If you didn't know, Grandpa Simpson is a hidden character and you get to him by scrolling the trackball up and down quickly. You know you got it when you can go off from Homer or Apu and it shows Abe being selectable.
I recall coming across this game at a Tully's Restaurant in 2001. When I first played the game, I used the normal controls like what you used in the video and I kept goofing up. Whenever I played the game a few other times, I would have it on easy controls so it was easier for me to throw the ball.
all the little idle animations, too funny! cool to see a full round of gameplay on this one.... definitely on the lookout if I ever happen across a machine in the wild, actually seems kinda fun!
I know that the MAME emulation is not 100 percent because it is missing some voice lines. Also Arcade1Up released the Simpsons arcade with Simpsons Bowling on it

Fun fact: there’s an easy way to get a perfect 300! Curve the ball all the way right, without positioning yourself, and a the right timing, press select and roll the trackball at the perfect strength. Too soft and you’ll leave the majority of the pins up. Too hard and you’ll leave a split!
Ah yes The Simpsons classic show i grew up watching on Tv. This looks like a fantastic game. Have you played The Simpsons arcade game the beat em up? I havent played it but will play it in MAME sone time since its no longer available for download on PS3 and XB360.
So dumb question, I'm new to all this. I have an mvs with an arcade PSU. I want to be able to play cps2, Sega and other boards. Is there an easy way to switch the jamma to another board, like does anyone make a switcher? Or do I need to reconfigure the wiring every time? Will sega boards (svt I believe) and cps2 work with my setup power /control / vid signal wise? Thanks.

It would had been nice to have a PS1 backport; the game is basically running on modified PS1 hardware.

How are you releasing the ball? I tried it on an emulator and no matter what button I press, they always let go of the ball as if it failed.
