    Having ordered a 58kwh premium in mystic olive and doing mainly city driving I feel your review has reassured me that I have made the right decision.

    Vehicles in general are getting so good. I wish I was younger because I would love to see what's coming over the next 30 years.
    Great review Nobby, always appreciate your honesty on specs your consider the best value for you.

    Love the style of this car. Retro, boxy styling. Much nicer than what a lot of crossovers are doing. Props to Hyundai for doing something different.

    there is a shortcut button on the dash for seat warming it,s called (warmer) Tom

  • @andrewl9020
    @andrewl9020 2 года назад +2

    To get get the voice activation to work with the heated seats you have to say 'turn on seat warmers', its probably something to do with the Korean/English translation. Also if you press the 'warmer' button it takes you to the seat menu.

    Upgrading from Leaf 40 in Jan so 58KWH is loads of capacity for me. Opted for 58KWH Premium instead of 73KWH executive plus.

    The best color for SEL and limited trim due to it match the fender claddings for a silver. The SE will match BLACK

    Great review as always but defo Premium Spec and not exec plus. You can tell by the silver side trim and wheel arches as these are black on exec and exec plus spec. Also Premium has full leather and exec plus has material with leather trim.

    Lovely car and review. I test drove one. A couple of months ago in UK and was very impressed. However for me the boot was too shallow and too steeply raked (and no wiper didn’t help). I pretty much loved everything else on the car though. I’ve ordered an Audi Q4 instead as for me it’s the same price as a company car - I thought the Audi was almost as good as the Ionic 5 and more practical as a family SUV. Having to wait until March/April for delivery though!

    Another great honest review. Personally I don’t like the shape and design of this car. The creases look like your favourite yob has keyed it and for me it looks dated compared to Kia’s car. The space inside is superb and from what I could hear it is completely silent. The fast charging sounds like a complete nightmare and this is what is putting me off changing over from Lexus hybrid to complete electric. I believe Governments need to step in and put real money into charging points if we all are to move over to electric cars. Thanks again for this review and your real honesty

      I agree with you on the charging stations.
      This is why I think Tesla is the only reasonable option. Their supercharger network is superb and I don't see any other ev maker building up dc charging stations like Tesla does.

    Thanks for this review! They just announced pricing here in the US so everyone is excited. They keep calling it an SUV, I cant help but see how low it is to the ground. Perhaps an illusion... do you feel like it was equivalent to the ID4/Q4 in terms of ride height? And speaking of Q4, the prices here in the US are about the same. Thoughts on the target market for each? Which had the better interior?

    • @NobbyOnCars
      @NobbyOnCars  2 года назад +1

      ID4 maybe feels a little higher. Audi has one of the nicest interiors in the segment for sure.

    I’ve seen a few around my area now and I’m finding the looks to be very marmite - looks great in light colours, but I passed one this afternoon in plain black, and as the grey plastic exterior bits are still grey, it all looked a bit cheap (imho)

    Hi Nobby love the reviews.
    Stuck between choice of Audi Q4 Etron sport vs IOniq5 premium plus
    Difficult to Decide.. what do you recommend.? Resale in the future?
    thanks
    david

    • @NobbyOnCars
      @NobbyOnCars  2 года назад

      Resale is not so much of an issue on either I believe as it will be a supply and demand situation for many years when it comes to used EVs. The standard spec on the Hyundai will be better as Audi want you to build up your own car effectively.

    Excellent review. We've had one for about a month now. Haven't found anything I don't like about it yet. It's a Premium (mid spec), with the 73kw battery. No range anxiety in the 1500 UK miles we've done and people stop and ask you about it wherever you go!

    Nice review mate 😊 Personally, I won't go electric untill 4 things happen. 1)charging stations become as numerous as petrol stations. 2) takes no more than 10 min to charge to at least 80%.. 3) Temperature no longer affects range, and 4) capacity of the battery to hold a charge doesn't diminish with time. Untill then, hybrids are the way to go.

    Great review, thanks for reviewing a sensible buy in the EV line up, if people think 41k is sensible? Is have it over the EV 6 all day, the ass on the EV 6 hideous, personal taste. At 41k would this be a buy in 3 years @ 20k. What will residuals be like on EV's?

    • @NobbyOnCars
      @NobbyOnCars  2 года назад

      All that we can go on is current values which are a result of an under served used EV market here in Ireland.
