The Branson tractor is a beast. I watched Kap use his Bransons on Kapper Outdoors. Nice to have a cab tractor. The counter ballast is key to safe lifting of something that large. Enjoyed the video, Hank. Keep having fun.

Hey Hank! I just bought my first Branson 2515 a month or two back. Love the thing, got it with the 150 backhoe hoping to grab some side jobs here in middle TN. Borrowing a friends box blade and would like to get some jobs re-grading driveways. All I need is a 18 -20ft trailer trailer, but people want more for a rusted out 15 year old trailer than a brand new one... I catch all your videos, your the best one on here..

    3725c. With backhoe attachment.
Note, series 25 were the upgrade of the 20 series with premium add ons and a heavier, beefed up frame. Now the 20, and 25 series are merged with the upgrades incorporated.
    35 to 55 hp available I believe.
The weight of my tractor make my 37 hp tractor much more capable then rhe higher hp JD I was used to using.
I am absolutely pleased with my Branson choice. They need to work on spreading their product's information wider like others.
If they do a sales boom will follow!

So far it has been. I've been very critical of it, because I want to be very honest with my self about the tractor and so far it's has met every expectation.

Why are you running with the RPMs so high? You'll just burn that clutch in no time at all. I just can't see the point of that, specially on a geared tractor. I barely go over 1500 RPMs when I'm doing loader work and mainly use the throttle pedal.
Don't get this the wrong way. I'm not criticizing. I love my Branson tractor and I appreciate your videos about Branson. We can use more Branson videos for sure.

    • @HamiltonvilleFarm

Getting the max hydraulic flow with the higher RPM's. Plus the engine needs to be ran at higher RPM's to keep the DPF clean so regens are few and far between. Thanks for watching Pedro. I always enjoy your comments. Have a good day brother!

The factory and dealer say the harder you run these, the better.
Considering the long warranty I doubt they would say that if not true.
Since they will be on the hook for failure for a long time.
I own and run semis, and many peices of heavy equipment. Also have worked the massive equipment working in a big open pit mine. By far the hard working of diesel engines is better then babying them if you want a full life from them.
Big misconceptions on diesels compared to gas engines maybe?

Hank, I don't want to smart mouth you but I do get discouraged when you have been on something for a while and you still are mystified as which lever closes the log clamp or opens them so as to get a grip on say that log.... I am only suggesting cause I think your more of a visual kind of guy. The metal in the lift frame on that tractor is not its weak point. Fear can stop progress quick an I think if you were to watch some of the videos that Andrew Camarata has on his channel it might just get you over that hump. You do good for a city guy... not saying so much that your city but just not done much of yet. He started on his channel when he must a been seventeen or so and he is in his early thirties and very versatile yet he didn't even know how to drive a car when he started but his thing was saving some money and building his "castle 🏰 ... its all conexes and it is welded and walls with cement and now a huge metal roof and he used what he learned doing driveways to building by watching some and buying the very least amount of equipment to do things... that has changed a lot since then but knowing you as little as I do, know that you really appreciate things and are not wasteful, just not knowing all yet. His camera work has gotten pretty good and just about everything he does is a learning experience. I am very sincere when I say this, I am not out to hurt your feelings at all. I think that you want to learn as you remember stuff now when starting stuff and do way better than when it was just a crescent wrench hammer! Now if I did hurt your feelings, I am sorry. I really am as I like you and always give you a like as your trying your best. I used to watch videos that my granddaughter made of me and it helped me correct stuff I didn't know I was doing.

couple of things. 1. I like Andrew;s channel. 2. The couplers for the hydraulics for the grapple on the tractor are both female. The couplers on the grapply are both male. Sometimes I plug them in and the open function is to the left, sometimes I plug them in and the open function is to the right. So what I did to remedy this is to put a zip tie on matching hoses so that they will be the same from now on. I actually put the zip ties on after this video. Also, this third function is push a button and move the joystick to actuate the grapple. the Mahindra, which I had 300 hours on was a simple rocker switch. I have a total of 12 hours on this tractor and about 2 of those are with this new style third function switch. I'll get there. I don't take your comment as hurtful at all. But there are underlying elements that contribute to your findings. New systems will take time to learn. Have a great day Morgan. Take care buddy.
