    So glad I found you and congrats on the RON. Did you do anything with NNA before doing RON? I am brand new and ready to get started with GNW,. Will not be doing loan signings since I am a realtor and we are an attorney state. So I am intriqued with RON since CT just ok'd it in October. Thank you for your transparency and honesty. What percentage is the signing agency taking when you do online? Best

    • @ngcnotary
      @ngcnotary  4 месяца назад +2

      Thank You.... The only thing I did with the NNA was get my annual background screening completed, and take & pass my Notary Signing Agent Exam. Ok, yes I will tell anyone to look into RON because it is & can be very convenient. Being transparent is the only way that we are going to learn together and cleanup some of the errors other notaries are making. I don't really know the percentage because unlike a loan signing where I get to see the CD, I don't with RON. I only see the fee they are paying for the RON assignment.
      Question: In an Attorney state, is it hard to be a Notary Signing Agent & complete loan signings?

    • @ngcnotary
      @ngcnotary  3 месяца назад +1

      You're very welcome & thanks for watching. Regarding the forming of an LLC; I would say wait until at least 6 months into the business to see if this is something you can see yourself doing long-term, because once you create the business and pay all the money, there's no turning back. Great question regarding the payments; I will do a video to answer that question.

    Hello, I came across your video as I am looking into RON myself. I am currently a notary here in Texas. From what I gathered I can only have one digital certification with one platform. Could you suggest the best one for me to start with that would give me the most use? Thx!

    • @ngcnotary
      @ngcnotary  3 месяца назад +3

      Thank you for watching & Congratulations!!!!! Regarding your digital certificate, you can use it with numerous platforms because this is something you pay for an have access too at all times. I would say start with OneNotary or Proof(Notarize). They will provide training and give you calls. You can also start as a backup or witness and work your way up.

    • @ngcnotary
      @ngcnotary  6 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you for watching. No, you don't, but each time you join a new RON platform you do have to fill out & send in the DC-DOS-51 Form to the Florida Secretary of State. I don't know if you have to do this for other states.

    • @mindymanda9065
      @mindymanda9065 4 месяца назад +1

      @ngcnotary Yes OK and every state that I've looked into requires you to update who you perform RON services with. I was told to register for as many places as possible in the Loan signing system course.

    • @ngcnotary
      @ngcnotary  4 месяца назад +2

      @@mindymanda9065 I don't agree with whomever states to sign up with as many RON platforms as possible. I feel that 2-3 platforms are sufficient because each platform is different, & you have to remember what they do & do not allow. You also have to provide the State of Florida a new list of every RON platform you sign up with as well, which could get you red flagged if there are too many. This is just my opinion though.

    Hello, I have a question that I have not been able to get help with. Hopefully you can assist me. I am a Notary in Tennessee and I tried to get on the tn.gov site to fill out the online notary application but it is telling me that I need a Notary Technology vender name and Identity proofing technology name or that I must contract with a third-party vendor before applying. Also, I looked into the NNA classes, and I called them, and they cannot give me a clear answer on if I take the course with them will I be able to get back on the tn.gov and apply with them and use NNA and my Vendor name? Thank you.

      Thank You for watching & welcome.
      From the research I just conducted on sos.tn.gov/businesses/guides/how-to-become-an-online-notary-public, you have to complete Step 5 first. Once step 5 is completed, you then need to choose, signup & be approved for a RON Platform, (i.e. OneNotary, BlueNotary, Cyberizit, Proof (Notarize), ENotaryLog, NotaryCam, etc.) You then must provide proof that you are signed up & been approved for said platform, as listed in Step 4. This information would be provided from the platform you choose. I am not familiar with how far the NNA will take you, but I would say the safe bet is to do everything through your state & keep all records. I hope this answered your question.
