I got my Vanquish off the in stock page. I was watching the factory tour Phil McKnight posted and went to your site at that time. I wasn't planning on buying a guitar but I just found something I had to have. I like unique shapes and whoever spec'd that Vanquish, picked the specs I would probably have picked. Actually there are some upgraded parts I probably wouldn't have thought of. I love that guitar. I have 7 Carvins from the 90s and now 2 Kiesel guitars. Both are Vanquish models.

Ive had rosewood neck guitars for 8 years, they havent moved at all, i havent even had to adjust the truss rod, maybe once in 8 years. More stable them maple forsure, ive never heard of rosewood twisting. It has natural oils do it always stays smooth. Its a perfect wood for necks and yes its alittle heavier then maple but if you put it a lightweight guitar it aint to bad.
hi. why was the v220 shape changed to what it is today. wanted to know if the v220 that marty friedman used to play is an option to get? what are my options.thanks
I have a 1986 Carvin LB60 fretless bass. The best quality koa. Bought it in 2009. Came singing right out of the case. With a rich piece of ebony for the fingerboard.
It's a shame that most European countries impose a very high tax for importing guitars from USA, I quoted for a 2,000 dollars Kiesel guitar and tax agency in Spain wants to charge 42% over the final price!
Order the guitar, go on vacation to the US, visit Kiesel Guitars, pickup your guitar, return to Spain with it on the plane, and walk right through Spanish customs no questions asked. Just make sure you don't bring back more than one carton of cigarettes, no wild game or parts thereof, etc.
@@GiveThemHorns Sure! 😂, I can take vacations anytime and pay a 1,500 dollars plane ticket plus vacation expenses in order to save 800 euros on taxes 😂 neither of those options are valid, I wish Kiesel could have an official European distributor that can negotiate lower taxes
@@Alex_Martz Laugh all you want, but I what I said is valid IF you were already planning or someday want to visit the US. This is the thanks I get for sharing a loophole in customs that saves hundreds to thousands of dollars. 🙄
@@GiveThemHorns dude, you're so thin-skinned 😅 that is not a secret "loophole" it's basics custom regulations, I've done that many times with guitars and other electronics but for Kiesel guitars doesn't work that way because it needs to be ordered and custom made and dates of delivery are NOT guaranteed and also I'd need a person of trust who can receive the guitar in the U.S. and if I don't pickup the guitar and check it IMMEDIATELY after being delivered I CAN'T tell them later that the guitar is not as I specified etc.... it seems you don't even have a Kiesel and don't know how ordering a custom guitar works, anyway, if you are so easily offended find another thread to hijack 😆

Discussing anything on a public 'forum' offers value to more than just those that actively participate in a particular discussion; i.e. someone may not have thought of or know that they can do that. Instead of replying with, "Nah mate, I've done that with other things, but it wouldn't work for this...", you chose to be condescending in each reply. If that's the case, the US should impose high import tax on foreign gear as well.

For the wooden pickguards put a thin layer of carbon fiber on the back.
