I just called your store to order the 54" HD blower for my 1025R based on this video. Keep em' coming!
That is great news! I heard Adam got you taken care of! We appreciate you reaching out and trusting our team in your equipment needs! Once you get your new blower, reach out to us for any and all questions you may have as you get familiar with your purchase!
Funny, apparently this video came out the day my 2025 was delivered. I ordered this but the 54HD version. Have been waiting on the mower deck adapter bracket, it finally came in and I’ll have the snowblower next week…definitely looking forward to it!
Did you self-install? There's very limited instructions fyi.
It is your video here that made me order up a JD 2025R with the 54" HD Snowblower. Thank You for your information.
That's awesome! We hope you enjoy it!
I am glad we helped in making your buying decision. You will really like the HD blower!
Would be nice to see a scoop bucket for that hitch for those who don't want a loader but would like to haul some rock, dirt
Do you have the length from the very front of the snow blower to the back of the rear three point arms? My dealer only has the quick hitch model and I’m trying to get measurements for my trailer. Thank you
Great Video. Would this JD snow blower unit be able to be swapped out for an even more robust 3pt unit from say Pronovost or Normand? Not a fan of the worm gear transmission.
Alex can you adapt this to a 2210 quick mount hitch.
Thank you for the question. Unfortunately you can not.
@rdoequipmentco can the front end loader be used with the pto carrier bracket still installed on the tractor front frame?
That is a very good question! Unfortunately that bracket needs to be removed in order to install the loader. You also have to remove the 3 point draft arms (hydraulic lift cylinder included) and center link. The main frame of front 3pt bolted to front of tractor frame can stay on machine. The good thing is most of this is tooless.
Nice video. What are the part number(s) for the hydraulic deflector kit assuming the 1025R is already set up with the third function?
Thank you for the comment. You would use PART# 5RDF0048A hydraulic cylinder and then make your own hydraulic hoses and install cleanly.
Great Video. Do you have a link to order the front winter cover? And can I get my l business logo on it? Also do you have part # for the deflector kit? Thanks.
Thanks for your comment!
Unfortunately, the company is exclusively making these for RDO Equipment Co. and they only come with our logo on them. We are happy to sell you one If you would like. The part numbers for the deflector kit are:
BLV10843 Electric Remote Spout Control Kit
BLV10720 Remote Spout Control - Chassis Harness
@@RDOEquipmentCo Sorry it took so long for me to reply. Thank you for the part # and I would love to order a grill cover. Is there a way I can order one off your website or do I need to give you a call?
Curious if the front 3 point has down pressure like the quick hitch
Yes it does have down pressure just like the quick hitch. You can lift the front tire off the ground.
So what dose it take to attach the drive over mower deck with this new front hitch. My dealer is lost, I have the 54" HD blower and not able to hook up my mower because the front A frame hitch took the place of the front hitch for the mower.
That is a great question and a hard answer to find!
We have also run into this issue when setting up similar packages. Rest assured, you can install a mower deck with the front 3pt. kit on the front of the 1025R.
You will need part# BXX10357. This is a bracket to make a mower deck compatible with the new heavy-duty snow blower kit.
Contact your local John Deere dealer to order this part. Thank you for reaching out to us!
would this new snowblower fit 2305 tractor
Do they make these for the terrain cut ? Or at least sell the blower part ? I would need to buy a different gear box and lift arms and pto I’m aware of.
All I could find is the 47” or the 60”. I would like the size of 54”
The 47” is to small and the 60” you need to be perfect on a sidewalk to get a good scrape.
I feel like the 54” for a terrain cut would be a good option.
This blower is derived off of the Terrain Cut so the head units are similar. Unfortunately they do not make this in a 54” for the Terrain Cut. However we are also a Pronovost dealer and they do make a 52” blower for the Terrain Cut that we had a hand in developing with them.
If you would like more information on this I would suggest reaching out to Alex Mitchell at our Moorhead MN store.
i like the grill cover and was wondering if it would fit a 2012 1026, if they are close id love one regardless of the logo on it,,free advertizing.. only isue is would you ship to canada
Hello - They are going to be close. The cover may impede you opening up the hood on your 2016 model. We can ship to Canada, yes.
