God I would love to do something like that to my car, I used to have one set up real nice with a stage 2 boost and the car was destroyed… I finally found a 01 A4 1.8T and I would love to do it again but I have no way to to it anymore, she was my dream and now I have to start all over

big tip btw i see your videos look blurry even tho is 1080p and u should record everything in 1080p but render and upload in 1440p and yt will give you an encoder of vp09 which your videos wont look blurry :)

Hey man! You ever grab that clutchmax clutch? Picked up a stage 2 to throw onto my f21 build but not too sure what to expect. Heard some good things but a lot of bad as well

Will the micro squirt entirely replace the factory ecu and sti work with all the other modules in the car?
It does replace the factory ecu. Which modules are you talking about though?
@@SortaSauce Does it plug in and communicate with the tcm, ccm, gauge cluster etc to maintain factory functions
You have to wire everything if you want factory gauges or you can just plug in a Bluetooth sensor and have all of your gauges on a tablet

The stock turbo worked, but it was hilariously slow

Boost Pulse yeah man IE just released a run of the old manifold they use to sell and they were gone in less then 24hrs get some Dyno results on one and put them on audizine or the fb page I’m sure people would be interested. Even just put feeler ads out there and see what happens
@@hawaiianpunch20v They didn't make a production run, they just found some that they had left over which they then only sold on Ebay with no IE support.
Apikol still makes a intake manifold and last year I had JDL Auto Design make me a custom A4 1.8t intake manifold that was even larger then my old one from CA Jay I had been running for a very long time.
I remember when I had Full-race make my custom A4 1.8t manifold 16 years ago, still have it on my car pushing 740awhp. LOL
I'm in the process with gt2871r swapping my AEB Passat , how did you go about the pcv system and also the intake . MAF too coupler and small filter ?
So, I didn’t get that far with this build. I’m sure there’s a kit somewhere for all of it.
@@SortaSauce no there is not. I had to source out the whole intake. And run the purge valve atmospheric and the crankcase breather aswell. Custom intake with 3inch T coupler for the DV and a 3inch 90° too MAF .
@@SortaSauce going to wire in my standalone ms3 cause I'm me3 AEB ecu and tuning it for big turbo applications isn't a thing. We would have to swap everything over to me7 (unless already newer style ecu and wiring/sensors) I have it all on my TikTok but going to make a YT update video soon .
@@BucketBoyz401 I do know that maxxecu has a plug n play ecu for aeb. But yeah as far as routing stuff, custom is going to be one of the only options. So you did it perfectly from what you said in my opinion.
I need a downpipe for mk4 jetta. Big turbo setup also t3. So you going stand alone?
I use eurodyne mastero on mine. Maestro you can do so much with it and retain factory ecu
I looked into maestro but ultimately went with microsquirt

Hi I have an audi 99 model with a kkk turbo and intercooler and oil cooler and chip... what is to most one can boost a standard block motor??

Why not use oem ecu
It’s aeb, so not many options for in depth tuning

It was stock clutch in the video. I plan on getting a spec kit soon

@@Funnydog123456 I currently am running Maestro 440cc file with the stock turbo. Trying to decide on what turbo to upgrade to. Is the 3071 pretty laggy?
@@DustySteel So I get full boost just after 3k, probably at like 3100rpm but it begins building boost at 2k. (I'm just on gate pressure right now hitting 15psi) I got the smaller exhaust housing so spool is pretty quick imo. I had a gt3582 before I built the motor&head and that was a sea of lag full boost around 5.5k lol. I'd recommend the 3071 with the smaller exhaust housing, otherwise you could always go 2871 but once you go full e85 you'll probably want the added topend and flow the 3071 has to offer. I'm on stock cams for now but getting new ones soon that will make it spool even sooner then 3k. I do have to say I am biased to big top mount turbos cuz I run one in my bmw as well! I enjoy a non linear powerband where the turbo hits instead of like with smaller turbos it's pretty linear then drops off at the peak.
