In today's video, NitroBeam will be showing you how he makes his own roblox thumbnails for his youtube videos. He will be showing two different methods, along with some bonus tips at the end!
NOTE: This may not be the best method, but its just showcasing how NitroBeam makes it himself using his own process. You don't have to follow everything he does, but just understanding how things can work and using however much of it you like.

How do you take a screenshot on computer??
If you're using windows, I used the "Snipping tool" which is Windows Key + Shift + S. Otherwise for Macbook I think its Command + Shift + 4. If you're using another device, maybe try searching it up on google, I'm sure they'll give an answer.

For anyone using method one, I recommend using filters to change the coloring of ur picture to make ur thumbnail pop more.

@@IkonicMaruu Do you mean how I dragged the image to the top above the other one? To do this you just need to first click the layer you want to drag. And then hold click and drag it to the top. Hope that makes sense.

When I created my profile picture. I just used the same process as the cartoon method in this video. But this time I just took a screenshot of my character and trace over it.

Thanks! Yeah, you can use blender to make your thumbnails. That's actually the better way, but I'm just showing an easier method that I like to use.

The profile picture one I just learnt off another youtube video. If you just search up "how to make a Roblox profile picture" I'm sure you'll find one. But it's kind of just using the same steps I did in this video (Method 2 - Cartoon).

I use Premiere Pro but I also got an editing video tutorial that uses a free editor called Davinci Resolve. Go check it out if you want :)
Hello, so when I try uploading my thumbnail, it isnt the right size, even though i compressed it to 1920x1080 (the preferred thumbnail size) but its still not fitting in. Can you help me?
Sometimes the thumbnail file size can be too large to upload. (By this I am talking about how many MB it is, not dimensions). And so maybe try saving it as a jpeg or try getting it to 1280x720 if you can.

If you search up "How to move things smoothly in Roblox studio" that should solve your problem. It's basically just clicking on the "Model" tab at the top in Roblox studio, and changing the "Rotate" and "Move" settings to whatever you want. For me I like to make the Rotate: 1 and the Move: 0.05 - Hope this helps! :)

Is it a way to spawn characters from different Roblox’s games ?
I wouldn't say it's a 100% guarantee you can spawn any character from any game. But I usually try find it in the toolbox in Roblox Studio. Otherwise if you cant find it, I try taking a screenshot of it in the game and use that.
how do u colour it in without ruining the trace?
I just created another separate layer underneath that line trace layer and painted on that instead.

Unfortunately u can't open roblox studio on mobile it's only on pc I tried and I can't and I tried on pc and I could so yeah

I'm sure there are many ideas you could do. An example could be your character jumping from one platform to another. Or the platform is filled with lava trails or spikes depending on your obby. You can even search up other roblox obby videos and use their thumbnails as inspiration. Hope this helps and good luck with your obby game! :)

Sadly I don't think Roblox Studio is supported on mobile. However, what you could try do is go into a game and try your best to create a pose in that game. And then take a screenshot of that pose on your phone. And that can be your thumbnail.
Wondering is its photopea or photoshop:
Photopea and Photosop are two different things. They both do the same exact thing. The only difference is Photoshop cost money and Photopea is completely free to use. Hope that helps.
at 9:19 how do u do the transparent background thing
The background is transparent because I just hid the background layer. There is an eye icon button next to each layer which makes it go invisible when turning it off. Hope this helps.

Caught me at the right time LOL. I just dragged the image into photopea from the desktop. You just can't see it because the screen is zoomed in. Or maybe I just copied and pasted it in.

Are you talking about the player's name appearing above their head when you take a screenshot? To remove it you have to select the character and in the properties tab you just change the name to nothing. I think it's around 3:09 in the video.

You could always use a bacon or noob instead to make it easier. Otherwise, you might have to remove some items from your character if it is too hard to draw. Or even just try method one and not draw any lines over it.

No you don't have to, you can pick whatever you like. I just like r6 because it has less body parts and joints to move/rotate around.

You need to create a new layer above the character/image, that way when you draw you are doing it on the new layer not on the actual image.

Do you mean a psd file? Is the problem that you saved it and you want to upload it to youtube but you can't because it's the wrong format? That's because you need to save it as a jpeg or png file not a psd file. You can fix this by just dragging the file back into Photopea and then saving it as a jpeg or png. Hope this helps!
