The Crowes have sold more than 30 million albums and are listed at number 92 on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock. They were labeled by Melody Maker as "The Most Rock 'n' Roll Rock 'n' Roll Band in the World" and the readers of Rolling Stone voted them 'Best New American Band' in 1990. Thanks to the Robinson Bros. and everyone in The Black Crowes for bringing us some great rock n roll!!! You will be sorely missed!!. If you are ever looking for another lead guitarist, I'm your guy!!
Ahhhhh, the good ol' days of rock. Solid blend of psychedelic and southern rock. Also back when MTV actually played music and you had to have talent and the ability to sing to get signed.
No doubt one of the tastiest keyboard players I have ever seen. I sat with him on the lawn before a Crowes show (Further Fest) during a RatDog set in Va. Very cool humble guy!
Saw the show in Rochester, '93. I remember thinking that I should see these guys as many times as possible, it was my first legit rock and roll show. Incense at the front of the stage, festival lights stung to the back of the theater, and at some point Chris pulled a big curtain across the back of the stage with a big pot leaf on, and everyone fired up. It was loud, and he was just a bundle of energy. So glad TBC is still around, but I do miss Eddie!
This performance here, kids, is WHY Jimmy (Page) chose the “Black Crows” band & brothers to play / tour live with!🎼🔊🎶(Justin Case) you were wondering 🤔 lol. What a stellar performance, seems someone paid attention to Zeppelin huh?
Was into these guys back in high school. What always stood out to me the most was the dude with long hair ripping the keys. It was very unique for the time.
I love how the four front men look like the 60's just puked them out and the drummer looks like he came from a job interview at a law firm lol. Great band and a great song though.

The same thing happened to me when I was little! When I was just 5 years old, the first ever rock album I heard its entire way through was the Southern Harmony and Musical Companion. I became a Crowes fan because of my dad. Now he and I listen to them together every day!
When I’d fly our family into Myrtle Beach each year in our Mooney 201, this was the song I’d have blasting into our aircraft audio. Truly the last great southern rock band.
Not only analog, but recorded live in the studio
