Hey friends! I’m in Valrico (just outside of Brandon). I’ve been a RON through my company for a couple of years and just started my own business to be a part-time RON. I’m excited to get started. Your video was so helpful. I was wondering if you were offering any training. I’d love to sit with you and go through a remote closing to see how it’s done.

Thank you for sharing this information ❤. Can I ask in your opinion is it better to form an LLC when just starting out? I’m confused on how to accept payments.
You're very welcome & thanks for watching. Regarding the forming of an LLC; I would say wait until at least 6 months into the business to see if this is something you can see yourself doing long-term, because once you create the business and pay all the money, there's no turning back. Great question regarding the payments; I will do a video to answer that question.
Thank you for watching. No, you don't, but each time you join a new RON platform you do have to fill out & send in the DC-DOS-51 Form to the Florida Secretary of State. I don't know if you have to do this for other states.
@ngcnotary Yes OK and every state that I've looked into requires you to update who you perform RON services with. I was told to register for as many places as possible in the Loan signing system course.
@@mindymanda9065 I don't agree with whomever states to sign up with as many RON platforms as possible. I feel that 2-3 platforms are sufficient because each platform is different, & you have to remember what they do & do not allow. You also have to provide the State of Florida a new list of every RON platform you sign up with as well, which could get you red flagged if there are too many. This is just my opinion though.
So glad I found you and congrats on the RON. Did you do anything with NNA before doing RON? I am brand new and ready to get started with GNW,. Thank You.... The only thing I did with the NNA was get my annual background screening completed, and take & pass my Notary Signing Agent Exam. Ok, yes I will tell anyone to look into RON because it is & can be very convenient. I am a Notary in Tennessee and I tried to get on the tn.gov site to fill out the online notary application but it is telling me that I need a Notary Technology vender name and Identity proofing technology name or that I must contract with a third-party vendor before applying. Also, I looked into the NNA classes, and I called them, and they cannot give me a clear answer on if I take the course with them will I be able to get back on the tn.gov and apply with them and use NNA and my Vendor name? Thank you.
Thank You for watching & welcome. From the research I just conducted on sos.tn.gov/businesses/guides/how-to-become-an-online-notary-public, you have to complete Step 5 first. Once step 5 is completed, you then need to choose, signup & be approved for a RON Platform, (i.e. OneNotary, BlueNotary, Cyberizit, Proof (Notarize), ENotaryLog, NotaryCam, etc.) You then must provide proof that you are signed up & been approved for said platform, as listed in Step 4. This information would be provided from the platform you choose. I am not familiar with how far the NNA will take you, but I would say the safe bet is to do everything through your state & keep all records. I hope this answered your question.
