Wonderful video, brother. The deuterocanon has definitely given me insight and understanding on the 400-year gap between the Testaments. I recommend everyone read it. You should do a video on the controversial verses of the deuterocanon and break down why they aren't actually heretical.
Blessings! Thank you so much! I have a video coming up on exactly that. I intended to record it today but someone had a wonderful series of questions that I felt compelled to answer!
Brother, you encourage me! I’m a well seasoned battle worn saint of near 60 years. Your message resounds with exciting insights. The Apophryca holds many insights we need today! And it’s exciting to discover or rediscover them. Many christians actually view them as heretical, almost cultish. But I believe, they hold revelation, and truth, and the Holy Spirit in me can help me to understand them, heed them, and joyfully wonder in them. Yeshua is coming soon Brother! I keep looking up, and long for the day. As my late father fondly used to say: “There is a Great Day Coming!” Maranatha!
Pastor G, you are the strongest advocate I've found for the Apocrypha on RUclips. My wife and I are discovering these amazing texts for the first time! It's like finding a hidden treasure. I read through Tobit and it has been such a blessing to me! I personally don't find Tobit controversial. Tobit 12:9 says "...Those that exercise alms and righteousness shall be filled with life:" Wonderful video!
Thank you so much! You have really blessed me with your kindness. I am here to serve Brother! If there is ever any way I can be of greater service to you and your wife, let me know!
Great video sir, in my opinion the books of Esdras are an important read. Many of the writings are prophetic in nature, but they also give us a look into the mind of our creator as there is a seemingly casual discourse between the phophet and an angel of the Lord. My personal favorite is when righteous men are likened to gold. Peace and blessings to you. 2 Esdras 8: 1 And he answered me, saying, The most High hath made this world for many, but the world to come for few. 2 I will tell thee a similitude, Esdras; As when thou askest the earth, it shall say unto thee, that it giveth much mould whereof earthen vessels are made, but little dust that gold cometh of: even so is the course of this present world. 3 There be many created, but few shall be saved.
I'm with you brother. I preach all of those on the streets. I understand where you're coming from. I'll run this type of information to my pastor and he said that they're all just historical but we shouldn't teach those or preach them because they will cause controversy. Nah I say preach the gospel all of it
Excellent video as usual. These videos actually made me purchase a RSV2CE bible. Now I feel like I should not have a bible without these books. Also, it would be cool if you could have the verses on the screen as you read them. Thank you
Blessings and thank you for your insight! I normally do that or switch the camera angle to the Bible. I wasn’t reading from the Bible this time so it actually didn’t even cross my mind.
Beautiful! I am glad you found such a treasure in reading the deuterocanonical books. Do you believe that the Council of Rome, the Council of Hippo, the Council of Carthage, Council of Florence, and the Council of Trent to hold authoritative ecclesiastical weight? If God has revealed these books to be used in our liturgy do you think all Christians should recognize them not just Catholics and Orthodox? Do you think the fact that Christ quoted from these books in the New Testament gives evidence for their authenticity? I am just wondering from a protestant perspective what is stopping someone from revisiting the question that these books could actually be inspired along with the other 66 books (in other words they never should have been moved or removed in the first place). Just trying to understand from your perspective because you seem very open, I mean more open than any protestant I have ever encountered! Blessings to you brother! The Lord shines through your teaching. I appreciate all your videos and glad I found your channel.
Too bad believers limit what they read based on man’s thoughts. We should read everything and test it against inspired scripture. Who knows how many books there are, let The Creator be your guide and not man! Great channel!!!

God bless you and thank you so much! The devotional is available for download directly from my website at gclmedia.org
I have an book like that (Apochrapha)
I wonder why some dismiss the apocrypha when it was in the original kings James bible. Isn’t that doing what the catholic and Sunday worshippers do.
Your messed up dude there's reasons why they are not in there just like the book of adam and eve or the book of Enoch
There’s millions of Christians that use them.
Actually 1.5 Billion Christians do vs the 888 Million that don’t. 🤷🏿♂️
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kindness!
