    Phonologically speaking, Spanish remains true with its Latin roots than other Romance languages.

    I don't want to sp4m but I think it fits well with this topic when I repeat myself with this one ❤
    I always wanted and really loved to learn italiano and español. The languages always gave me another positive vibe which I missed here in Germany. Later, my family did a DNA test and we found out that we have multicultural roots such as Italian and Spanish. Now I think I know why I love to learn several languages and enjoy your wonderful educational viddies, dear Andy 😘
    Moltos gratias, grazie mille, muchas gracias, and thank you 🤗 😘

      I was raised billingual german/spanish and although I didn't like the spanish classes in school I'm very grateful for being able to speak both.
      Knowung both also helps to learn and understand other germanic and romance languages like english.

      Just an FYI, espanol is Spanish, and italiano is Italian, in English. When writing or speaking English, we use the English names for these langauges.

    just an observation. The modern English word for "daughter" is virtually identical to both the both the modern Iranian word for the same thing,, AND identical the Vedic Sanskrit word for "daughter". But unlike either the Spanish or Latin words (which are clearly akin to each other).

    • @lofdan
      @lofdan Год назад +6

      Latin didn't inherit the Indo-European words for son and daughter. If it was the case, then, they would be *sunus and *fucter. And in Spanish: *sono and *fuitre.

    Wouldn’t “canino” be dog in Spanish?

    • @samueljimenez2781
      @samueljimenez2781 7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, that is a synonym. But the most correct word is 'Perro' or 'Can.
      'Canino' is most used in things that involves the dog as a individual thing.
      Here's an example:
      'Dog food' = 'Comida Canina'
      Besides, 'canino' also means one of the teeth that we have in our mouth.
      So, that's a lot of meanings.
