I passed my exam after 3 weeks of studying/taking my ExamFM course. after the first week, I sought out videos like these and watched them every single day. Like mentioned in this video, I rode around playing this in my car.. no music, no podcast, not much tv, only this for 3 weeks. I wrote all my notes one time and told myself that I would rewrite them everyday but didn't (doing so would definitely help 100x more). instead I took a practice at least twice a day, I didn't end up passing until week 2. by the day before my exam the following week, I had achieved a practice test score of 87% and ended up passing my exam the next day with flying colors! it was honestly easier than the practice tests but I'll give it up to me putting in all the effort that I did. Using acronyms for everything also helped me. as mentioned in the video, you are given scratch paper to write what ever you want, so I chose to use it for everything lol.. I think some of these were mentioned here, if not, from other videos on YT (I'm just coming back after I passed my exam to try to help whoever takes it). although it may sound funny, to follow is the phrase full of acronyms that I used to remember a lot of different life/health info; doing it in this order was easiest for me in terms of memorization because it always read like a phone number while still making somewhat sense as a sentence.. if that makes sense B.I.G. Watch both of these videos on repeat 24hrs before your test and on the way to your test and you’ll pass. This literally summarized all of the Life insurance videos on Xcel with 40 minutes worth of content and it’s all relevant, and important. Thank you sir for these videos! Pro Tip, DO NOT OVER STUDY! You’ll wind of stressing yourself out and that honestly worse than being unprepared & don’t be afraid to fail. The less stress you are while taking the exam, the less likely you are to second guess yourself and pass on your first attempt!!!

@@jusqueencici3420 North Carolina, and I did Life, Health, and Medicare. This video is the only studying I did for life, and for health and Medicare I read all of the lessons in the courses.
I’m in Nc too. Honestly...chapter one was 31% of the Nc exam. Annuities is 9% of the exam. That’s 40% of the exam. If all u do is study Nc statues on your own that’s 25% of the exam. He also explains some of the policy provisions and options in both videos which is 20% of the exam. That’s 85% of the exam. You only need a 70% to pass. 5 questions are “field questions” so u only have 55 scored questions...u should absolutely pass with just these two videos of you really understand what he’s talking about.

I did it every day and when I got to the test, I was able to write down everything you had on that whiteboard on my scratch paper the exact way you had it I understood your concepts and even heard you speak in my head as I was being asked questions on the test. Make more videos like this please! I just started working 2 Friday's (August 21st) ago and I test this Wednesday (September 2nd).... all they have me do is write down notes on all 13 chapters and take the quizzes after each chapter, almost everyone in my class has failed this test and by failing this test we get fired and we don't get another chance to take it. They have us do it by ourselves, learn by ourselvesand take notes out of the chapter and my type of learning is not by taking notes, it'sby someone explaining to me just as you do in this video. I feel so lost because instead of worrying to study i am worried to finish all the assignments and just finished my chapters today and haven't really been able to study my notes that I did. I am so lost and with this video and your previous videos helped me so much to understand a little more, you explain really good. If you were to do more videos like this with the other chapters it'd be really helpful!! Please do! I honestly feel like I'm going to fail this test because I need more than a week to study😫 please please do!🙏🏽

@@ebonygaston1868 Yes, it did help! The Pre-Course helped alot too. I paid twice for the course only not to be able to take the Test right after. I even did a Screenshot of all of the Answers and still didn't pass. I studied my behind off. The Questions are tricky but if you Studied, you will be fine. You may have a better Memory then me as well. People tell me how Smart I am all of the time but I get brain fog from time to time and my short term memory seem to be the sharpest. Go for it! I believe that you will do great! I'm Taking it again as soon as the Pandemic is over. They are closed now in Philly!

I passed my test on Tuesday and I can honestly say I passed with the help of this video. Obviously this is just a start and there will need to be much more studying but this is a great foundation to your cake for this exam. Listen to the man and study like your life depends on it but if you understand these basic concepts you, as well as studying or taking an online course you should be fine.

Everything he's writing on the board you should be able to resite when OFF THE TOP OF YOUR HEAD by the time the test comes.. I studied like crazy just to get a B so just make sure you can look yourself in the mirror and say "I really tried did everything in my power" in regards to studying bc anything worth having you have to work for! That's just life! You'll kill it foreal
I passed my Nys exam after watching THESE videos and taking notes!!! I was having a hard time understanding and comprehending the terms. Best thing to do is write down HIS acronyms on the paper they provide you with at the testing center. Seemed as if there were more annuity questions on the exam more than anything. I really appreciate you everything you broke down about life insurance and annuities. I did it every day and when I got to the test, I was able to write down everything you had on that whiteboard on my scratch paper the exact way you had it I understood your concepts and even heard you speak in my head as I was being asked questions on the test. I just started working 2 Friday's (August 21st) ago and I test this Wednesday (September 2nd).... all they have me do is write down notes on all 13 chapters and take the quizzes after each chapter, almost everyone in my class has failed this test and by failing this test we get fired and we don't get another chance to take it. They have us do it by ourselves, learn by ourselvesand take notes out of the chapter and my type of learning is not by taking notes, it'sby someone explaining to me just as you do in this video. I feel so lost because instead of worrying to study i am worried to finish all the assignments and just finished my chapters today and haven't really been able to study my notes that I did. I am so lost and with this video and your previous videos helped me so much to understand a little more, you explain really good. If you were to do more videos like this with the other chapters it'd be really helpful!! Please do! I honestly feel like I'm going to fail this test because I need more than a week to study😫 please please do!🙏🏽

@@ebonygaston1868 Yes, it did help! The Pre-Course helped alot too. I paid twice for the course only not to be able to take the Test right after. I even did a Screenshot of all of the Answers and still didn't pass. I studied my behind off. The Questions are tricky but if you Studied, you will be fine. You may have a better Memory then me as well. People tell me how Smart I am all of the time but I get brain fog from time to time and my short term memory seem to be the sharpest.

I passed my test on Tuesday and I can honestly say I passed with the help of this video. Obviously this is just a start and there will need to be much more studying but this is a great foundation to your cake for this exam. Listen to the man and study like your life depends on it but if you understand these basic concepts you, as well as studying or taking an online course you should be fine.

@@Thatruth379 Yes ma'am! Just memorize everything he is saying in regards to THE FORMAT of it all.. Everything he's writing on the board you should be able to resite when OFF THE TOP OF YOUR HEAD by the time the test comes.. I studied like crazy just to get a B so just make sure you can look yourself in the mirror and say "I really tried did everything in my power" in regards to studying bc anything worth having you have to work for! That's just life! You'll kill it foreal

I passed my Nys exam after watching THESE videos and taking notes!!! I was having a hard time understanding and comprehending the terms. Best thing to do is write down HIS acronyms on the paper they provide you with at the testing center. Seemed as if there were more annuity questions on the exam more than anything.
