  • I really want to drive this Reliant Robin, only problem is I'm 6ft 7 so it's quite the challenge!
    It's only running on 3 out of 4 cylinders, I'm still waiting for parts. I think the leads or ignition coil is to blame. Thanks to everyone who commented on the last video, I have learn't a lot!
    Also thanks to everyone who voted on the poll, it really helps direct the channel and I didn't intend for such a delay but missing parts for the Robin and my phone is in for repairs. I had to get the footage off it in order to do this video.
    Thank you very much for watching, hope you enjoyed!

    Years ago there was a couple claimed that a road was private and belonged to them. The council didn't have anything to say different so they agreed and told them that they have to pay for it to be looked after including a yearly fee for snow clearing. Suddenly the road didn't below to them anymore.

    Thanks to everyone who voted on the poll for what to see next and for all the comments on the last Robin video! When the missing parts turn up it'll go for a proper trip!

    This very well might be the most British comment section on RUclips and I love it.

    Had one of these in the distant past. Get it working on 4 cylinders again and add a Sparkrite electronic ignition conversion to the existing distributor and check the vacuum advance pipe
    - you will soon see a difference in performance. Also check the kingpin on the front wheel for excess play - not difficult to replace, just a bit of an awkward job to DIY.

      Definately not running right. Robins actually have smooth revvy sweet little engines. Their engines are massively underrated.

    You really need to check everything in this car. It's very far from perfection.

    Imagine one of these with a boxer engine.

    I wouldn't be running that on 3 cylinders and it sounds like your downpipe gasket needs doing again as its still blowing
    also someone thinks they own the road to your house?

    • @BaldTyres
      @BaldTyres  Год назад +3

      Yeah was just to see if I could drive it at all really, I think it's the manifold gasket leaking. Not the road to my house, this person has recently moved to the area. (I knew the previous owners) It's always been a public road partly leading up to one property (which is a B&B) and the spot where I turned around has a lane branching off to another property, which is private and marked as such.
