Creating x-number of micro-holes, just slightly larger in diameter than each thread, would mean that as tech improves and becomes smaller over time, the device core could be changed frequently and non-invasively. I don't think this technology should be exclusively wireless. There should be a wired version too. To allow for ultra high bandwidth, with very low latency. This would be good for tasks that are not mobility oriented. Like piloting drones, controlling vehicles and ships, star crafts and just about any other vehicle. Interfacing with a piece of technology directly with ultra high bandwidth and low latency would be much better for generalized applications, in my opinion. For more specialized use like prosthesis, or fine motor functions and mobility wireless would be ideal.

    • @ysonokosan
      @ysonokosan Год назад +1

      @@thomasreese2816 I'm talking about more than a hole in the skull. Think bigger, much bigger. A connection large enough to allow at least a petabyte connection speed. With enough practice, and the right technology, I'm confident the human brain could multitask complex, and large scale operations with ease. Controlling construction robots and heavy equipment, like a conductor at a symphony. Couple a high bandwidth stationary connection and interface, with a connection point on the human body like the spine or brain, for commercial and industrial purposes. Systems like that could be expanded on for many applications.
      But yeah, I suppose you could do close proximity wireless as well and possibly achieve the same thing. Though, you're always going to get interference with wireless connections. Among other issues. Wired connections for industrial, commercial and military applications is the way to go though, I think.

      @@mikes8510 Something similar, but not quite as long and invasive as the one in that movie. I'm sure a connection that is around that size but not actually inserted into the body would be better. There are plenty of connector types that don't use prongs or pins, just contacts secured by magnetic force or something else. The only permanent implant would need to be a generic receptacle on the body. Where it's placed and what form it takes is a question for doctors and engineers.

    I watched the entire 3 hour stream when this aired and Elon did not answer ALL their questions. Most of his answers were underwhelming and repetitive. The neurolink team were the ones that answers most of the questions with high specificity based on the department they work in.

      They usually are wife beaters and that is where the courts come in instead of prosecuting them which don't work anyway they need to implant them with new behaviors. Saves beaten up families from these demented deranged control freaks and themselves.

    • @leelowe8482
      @leelowe8482 Год назад

      @@lowruna they already know that they are not the problem. Neuralink possibly could be the answer. Ñ behavior is a result of low self-esteem and they have established a way to bully people into doing their commands not realizing that at something they will be thrown under the bus. Business partners are away of having control and if allowed they will have their whole life wrapped up in turmoil because the BP will keep covering for the other party and end up with debt while n will pretty much have title while BP is stuck. Sad situation but many get caught up in their traps and spend years doing for them and no actual life. Be aware of control freaks get away while you can.

    Can the implants be hacked to cause people to do things they shouldn't?

    • @TheLastShow
      @TheLastShow Год назад +1

      I guess it depends what you called hacked... But they are simple signal capture devices.. so .. what hack? it uses bluetooth..(for now)... maybe someone can hack the bluetooth and stole some signal direct from your brain.. but its not diferent from a computer knowing where you clicked or type.. .. that's my guess

    Hey, Seasons Greetings to you all. I* hope you are Well & Reasonably Happy too. How far along are we, Humanity, with respect to "Memory?" Specifically where physically, in the Human Brain, our memories are Created, Held, etc.? I ask this because I have been Diagnosed with "Frontotemporal Dementia" about 5 years ago now, so this means that I have a maximum of 5 to 7 years left. (best case scenario). I'm doing the best that I can here, but I'm trying to come up with a Solution or Work Around while using my damaged organ to attempt the thinking required to find a solution for myself and Humanity as a whole. I would welcome discussing my Volunteering as a Guinea Pig for Neuralink, Please?
    Here is one question that I'd like to pose: I am seeing a significant loss in my Short Term and Functioning Memory. Do we know yet whether our "Conscious Memory" and our "Subconscious Memory" are held within physically different parts of the Brain? If they are, is there any hope that perhaps through Hypnosis I might be trained to use the undamaged portion of my brain that is normally utilized for "Subconscious Memory" and instead use this portion of my Brain for "Conscious Memory?
    I'm sorry if this seems "Off The Wall" or anything, it made sense in my head before I put Pen to Paper. Thank You for your time and consideration. (if you comment on this comment, to me, I will be notified.
    Happy & Hopeful New Years 2022-2023 to all. Cheers...
