Dude ive got to know what brand that purple paint is? What paint and method did you use? It would be perfect on my mk4 GTI. I love the build ive been watching all your videos.
It’s powercoated Jolly Rancher Purple. It changes its shade. It’s midnight/dark purple in the shade or dark and also a brightish purple in the sunlight.
Or use quality hardware. Don’t cheap out on the hardware holding your turbo to manifold. I’ve gone through countless amount of cheap hardware that backed out n left my turbo hanging off the manifold
@@quickshiftmyk1695 also another quick thing…. What if I wanna cut my whole exhaust off and make a hood exhaust dump or side fender exhaust dump with some pipe can I do it? Cuz I feel like the end of the turbo spacers and down pipes are a head ache I don’t know why 😂
Nobody in their right mind woukld big turbo a 1.8t and not forge the bottom end. Some engine codes came with forged cranks outta the factory. If you wanna stay in a big turbos power band6-7k+ get valves springs n keepers

Do you need to use high temp thread locker on those exhaust manifold studs?
The studs that holds the turbo in place on the manifold?
