Came across you on RUclips quite by accident whilst looking at pastel painting, which has been my medium of choice until now. I was so impressed with your style and use of colour that I immediately subscribed and went and bought some watercolours.
So relaxing to watch your videos and I learn a lot. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of watercolor and your wisdom. The music is so peaceful. Have a great day! ❤❤❤
I am so ecstatic that I stumbled across your beautiful art channel. I can not wait to go and watch each and everyone of your videos. I dabble in acrylic 's and would love to try watercolor someday. Your art is just absolutely beautiful.
Couple of years from starting in watercolour and I'm still learning. I do try to control the flow of water too much and not allow it to create for itself. Still learning to layer and create dimension. Lovely start again watching your video on a sunny Monday morning in Australia.
It is like I feel I know those girls just by watching them come to life with your paintbrush 🤩 beautiful painting and video, I will Watch more ❤️ Just stumbled across your Channel.
Usually that would be due to either low quality paper ( easily fixed without spending a ton of money. Just buy individual sheets of wc paper and cut them down and paint on both sides). The transparency is also aided by how thin the layers are, but with watercolour, that’s the way it is. If you get mud try not to use paints that have white in them. Use pastel colours last and not at the beginning as they muddy things up when mixed with other colours. Fiona x
Normal pencil. Usually of the less greasy kind so H2. If you mean the portrait to the right, for richer skin tones I sometimes use a waterproof ( please make sure it’s waterproof! ) fine liner so I will still be able to see the underlying sketch as they layers build up. It was a Pigma pen in brown. It says archival ink on it and on the other side it says waterproof and fade proof lines. I hope this helps! Fiona x
I feel like I'm watching an alchemist when I watch your magical transformations!🤩
🤣 thank you 😊

Pagine splendide come sempre. La seconda tecnica mi sembra più difficile della prima, molto interessanti entrambe. Grazie per averle mostrate. 😊👍👍❤
Grazie! Anche il monocratico non scherza con i colori che “macchiano” . Questo è più forgiving!
Stunning paintings.😍😍 Thank you for sharing your techniques will definitely try them.

🎉❤🎉 beautiful
Thank you 💓
I’m fascinated by the multiple layers. My attempts often result in mud dunes, or the paper itself being unable to let under layers shine through.

What do you use to make the initial drawing ?

@ Thank you , it's the pigma pen . I like how it's defined but yet not too bold at the end .
