Thanks for the update. Thoughtsteal seems to get reworked too, it's an interrupt and allows you to cast the spell you interrupted. Not sure if it goes through, but would be fun to get kicked on shadow and throw a glacial spike at the enemy 🤣
I made a thread on the Wow forums about my opinion on the Shadow priest changes. My biggest gripe is that they said they wanted to move away from out instant damage 'so it is more counterable'. They nerf / remove procs. The buff Death and death procs? Why even bother in the first place...
I believe it's to make the game more fluid. We definitely have way less instant cast spells. They didn't want to completely take away procs. They said they wanted us to have less of them, and to reduce button bloat. I think the buff to deathspeaker is a good change although I prefer my mindspikes and instant mb from it
@@eddphobia It basically just makes Death speaker Surge of dark. They hit for similar damage + now bow give insanity. As for reducing Button bloat they could've EASILY just made Mind Spike a choice node with Mind Flay. And just remove Mind melt, its a pretty garbage talent and completely out of place to even make it work. I like the change, now Deathspeak + torment will synergize well together on our goes but I guess my point is, - Remove proc from Surge, Buff proc on Death. (??)
do you have a Build to share yet of the new talent tree :) ? cant wait to see all your ideas!i kinda like what they are doing with S priest. damage around aoe dots kinda feel like Aff lock kinda lol with more survibility
I have a few builds in the works. One I like the most and I think is most viable. I shall be making a video soon. And yes I like that we are feeling cleavey. Like a ua lock. I honestly just want void orgins (instant DA or VE) to be baseline into those spells. Casting our burst forms feels clunky
Hi and thanks a lot for the update it gives an amazing overview :) Do you think that it would be still possible to run « set up » comp like god comp based on high damage on short period of time or it will be a lot more effecient to run dot comp (aff lock sp..) ? Maybe the 2set combined with the 40% damage increase on void torrent (if full doted target) could be bursty enough ? :) thanks !

It has a Buff Duration and it doesn't work on alot of abilities that I've tested on so far

With the void torrent build we are about to get, yes setup and rot comps with both work imo
