So... I have a nifty trick about the index and numbering pages, but idk if people will like it: I number all my pages in advance, then if I take out a page - so what? I can just write something like: [future log: 31-34] instead of 31-32 or something, same goes for the pages I start at the back of the journal. Basically, as long as the numbers are correct, I don't care if it jumps from page 2 to page 10 because I took pages out (happened to me before, lol). Hope this helps ✨

Speaking of themes…I was thinking about doing a journal with themes from shows when I was a kid or shows my now 21 year old watched. Like Sesame Street, Rolie Polie Olive, Franklin, Sponge Bob, Angelina Ballerina…I could name so many that would be cute and fun to do.

I was thinking of doing a Disney Fairies themed BuJo ... Like 1 fairy per month (1 month it's TinkerBell, then Fairy Mary, then Vidia, etc) but then I decided against it because I'm not that artistic lol

I want to start a long-term collections journal! I love tracking things, keeping track of things, etc...and my memory is useless, so it would be perfect I think. It seems like a fantastic companion for commonplaces, too. 💜

I started my July setup, liked one aspect but not others and then made a huge mistake with my calendar...now to decide whether to fix or just start from scratch and make some changes. Sigh.
I have a yearly collections journal with some swatches in the back. I am considering a reference journal, rather than calling it a long term collections. I would put things like commonly used layouts, colour theme ideas and themes along with swatches and master lists.

11:26 One of the things I say (especially when I screw up) is 'I'm not always perfect, but I am always brilliant!'
29:40 I need to do a Doctor Who version of this, but flushed out with more detail (old Who & Nu Who). I finally have all the right coloured pens and the A&O blue notepad paper.
1:45:47 S'mores; Countdown has recipes and related items. My brother lives on the north Island of NZ and he loves their smores ice cream (for the Aussies, Countdown is actually Woolies).
1:48:10 I'm a keen Simmer; TS4 all pack are over $1000, but if one can get their hands on 2 & 3, with a little tweaking are brilliant. That's another bujo in itself (b6 challenges).

As someone who is suffering from CPTSD and is really sensitive to violence and the fear-inducing music they use in horror movies, I just absolutely hate them. I was forced in High School to watch one of the Saw movies and another horror movie (forgot the title) and they still give me nightmares at times! Lately it's gotten so bad, I can barely watch action scenes in like Marvel movies anymore. Reading them is no problem, for example I love the Stephen King novels and I'm also not sensitive to blood and trauma injuries and so on, as I absolutely love trashy hospital shows. But there's something about seeing violence inflicted on someone that just terrifies me to the point of triggering dissociation and stuff, that I will never ever watch a horror movie again

As someone who suffers from the same condition, I can empathise. I can't handle really violent movies but I can with the Marvel movies but others not. I can't handle certain violent games such as Dead by Daylight but others I can handle. Trauma can impact your life and stop you at times. But step by step we can work through some of the trauma we go through. I am still thinking of what collections I am going to organise.
I have also already bought my 2024 planner. I turn my daily section into different topics instead of writing memories. So one area somewhere I will be including is when I have nightmares, flashbacks as well as stress or anxiety. I also have chronic pain so that will be in my planner

Do you like movies that are a bit older going back to the 80’s, 90’s? I highly recommend Serendipity, Grosse Point Bland, Say Anything, Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, Goonies just to name a few. Oh so many blasts from the past I could go on. :)

I have a long-term collection journal. But I neglected it.
I'm reusing it as a space where I collect my book summaries. Books like atomic habits or the bullet journal method. I don't have to think in which book is that summary this way

Riverdale thankfully is ending at season 7. I stopped at the end of season 3 with the griffons and gargoyles crap. And I just couldn’t take it seriously after the cult leader tried to escape via rocket ship. Now I watch video essays about how ridiculous it is instead of wasting my time watching the entire seasons
Also, I watched all of the 100 and I liked it but my fiancé poked through all the plot holes. I am more easily entertained though so I was into it

@@JashiiCorrin ikr! Season 1 was amazing (especially compared to the rest of it). It did great at what it aimed for: a whodunnit murder mystery. The other seasons became way too far-fetched. I lose it every time I remember they satirized/parodied drugs with one they called jingle-jangle. And that there was such thing as “serial killer genes” because Betty inherited them from her father. That show was a wild ride that no one could’ve expected or been ready for
