I have a dream that one day, someone will find a challenge run that inexplicably makes the Moon Presence a far harder enemy than anything else in the game.
As far as this goes, I always appreciate how rigidly you stick to the rules of the run. No "ah, but I can play the game normally until I acquire the Madaras Whistle when you're intended to!", you either just accept it's impossible to play the game they way you describe, or you FIND A WAY. Mad respect.
Moon Presence is the singular enemy immune to poison, so a poison only run cannot beat her (see ymfah's BB pacifist run), hope that helps scratch the itch (figuratively, ofc) XD

My friend tried to use it on me but I used a whip so I can hit him.
I watch a lot of these challenge runs, and the creativity always blows me away, it's a lot of fun to see the strategies that develop

@@PressContinue nah the one by the ladder can follow you if you agro him too long. It's happened to me before. After the first time I would just kill him, which is probably what would normally happen in most play throughs. But since you're doing a challenge run you probably just tried to run by him, then stood too long at the window because of Patches. I had a heart attack when I saw it my first play through XD
There is blood gems for the weapons that give you up to 5 HP regen per 3 sec each. Up to 4 at a time. With small enough max HP bar you could transform this regen into unlimited bullets which would make this run much easier.
that snake eater joke was actually kind of insane. considering youre going the opposite way that is intended, heading to the forest which contains snake enemies, and using an item that summons a snake to eat enemies

For your next challenge run in this game, you could do a "Stake Driver R2 Only" run. The charged R2 of that weapon is similar in speed to the Shoryuken in DS1, but with Bloodborne's much faster combat, I bet it'd be a real challenge. I've never seen many people delve into blood gem modification, but I bet you could use those to work around a lot of its shortcomings.
Plus, imagine the steak puns. Glorious, juicy steak puns.
Well, it's gonna be a long time before returning to bloodborne I expect. So, we'll see that whenever that will be

Honestly, out of the entire game, Ludwig to me is he hardest boss. Harder than Orphan. Who isn’t easy but at least I can control/do the boss fight consistently whereas Ludwig is another story.

Absolutely. When I was first making my Beast Claws build, I figured out I needed to beat Lawerence to get the Rune and my first reaction was "oh no...I have to beat Ludwig again..."
For me he will be the hurdle that sticks with me the longest, no matter how many Soulsborne games I play. Such a satisfying but painful fight.

I had difficulty beating the main game + dlc the normal way and then there is you, beating it with the whistle and no stamina. Legend.

It seems like Valtr is almost meant to die to that fall. I aggro'd him on my second playthrough and decided I was under leveled to kill him without cheese. So I ran past him to the elevator, staying as far as possible and still chased and took the leap

This is awesome. Definitely one of the lesser-known Bloodborne tools- I've known very experienced players who never found this, and often forget it myself! The fact that it can damage you, and the delay which incurs having to time the attack carefully, make it unique. What a cracking run mate :)

I'm really glad I found your channel bro, I love it so much! I finally did a SL1 run of DS3, and I'm pretty proud of that.
Now I'm working on my own little challenge run: The Turtle Run: No rolling, running, or jumping, and I'm not allowed to level up vigor at all, plus the only armor I can wear is the cleric's set, (with no hat), for maximum turtle power. Deacons of the deep were a real challenge, having to fight those fucks without being able to run or roll was a nightmare, especially after I ran out of alluring skulls.
Yeah deacons tend to become obstacles during many challenge runs whereas they are like an afterthought in a regular playthrough
Ah a good video to watch after completing Bloodborne and it's DLC for the first time...I have no idea how in the bloody hell you where able to actually achieve this, especially on Kos and Maria.

.......the damage is arcane??? Let me get this right: Bloodtinge only gets one tool compared to Arc getting like 15, and on top of that, that tool doesn't even do blood damage? 🤣
Yeah it's really weird. One of the wiki's actually has the wrong information and says it does blood damage. But given that you can damage yourself with it, you can easily demonstrate that it does arcane damage by wearing different attires to test the difference in damage. It's definitely pure arcane damage.

Dude bt has more weapons, tools are basically replacing spells in bb so it makes sense arcane has so many. Especially before the dlc added the transformation

@@Sparkboracic No I have not. I did torch & immolation only in DS2 recently but I have never gone through DS3 with the torch. From what i've seen though it's actually a somewhat decent weapon in that game surprisingly.

Making that Buckethead guy fall down the elevator in the forest is one of my favorite parts of the bloodborne playthrough then all you got to do is walk through the door his buddy comes and you can do it again. I laughed my ass off every single time I do that and when I played Elden ring every time I saw an elevator I was looking for people to make fall down the shaft I don't know why I think that's so funny probably something I should talk to a therapist about because it makes me roll on the freaking floor every time. Used to do the same thing with Red Dead with the horse getting to the top of a mountain get off the horse work your way down to the bottom of the mountain and then whistle for the horse me and my daughters used to do that when they were little, probably why my daughter's turned out so weird
