GenRight Aluminum Tire Carrier Install for Jeep JL

This is a "how-to" install of the GenRight Aluminum Tire Carrier for a Jeep JL. The swing out tire carrier comes in raw aluminum. You can leave it "as-is" or get it painted or powder coated to your color of choice.

being that the Tire Carrier hinges and locking bracket are Steel and the JL body and doors are Aluminum, will there be a problem with Galvanic Corrosion.
JL and JT are plagued with this issue being the factory body and doors are Aluminum and factory door hinges are Steel, causing those Bubbles under the paint in those areas.

Nice install and looks like a straightforward process.
Did you add any grease later for the squeaking?

I did not. I believe that squeak sound is normal for this carrier as it caters more towards off-roaders anyways. Just another squeak sound added to the many other sounds a Jeep makes. Haha.
