropriate if you amp is rated to 1 ohm, and delivers the correct power (RMS not peak) at that power rating.
Assuming they are 4 ohm single voice coil subs, 3 subs wired in series will give you a 12 ohm load. Wired in parallel, it would be 1.33 ohms. if it helps, grab the free KikckerU app, It has box building info, wiring schematics, a tone generator and more. www.kicker.com/kickeru
1 ohm in parallel, if you have one of our new KX amps. If not, then you may have to change the subs or the amp. You can make four 2 ohm subs to 2 ohms, or three 4 ohm DVC subs do 2 ohms, but your combination of subs means you are either doing 12 ohms or 1 ohm.
Ok there is a way to do that. Three pairs of speakers. Each pair wired in series. So you end up with 3 16 ohm signals. Now, you parallel those three sets of wires (join all three + and all three - wires). here is a video that shows you how to wire in series and parallel. I know its a different ohm load in the video, but the point is the same. ruclips.net/video/xSW3Hc7uqhY/видео.html
Just did 3 12s 4ohm and sounds so nice, very clean bass, amp tuned up only 39%

Just hooked mine up with no problem thanks to this....
Wanna run 6 4ohm mids on one amp, what amp & what load will it be able to run at/with?
Two questions: first, are we talking 6 total (3 per side) or 6 pairs? Next, what is the RMS of the mids you are referring to?

Depends on the ohm load of the subs. What are they?
@@KICKER-AUDIO 4 ohms per sub.
What would the impedance of those be if they were 8 ohm speakers
I believe it's about 2.6 ohm or 12 ohm
What gage wire did you use?
Most of the time we use 12awg for subs and 14 for everything else.
Can you connect two 4 ohm svc woofers in series and one svc 4 ohm in Parralel from a same singleoutput mono amp? What would be the total impedance load?
Not recommended. One of the subs would be out of phase. LOTS of cancellation.

How do you wire 3 svc 4 ohm subs down to 1ohm or what is the lowest i can wire them down to?

1.33
if I connect three 4 ohm SVC subs ,what would be my final ohm impedance?
In parallel it would be about 1.3 ohms. In series it would be 16.
In parallel it would be 1 ohm.
KICKER what about 3 dvc 12 in subs
So what is the end result ohm load? 2.67?

What ohm is the amp going to put out?
12 Ohms
The amplifier will be loaded down to an impedance of 12 ohms, but it won't "put out" 12 ohms.
How can I get a final ohm of 2 or 4 with 3 svc subs with a 2 channel amp
Can you tell me what the amps and subs are? Need brands/model numbers to make sure we get you the right info.
I have 3 12s kicker svc subs 4ohms using a kicker amp 1000x1 and whats the lowest output can i go?

The amp is a kicker dx 1000.1...i followed a diagram and it made it 2.7ohm
Yes that's about right.
4ohm 2ohms and Bridge db drive 800w
how to wire up 6 8ohm speakers to 4ohms
Are they single or dual voice coil?
db drive 8" midrange speakers
OK so it sounds like they are dual voice coil. Could I get the model number of the amp?
Sorry, should have asked you for that before.

If you need a diagram, you might want to email support@kicker.com and ask for one. They can draw it out for you.
