I just graduated from college. In the last month and a half before graduation, I was struggling to complete my final paper. It was very stressful since I've always had difficulty putting my thoughts into writing, and the effects of the pandemic were happening all around. When I submitted it, it was 6:00 pm on a beautiful spring day. I walked on the local trails beside the stream. I found a place to lay on my back, watching the newly sprouting leaves wave in the breeze, and listening to this song over and over. It was the most relief I have felt in a long time.

The beauty of Africa. This music reminds me my late aunty -it reminds all the time best that I had with her, she raised me well and I thank God for that. I will always remember her and I love her so much - from Khaya in Phole Location - small village in the Eastern Cape - South Africa
There are no words how much I love this 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛 Every nuance in Seckou's playing is just breathtaking. And I love how much you can see how much he ENJOYS playing. Radiating!! You usually don't see that, not this much. Blessings for you, Seckou!
Ooh ... this is rather special ... totally at one and immersed in the music as if the kora is bursting to play and Seckou is The Invisible Man caresses the sound for us all to share its Joy
thats celestial what can I say...love, comprehension, pardon, unit brothers and sisters everything is gonna be alright forever share your best 💜♥️🙏🪐🌠🌌🎵
I was so happy to meet him and Welsh singer-songwriter Gwyneth Glyn at their wonderful little concert at Builth Wells, Wales yesterday: both are lovely people
Simply beautiful to listen to this New Year's morning 🌄 Seckou Keita. Hope that this day finds you safe and well whatever place in the 🌎 you be today, the first day of 2022. 🇨🇦 🍁
I've had been very lucky to see Seckou play at 'Into The Wild' summer festival in the UK last weekend. I have never heard such beautiful music before or seen such an amazing performance... We are truly blessed by the talent of this man.... and he is very funny and humorous as well! I would love him to be my friend :-)
Hello everyone! The song was beautiful. It sounds like a harp instrument. But what I read further in one of the comments it's called a kora. Is that different from the heart or is that the same thing just called a different name regardless, those instruments are very beautiful sounding and they are tranquil and relaxing
Beautiful. It is quite different from the lovely African music I last heard you playing years ago. I think I hear a bit of Scotland here. I could listen to this on and on. :-D
Merci beaucoup @Seckou Keita
Discovered you through Tama tama song with Omar Sosa, fell in love with your voice instantly. Any solo songs where we can hear you sing and play the 22 strings ? :)
Can you please give me guidance on what weight of fishing line I should get to replace strings. I have read that some use around 4 weights of string, and weed whacker line for the low notes.