I have 1025r and would like to order a grill cover.
Do you have them in stock?
@@willybak1 Hello - we can certainly help!
I would suggest you contact your local RDO store to get more information on this. Our locations can be found here: www.rdoequipment.com/locations
@@RDOEquipmentCo hi, you do ship to Canada?? If so, can I contact you about an order??
like to get winter grille cover fit my 1025R what going cost going for
Hello - I'd encourage you to call your local RDO store to inquire about the cost. Our locations can be found here: www.rdoequipment.com/locations
I just received the RDO Winter Front grill cover part# 1025WINTERFRONT. Can you provide any tips on how to install the snap buttons on the grill? Do you have any tips on how to position the snaps so you can drill and rivet them? Thanks!
Hi Christopher, we suggest holding the grill cover in place at the John Deere emblem. From there you’re going to want to fold the edges back and mark the grill of your machine so they line up with the snaps on your winterfront. Install the rivet snaps as you mark them and snap in your cover as you go.
If you have any further questions, feel free to give your account manager a call. They will definitely be able to point you in the right direction!
@@RDOEquipmentCodo you have it for the 2025r?
Do you sell the 54”hd snowblower? And do you have a install & removal video of the hd snowblower on a 2025r John Deere? Do you have a parts list for a 2025r?
Thank you for the questions and I am sorry for the late reply. This is a great suggestion.
What is the part number for this blow and hitch
Hello -There is no part number for the bundle unless you order all parts individually. This can get quite costly. I would suggest ordering the blower and hitch from your local dealer to get everything in one package. Our locations can be found here: www.rdoequipment.com/locations
The order codes you will need are below for a 1025R. This would be for the 47” blower. Keep in mind there is a 54” version available if so desired.

Does anyone know what this exact unit & attachment setup costs?
Todd, There is slight variations on pricing depending on what tractor you are setting this up on and size of blower you choose. I can tell you the 1025R front 3pt 47" HD blower package with everything you need to start blowing snow is $7,335 as of this date. However this is before freight, setup and tax. You would also want to look into one of our RDO winter front covers and the deflector kit for the snowblower.
what broom options are there for this hitch?
Hi knute71! For broom options, we tend to lean more toward the John Deere heavy duty brooms. We have a great video that can help with what to look for in this particular mount: ruclips.net/video/PAV-pL3DDrA/видео.html
You can also contact an account manager at RDO and they can help get you set up. Thank you!
knute71, I just put in the comments of our broom video all the order codes and couplers you will need to make a broom work on the front 3pt hitch for either 1025R or 2025R machines.
do you have a dealership near batavia new york that sell the snow blower with a cab with heat
Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, we don't have a store there. Our store locations can be found here: www.rdoequipment.com/locations
Alex would you set up a 3046 the same way?
Yes I would. I can do the John Deere HD blower or we can do a 60" Pronovost blower that we helped design and test.
@@alexmitchell1258 I have a 2013 1025r with a r120 loader and a front quick attach 54" blower 250 hours and a cozy cab with heat. thinking about upgrading to a 3046. The snow gets really blown in here. I live just west of Aberdeen SD on Mina lake. I bought Brian Bjordal's house at Mina lake when they moved to Fargo.
@@aquaaddict10 I am familiar as I am from Aberdeen and that is the store where I got my start with RDO. If you want to put numbers together just give us a call and we can put something on paper for you to look over. 3R tractors are difficult to get. Fortunately RDO has been keeping up on orders and we do have several coming in. If we mark a unit that is on order for our dealership stock it will take priority to get to the store sooner. If this is something that you want for next winter we should start the conversation now so we have plenty of time to get all machines/attachments in and built for you before the first snow fall next winter.
how much is that set up worth ? thanks
Hi there - we would encourage you to call your local RDO store for more information on this piece of equipment. Our local stores can be found here: www.rdoequipment.com/locations
