- Relocating my battery to the trunk. I pieced my own Kit with items I found from my local parts store. Items I used:
3 way Distribution Block
2 Gauge Wires (15ft+ used for starter and battery cable)
2 Gauge Ring Terminals
150 Amp Circuit Breaker
Battery Terminals for Positive & Negative
Battery Box or Battery Holder

MHS On 2 thank you 😁😁
wait is that a relocated ABS pump??? Can you drop some info on how you did that, im assumming that is all custom as ive never seen a kit for the b5.
Lol It’s not custom. I literally rebent the OEM lines to make them fit. I did a video on It, check It out.
I am wondering how you did your wire tuck looks sharp. On point.
I basically opened up the hole that the heat hoses goes through wider so the harness can slide through that way instead of near the ECU box. You can make a new hole if you want to as well.
My negative ground wire got rusted out where it attaches to the firewall. Is it ok just to drill a hole in the firewall and bolt it down?
lcagee you can do that yes, since anywhere on the body of the car can act as a ground. Just make sure you sand It down to bare metal and you should be fine.
Whats the brand of the distribution block you used??? Struggling to find ine
Sorry I’m just now seeing this but you can use any distribution block you can find that matches the same gauge size as the wire you’re using. Go to your local Audio store or Amazon/EBay and you’ll find one.
would 0 gauge wire work? a buddy of mine had extra from doing his battery on his gto and gave me about 25 ft of it
Yes It will work but it’s super overkill
