Worldbuilding video would be great. And I am really happy seeing you enjoy these so much. These past 2 years had a lot of great sets to be grateful for. Wish there were more of those.
Always enjoy the updates on your lore and continued expanding of your kingdom. I'd definitely enjoy seeing a video on world building. I'm thankful. Todd, I also fell back into Lego as an adult, and that fantasy Castle has had a small comeback the last couple years that allowed me to jump into that world for the first time myself. When I was a kid I collected the ninja sets that were kind of an offshoot of the castle theme, but never got into Castle itself. I also am thankful for the Lego D&D partnership. I have been a fan of Lego for almost my entire life, and a fan of dungeons and dragons for the last few years. I'm wanting to DM a game for my family and have been wanting to use Lego to do that since I already have a large amount of it and the the D&D CMF was just perfectly timed. I also have been fortunate enough to be able to build the D&D Castle earlier this year and am currently building Rivendell And both have been just phenomenal building experiences that really inspired me as to what can be done with Lego. Finally, I'm thankful for stumbling on this channel. It has just been a delight to follow along on the journey of someone else that is enjoying Lego as an adult and sharing that with the world. Seeing you create this channel and watching as you're having fun exploring this hobby has been a delight and it has been inspiring to me as someone whose family and friends don't really get why I enjoy Lego so much at my age. Thank you, and I hope you have a wonderful holiday with your family.
Hi I am at my middle age and good to see you still enjoy Lego castle theme. Although I am unable to play like what I did since my childhood, I create some stop motion animation film on RUclips few years ago and I was enjoying that kind of hobby very much. I hope I will have more time in future create and share such things.
Happy Thanksgiving, Thom! Another great video, which I’m very much thankful for. I’m definitely so thankful for all the Lego RUclipsrs, so many wonderful ideas and builds that just inspire and deepen this love of Lego. THANK YOU ALL!! There are 5 sets that I’m incredibly thankful for: Ideas Medieval Blacksmith Ideas Tree House Friends Botanical Garden Creator 3-in-1 Medieval Castle Harry Potter: Forbidden Forest: Magical Creatures These sets I’ve built, modified, and made my own creations from, all Medieval/Fantasy themed. Loving it! Can’t wait to add more to this list of favorites. Absolutely thankful for Pick a Brick! Weekly putting in orders to enhance and expand on my Fantasy Lego world. Easy order, easy shipping, it’s amazing! Thankful for these CMFs!!!! So many great new prints, accessories, they just keep getting better and better and add so much more to my world. And thank you Lego!!! Keep up the great work, Thom!
Thom, there is a great little blacksmith set from the vintage era. I parted out which was relatively easy to do. I think it was called blacksmith attack.
Getting back to Lego at the beginning of the Pandemic literally saved my sanity as I lived, and still live, alone. The other major benefit that I can think of is that building with Lego is great for developing and maintaining some fine motor skills that were lost in an unusual loss of motor skills due to nerve damage a few years before the Pandemic. I also used to watch several YT channels regularly to learn more skills. As I heal from grieving a recent loss, I hope to become more active in watching these channels again. Plus we have winter coming in central Michigan so I won’t be out and about quite so much.
These videos are just so much fun! The little bits of lore at the start of each video is really quite unique, and is just great! So much anymore there seems to be channels that will complain that we don't get enough Lego castle, but I am always just grateful for what we have gotten. I'm excited to see where your Lego castle journey takes you next, Happy Thanksgiving as well :)
I really love creating this lore and am so happy you enjoy it! I think these D&D characters combined with Pick a brick will keep me busy building castle for sometime. I also have picked up two more sets of the 3-1 castle- they are cheap comparatively and I’ll try building those alternatives, and then those parts may eventually form a good catalog for trying my hand at some castle mocs. I also have to finish building Lions Knight, then I have the D&D castle, the village and Vikings to keep me busy! I really have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to castle! Not to mention the second 3-1 pirate ship I bought for the alternative build, to compliment the amazing Eldorado Fortress. It’s just a glorious time to have discovered Lego!
Happy Thanksgiving to you sir my 14 year old nephew was here for our get together and said hey you have some new sets I'm thankful for that connection we have with lego
Another very enjoyable video. Thank you. I'm in the Eugene area and was a member of PortLUG (Portland LEGO User Group) for several years. I hope that you have had the chance to meet and join this great group of people. In a few months, Bricks Cascade, which is a Portland based LEGO convention, will host enthusiasts from around the world. One of the best conventions in the country. I hope to see you there.
I'm happy to be subscribed to your small channel for a long time and I got an idea for your moc why don't you use the Minifigure you made in Berlin and give him a fedora hat and a Spanish general torso and legs from the eldorado fortress set and a book piece and made him part of a big scene to look like he's not from that era but also old enough to blend in like a time traveler narrating what he saw in that beautiful kingdom and you can make a little Minifigure resembles your granddaughter to go with your Minifigure like grandfather telling a story to his granddaughter about that kingdom
I'm thankful for my nieces. I am so glad I was able to hand my Lego collection down to them. They have mostly wanted to build Lego City, but have recently gotten them interested in building "Disney Princess" style Lego Castle buildings. They are getting set 43211 4+ Princess Aurora's Castle ($23) for Christmas. Interested to see what other deals come up for Black Friday. Hoping sets 43240 Princess Maleficent s Dragon Form and 43206 Cindy's Castle get better sale prices. Happy Thanksgiving to you and all your viewers !
Brain worms ,that's just sick . Found a video for you .THE LEGO LOCH NESS MONSTER---loch ness 1303 .Hamster productions .I think you will get a kick out of this .take care
