Sometimes a coffee goes a long way, especially here in Italy. Don't feel obliged in any way though, best of all would be to come to Tuscany and have one here with me!

HELLO RAFFI/FAMILY...AS I SAID, IN THE 'TWO MONTHS AGO' VIDEO, RATHER OVERWHELMED OF LATE...BINGING TO CATCH UP...ALL THE BEST...VANCOUVER, CANADA...🙏
Always amazed at how much you can get done with your One Man Show!! I agree you are a Rock Star!! Well Done. Hope your French Property is in loving hands.
You plastering skills are getting very impressive, just like your roofing skills. You certainly can turn your hand to.just about anything!
I am so close to your town. Watching from Australia for some time. We are walking the Via Francigena pilgrim trail. Now😊 I feel the connection to your dyi
Looks so good with the sponge trowel work.
Great work, Raff! Hope your back is alright, nothing worse than back pain.
It is!
Nice plastering and carpentery . The views you have at your place look beautiful ,you are so lucky ❤
A bit of sponge worked wonders on the plaster! The new window will be perfect; hope the installation is easy. 👍🏻🍺
Great to see you got back before the winter. You are really cracking on and getting there bit by bit. The sponging really improved the finish of the plaster - will give a lovely rustic finish when finally painted. Safe journey home.
The bucket is easy fix just drill your two holes in it and put a rope through it I have a question your dark spots that keep coming through on the wall can you get your wife to come up with a color she likes to match that dark color just an idea trying to help👍✌️ 🤙❤️🇮🇹 ❤️
Such a nice piece of wood, it could have made a nice counter top.
Great video. Safe travels
The kitchen is coming along nicely! Take care Rafe
Good to see you getting on with the house. Making progress.
You show what perseverance can accomplish. The house has been a huge job but you have accomplished so much!
The walls look great! You've got very patient neighbours. Mine are also very patient, but I once had a neighbour (I called her "old witch") in another flat who called the police because I was hoovering on Sundays (no joke!) 😂
Great work with the plastering. The wall looks awesome!!!
Well I am 'just an old lady' who has done quite a bit of fixing my houses over the years, and this plastering makes me nervous - not quite the technique I am used to seeing shall we say - but hope springs eternal, we can all get better at these jobs !
Ralf you should have plastered that Gecko/ Lizard 🦎 onto the wall as a feature or at least a warning to other Geckos 😁. Nice flattering technique Ralf and if you had asked me 5 years ago I would have told you 😂😂😂, your whole life is a learning curve I have found and your getting there , looks so much better 👌🏻, take care see ya next video.
Good evening from NZ, your progress is amazing considering you were balancing family life, work income source, the house in France now that's in good hands, and commuting between Innsbruch and Italy. I hope you're having time out. There are three of you one man renovators from the UK across Italy that I follow on youtube, skills I may need in the near future. Thank you.
Window is looking good - nice piece of wood! Just a thought, but if you routed the glazing rebate as a square, it might make the glass-cutting a bit simpler, with a greater certainty of being a good fit.
That would make sense, I'll ask the glass guy
Great work!
You’re a legend❤
You are nailing it again 🤗👍 🍻
Love Sue❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
That window is going to be incredible.
The kitchen is shaping up quite nicely! 👍
Great job!
I am really enjoying your round window project! It will be a very sweet feature!
With the heat, high ceiling height and the fact the room is used as an kitchen it would've made more sense to install a fan that extracts the air outside in the hole instead of a window. Greetings Ben
It should vent well through the ceiling
I agree with you that an exhaust fan would be nice to have up there and controlled with a temperature switch for the summer, where you set it and forget it. Of course, there is still a need to secure the opening during the fall and winter months to keep the heat indoors.
There are some ventilators that close if they are not in use/needed. Even with insulation. It's pretty common in some countries. That would be a good solution for the low temperatures.
Worth checking regulations, it's becoming a requirement for kitchen and other environments
Raff what was the commune requirements on the roof did you have to lodge a SCIA and get it signed off?
If rope is cheaper/easier to find there are several YTs that show how to use rope to create sturdy handles for carrying pots, etc.
Of course you've probably already purchased a new bucket 😉
I hope your neighbors are understanding! Good neighbors are a true blessing!
Amd, just my thought, the glass doesn't have to be round between the two oak boards, does it? It'll be beautiful however you do it.
It's always time for an afternoon beer !! Well done I am so impressed with your work
Good morning and hello . 😊
Until next time 😊
Hard work there friend looking better every time. Kudos 😊
Looking good. Better and better and getting closer! Xo
Great video 👍 Said it before hope the locals see how good you are at the rendering gonna be knocking on your door. When cutting oak best to get some decent blade's 😊
😂Roman toilet 😂😂😂, funny Ralf 👌🏻
What a brilliant result. So rewarding for you.. well done you!
Superb Ralf!
Looking forward to seeing the windows in situ. I'm finally moving to Pontremoli myself, the first half of next month. Hope to meet up for a beer if you're up for it. I'll buy you an actual beer rather than a virtual coffee 😁
You certainly have become good at laying the plaster on. But that heat looks like too much to deal with
Love watching your channel cant wait to see this installed xx
If you are placing your round window on the interior wall, I fear the void in the wall will become a favorite nesting site for birds, blocking your light… I have had this happen in extracting fan voids.
Curious why you're not installing double-pane glass? Using one piece of 4mm glass will definitely not provide much, if any, insulation against the cold. Cheers
4mm has worked really well elsewhere, but we're not there too much in winter, and double glazing looks funny on old windows.
I absolutely love watching your progress but I beg you not to torture us with that music again. 😂😂😂
Definitely I agree about the music being played while plastering. Classic music is a better choice!!
is there a old wine jug that would fit into that circular window opening? Just mortar it in.
Ralph were are you? My husband and I are worried....
❤

I realize I have been watching you a long time and I don't know your name. Hi I'm Mike from Atlanta USA. What is your name?
Hi Mike, I'm Raff
lol are you aware of your tongue while you're working?
