    I love your channel and thank you for all the work you do to test. I rarely use anything other than vinegar and dish soap and Eco soap sheets for the wash and have never had any problems with that and your station confirms that. My concern over all these over the counter products is that humans have 38 Trillion bacteria that call our bodies home already…. we can’t survive without them … However, it’s viruses that scare me….

      Yeah so my channel tests product claims in real world applications. I can test for bacteria so that is what I do. Sorry I cannot test for viruses. Thanks for watching!

    Your videos are always educational and a pleasure to watch, but I need to compliment you on your choice of background music. At 21:53, I had to pause the video because I was convinced I had music playing on another tab😄

    I don't think I've ever heard of Lucas products. I am in Tennessee and maybe it's a different market. I do have a question (probably silly question), but if you clean say the toilet with a clean toilet brush using a good disinfectant product and then rinse out the product from the brush, does the toilet brush itself have bacteria on it from the toilet still or do you have to clean the toilet brush again? I've always wondered that and same goes with cloths.

    • @FieldOfFocus
      @FieldOfFocus  3 месяца назад +5

      I believe Lucas products are mostly marketed to spas, salons, barbershops etc. So that is probably why you haven't heard of them! So for the toilet brush, before I purchased bulk toilet brushes (to have a new one for each test for this channel), I would have them soak in bleach. I have a video about it, I will post it below. The brush will have some bacteria on it from cleaning. But for me, before testing products and when I am not doing a video, I am not concerned about it.

    Have you ever tested the Respify sanitizer used to sanitize CPAP machines in between a regular cleaning/washing? If you could, that would be awesome. If I lived near you, I'd let you borrow mine. Sorry. Maybe you know someone with one? We are at the mercy of these companies' claims. Respify says, "3rd Party Lab Validated - on staph aureus, staph epidermis and escherichia coli to eliminate up to 99.99%" on their website. Can you help us to see the actual results? I need visuals. I use it, but all I know is it leaves a horrible ozone type odor. Some folks say it smells fresh, but I think the smell is not pleasant. Thanks for all your reviews. Love them.

    • @FieldOfFocus
      @FieldOfFocus  4 дня назад +1

      I have not tested Respify and I do not have a CPAP machine, so cannot test that right now, but I will add it to my viewer suggestion list and ask around and see if any local friends use them. Thanks!

    So I have been using a cleaner of my own concoction for years. It consists of 16 oz sterilized water, 1/2 cup orange oil and 2 Tbs. of 70 % rubbing alcohol. What do you think? I use it mostly on my kitchen counters and stinking pet places. I also use it on my toilet seat and the outside of the bowl etc. It smells great! And is a good degreaser. It also kills termites and ants.
    Have you tested anything like this?
    Thanks. Enjoying your channel 👍👍

    • @FieldOfFocus
      @FieldOfFocus  2 месяца назад +1

      I haven't tested anything like that yet. May I ask where you get that much orange oil? I have only seen small 15 ml bottles of orange essential oils. Thanks for sharing!

    • @pinnaclepottery635
      @pinnaclepottery635 2 месяца назад +2

      I order orange oil by the quart on Amazon. “”’Natures Orange’ is one brand. It’s about $30. So it’s not an essential oil. But is food grade. Used as a degreaser or for insect spray but it’s perfectly safe.

      For this video, the company mailed me the products for free to test. There was no monetary compensation. They did not see the video before I released it. They did not have an editorial control.
      I do earn money from google for my entire channel. Not much. But just about enough to cover costs of Petri dishes, swabs, supplies. Hoping this increases a bit more soon.
