I wanted to get this out much sooner, but I was busy going back and reorganizing all the cutscene voice files by their internal cutscene name and simultaneously doing a New Game Plus run to test which files are unused. You won't have to wait too long for the next set of videos I got planned. I'm doing videos for the complete set of Post Battle quotes, conversations the main party & heroes have with bosses, and the complete collection of unused voice files (turns out there's way more than I originally thought, like at least 40 to 50 minutes worth). Every single English voice file is fully organized now and I'm planning on posting the entire collection to Archive when I finish the unused voice files video.
I can't get over how there is Memory Locket (allowing non-healers to revive) dialogue for every hero for every main character, yet there are like 5 post-battle conversations.
"Hear that, Noah? Lanz wants something a bit meatier!" "Heheh, I'm the girl with the gall!" "If only you didn't charge off on your own." At least you (probably) don't have the instant Lucky Seven build I have that causes Noah to ONLY say "See? This is our path to the future!" when he inevitably kills anything with the sword still out.
it's more of an implementation thing. there's a unique interaction between each pair of party members and then also every hero gets at least one so there are actually a lot. over 30 of them just by doing quick math. it's been a bit so i'm a little hazy on the exacts, but it's more than the post dialogue is based on the battle itself, i think who got the last kill. which based on your roles means that you'll hear the same quotes over and over, especially since heroes are unlikely to get the kills. i don't think the other xenoblade do it this way at all and therefore you tend to get more random chance
Minor thing with the Unity pair dialogues, it’s not based on who forges the pair, it’s based on their affinity. “Counting on you A!” is Shulk’s base affinity with A, while “We won’t need words, will we A!” is at max affinity. This goes for every combination
Oh man, Sena has some fantastic Battle Start Callouts. I feel like some of them I never heard in my playthrough, but I've gotta remember to pay more attention if/when I replay XC3
How meticulous to have rez lines for Mwamba, which can only play if you give him a Memory Locket in NG+ and then proceeed to get knocked out despite you know... NG+. Or lines for the even more niche scenario of Juniper defeating an enemy.
Wait, how is main gang reacting to shulk and rex? I don't recall them and shulk/rex being together at any point, and I don't recall them appearing anywhere else, unlike in xbc2.
after you beat future redeemed a new challenge mode battle is added to the main game, beating that battle lets you use shulk and rex as heroes in the main game.

Im now realzing that despite hundreds of hours in future redeemed, ive never heard most of the "allies defeat enemies" voice lines
