Raj... Some corrections which I noticed as I do live in Melbourne for the past 7 years. Day care isn't as costly as you mentioned, I have paid 145$ per day for my kids when living closer to CBD whereas it's 105$ in the suburbs. That too we will have Centrelink subsidy - after subsidy it used to be 70-80$ per day. Public school expenses are way less for primary etc - maybe it might be correct for work visa, but not for permanent residents. Thought of providing corrections based on my experience 🙂

My financial background is not too strong, we started earning decently only from last year. Please help me in understanding is it worth moving to Australia, considering the fact that myself and my wife are aiming for a peaceful career but not willing to compromise much on our financial goals as well. Can a salary of this grade in India be achieved in Australia, taking into account the power of purchasing parity.
