Yes, the correct cable came with my parts. I don't remember for sure if it came with the air unit or the FC. Thought I kind of think there was one with each.
Thanks, for really explanation, I have a question can I add a GPS to FC, if yes, which ports do you think to add, as it's my first build I am trying to do that. Thanks.
I have never used a GPS so I am not an expert. But I believe it can be wired to any free UART. In my example UART 2, 3, and 4 are all open and available for use with a GPS unit. Just connect the GPS to the FC on one of those UARTs and then configure that UART in betaflight for GPS.

Good question. I don't remember noticing that while doing the build and making this video. I think I have had that same issue pop up very rarely when I plug the battery in goofy. Like if I double tap the connector together or something and it confuses the ESC with a couple quick bursts of power. In the past year it has happened a few times and disconnecting and reconnecting the battery seems to fix it.
Looking to build a 5" quad with DJI and was looking at T-Motor F7 stack but they're out of stock. Any reason why you didn't go with the T-Motor over the Kakute?

Also dont know if it differs battery wise between your build and the rotor riot build but please keep that in mind! Really hope to hear back soon! Thanks!
I find that CNHL makes decent batteries at a reasonable price. They are not the best or the worst, but if you can get them on sale from their US warehouse ( assuming you are in the US ) they are a great value. I personally run 1500 and 1600 mah 4s batteries from CNHL. I am not an expert on props. @5zero7 RC Is it possible to change the order of the motors on betaflight? I followed the soldering instructions I found online and the order (left to right, top to bottom) is 1, 3, 2, 3. Must I break it all down and resolder? I really hope not.
Hi. I Changed FC and now no green light on Dji air unit. What I did wrong?I did update wit googles and radio, but air unit dont react to Dji assistant(fpv)
To upgrade the air unit, you have to plug the air unit into a computer with the usb cable. Are you sure the air unit is getting the proper power for it to function?
Some flight controllers are designed for the DJI Air unit and you can simply plug them directly in. For any other flight controller you have to find a good power source on the flight controller, or power the Air Unit directly from the battery power. But the air unit can only handle 4s voltage. So don't do that if you are using a 6s battery.
Then I would recommend connecting the air unit directly to battery voltage. Sometimes your flight controller will have a vcc or battery voltage pad you can use. Or you may choose to connect to the battery pads on your 4in1 esc if you have that.
How is the DJI camera view on this frame? I have the prebuilt coming from Rotor Riot while I work on repairing my other one just wondering if you have props or standoffs in the frame with the DJI camera? Thanks!

@@5zero7RC It may be possible to eliminate the props by having a frame with a 'wing span' that is wider than it is long. The DJI FPV system uses a "MSP" connection on a separate UART to talk to your flight controller and gather data that it can use for the OSD. The more recent DJI firmware updates for the system have enabled more of the data to be displayed in the DJI goggles. So assuming you have the MSP connection between your vista and the flight controller working, you can display lots more information now. You have to enable the feature in your goggles and configure the OSD in betaflight, but once you do that, it should show up.
