Just out of curiosity, what came first, the spoken Hebrew language or its script? If the former, how could the Hebrew people have known 'ben' meant, 'heir of the house' just from the sounds pronounced in the word?
Jeff Benner can you please do a video on the 10 commandments with your hebrew concrete concept please!!! this is very important for everyone that wants to clearly understand them from the Hebrew perspective, for example "worship" was very different then what I thought in the western idea, so what is "honor" your parents? from the hebraic perspective? is it just being respectful? you get what I mean this would mean so much, and thank you for your work and books!... also your translation of the Aaronic blessing was so special to me, and revealing I was blown away! so I thought: so what are missing from the 10 instructions? hence my request.
That is a good idea and I will do that, but I don't have the time at the moment to work on it, but I will just as soon as I can. Thank you for the suggestion.
I believe this to be true. In my studies I come to this conclusion as well. I believe all languages written and spoken spin outward in both directions (backwards/forwards) from Jerusalem and in particular from the Cross at Calvary. Time flows in all directions but It begins and ends on the cross. We have an appointment with destiny and his name is Yeshua his Father is David. They played rock n roll.
That has occurred to me as well, but it is taking a leap to say that the ancients knew this. Not impossible though as the Hebrew language sometimes allude to things that could only be know through modern technology.
The ancients didn't create the alephbet, God did, and God knew what man's *seed* looked like. I too have thought that it represented man's seed as well as all seed from the first time I saw it. This is just one of the many reasons why picto/paleo Hebrew makes sense as the original (or offshoot thereof) written language. It's fascinating to see how our modern Greek stems from ancient Hebrew. Thanks for sharing Jeff!
God seems to be fulfilling this prophecy before our very eyes! "For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent." {Zephaniah 3:9 KJV}
It's not ancient hebrew or paleo hebrew... it's simply "Phinician"... Hebrew scripters use to write in Phinician letters , and then in Syrio-aramaic alphabet...till they fabricated this modern hebrew called the square letters in late 9th century † by the hand of "Yihuda Ben Quraish" The so called square letters is nothing but a copy from here and there from Aramaic , Nabataean alphabet.

I love your stuff! This is so informative, and i think should be taught in english classes as it gives us the origin of our writing system.

Jeff A. Benner ok, thank you! I look forward to it 😊
I've pondered upon this as well. It's good that you brought it up.
I'm seeing a lot of Japanese/mandarin characters as well. Im starting to believe Hebrew is the root of all languages.
