That took the cult vibes from an 8/10 to an 11/10...
Honestly it sounds kinda weird but it’s pretty cool honestly😁
@@k2ngcorn you should read up on the history of Joseph Smith, did you know he opened a bank that stole from the members of the church? That he had something like 30 to 40 wives, some of them as young as 14...
A church is just a cult with money.

Was this supposed to make LDS look LESS culty?
Nothing at all said about the secret handshakes and passwords which you supposedly need to know in order to get into heaven. The "symbolism" referred to is a direct rip-off from Freemasonry, not something that the con artist Joseph Smith learned from an angel or some such nonsense.
She forgot to mention the washing and anointing was done completely naked and people would come in to touch your body all over to bless you and chant while doing it. They then graduated to being half naked because members felt sexually assaulted and now do it all clothed because again, members felt sexually assaulted. You’re never warned what will happen either you just show up and they would tell you to get naked then suddenly start touching you
Every time the LDS church pops up on my recommendations, I watch the vids. By the end of it, God reveals to me even more the truth of my faith, Proud to be a Catholic. Deus Vult
How come Jesus forgot to mention anything about the endowment if it's essential to salvation?
He didn’t and Mormonism is a false religion. They don’t know they are deceived, otherwise they wouldn’t be deceived. They need to read and understand the Bible alone, and ask for Jesus to reveal Himself to them, and receive His Holy Spirit. He is the Spirit of truth and will remove the scale from their eyes if they ask Him to.

@@homemademusic7 yes, we believe that he worked through God as a latter day prophet doing his best to have his will done and taught throughout the earth.
I think I'll show this to my family. As a former member of both the lds faith and a former Mason, I can assure you that all of these signs and tokens were lifted from the rituals of Freemasonry. Now they've been removed from the temple ceremony, but that begs the question (as per the definition of the Endowment by Brigham Young) if these things are how we pass angels and ascend into the highest realms of the Celestial kingdom, but they aren't the same anymore, how are we supposed to get there?
"I, New Name, covenant that I will never reveal the First Token of the Aaronic Priesthood, with its accompanying name, sign, and penalty. Rather than do so, I would suffer my life to be taken." (Pre-1990 Temple Endowment)
new name mary tell everyone
I just think it's super creepy that no Mormon temple I've ever seen has windows. There's probably some symbolic meaning to that which means something to Mormons but the ick vibe is strong for me.
Hey! I just so happen to be a teen who works specifically on the windows ( or more specifically ) the stained glass windows in the LDS temples! The main reason they’re not average windows is because stained glass is a kind of art, and we believe the temples should be adorned with all kinds of art forms and Gods creations, but secondly, it’s very often that drones are flown right up to the windows with cameras (you’d be surprised how often this happens) to spy on people in the temple and ‘uncover’ ceremonies in the temple, even though our ceremony’s are far from secret (as disclosed in this video). But we believe sacred things shouldn’t be shared with ill intent as it’s disrespectful to God. Not trying to shove stuff down your throat or nothing I just wanted to shed some light on why our temples don’t have normal windows. Hope this was helpful or at least informative!
@@magictacos2193 When Lucifer appears in the Mormon temple ceremony he is wearing an apron. When Adam asks him about it Lucifer boldly replies: “It is an emblem of my power and Priesthoods”). So, there is no ambiguity here-the apron has nothing to do with God; it is an emblem of Satan’s power and priesthoods. A few minutes later, when they hear God coming, Lucifer tells Adam and Eve to make themselves aprons and hide.
Adam replies, “Come, let us hide,” and at that point in the ceremony everyone is told to put on their aprons. And they do. So, for the rest of the ritual, on top of their temple undergarments with the masonic-type markings, and on top of their white temple clothes, temple patrons wear a dark green apron-in obedience to Lucifer and symbolizing his power and priesthoods.
This stands in stark contrast to what happens in the Bible: God removes the fig-leaf coverings that Adam and Eve make and replaces them with animal skins He provides. This foreshadows and represents the covering for sins provided by Jesus when he was slain on the cross as the Lamb of God (see John 1:29; Hebrews 9:22).
The Solution is to Get Rid of the Apron
Satan’s solution to sin is self-effort. “Make you aprons” is what Lucifer tells Adam and Eve in the Endowment ceremony. But according to Scripture you can’t cover or resolve sin with self-effort: “For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.… But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:6, 8).
Christ did for us what we were powerless to do for ourselves. But, you say, what about the atonement? Christ shed his blood for our sins. Very true. But how do you get the atonement applied to your life, your sin, and your relationships? LDS leaders have said things like,
The demands of justice for broken law can be satisfied through mercy, earned by your continual repentance and obedience to the laws of God (Ensign, Nov. 2006, p. 42, emphasis added).
So, according to LDS Apostle Richard G. Scott, any mercy from God must be earned by continual repentance and obedience. Can anyone do this, continually?
Please consider also this quote on the Atonement from an official LDS Church website:
Jesus Christ did what only He could do in atoning for our sins. To make His Atonement fully effective in our individual lives, we must have faith in Christ, repent of our sins, be baptized and confirmed by one having authority, receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, obey God’s commandments, receive sacred ordinances, and strive to become like Him. As we do these things through His Atonement, we can return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father forever.
The LDS Church teaches that to get the full effects of the atonement in your life you have to do stuff, a lot of stuff, and make sure it is the right stuff, given to you by the right people. You have to contribute quite a bit in order to make it work. This is Lucifer’s apron.
Trade the Apron for the Gift of Perfect Righteousness
Contrast the LDS teaching with God’s testimony found in the Bible:
“he [God] saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy” (Titus 3:5).
“For by grace (unmerited favor) you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
The Heavenly Father of the Bible invites you to make a trade. You give Him your sinful thoughts, your selfish actions, your imperfection, your murder, adultery, and all the other sin that blackens your soul, and in exchange He will give you the perfect righteousness of His Son Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul said it like this:
We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he [God] made him [Jesus] to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Corinthians 5:20-21)
It’s a package deal: you get Christ’s perfection credited to you, and with it you get all your sins forgiven (past, present and yes, all the future ones too), adoption as a child of God, total worthiness and acceptance by God, and the promise-yes, the guaranteed promise-of eternal life in His presence. What can this mean for you?
It means you get to stop trying to earn mercy. You don’t stop seeking to obey God, but you do stop trying to make yourself good enough to be forgiven. It means you no longer have to pretend you are someone you’re not. You no longer have to measure up to a man-made religious standard that’s not from God. The pressure to gain worthiness is off. God loves you and accepts you with the same love and acceptance He has for His Son Jesus, because Jesus paid for your forgiveness and perfect righteousness.
Jesus was perfect, and he was perfect so he could give his perfection to us as a gift. Consider the completed action in this Scripture: For by a single offering he [Jesus] has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified (Hebrews 10:14).
Will We Listen to Lucifer or Jesus?
Lucifer says, “Make you aprons.” In effect, do some of it yourself-it’s the only way to preserve some semblance of pride, dignity, and self-respect, and to gain for yourself what you need. That is quite consistent with the instructions every Latter-day Saint is given before going through the temple endowment ceremony.
Your Endowment is, to receive all those ordinances in the House of the Lord, which are necessary for you, to enable you to walk back to the presence of the Father, passing the angels who stand as sentinels, being enabled to give them the key words, the signs and the tokens, pertaining to the Holy Priesthood, and thus gain your eternal exaltation.
Jesus said, “It is finished” (John 19:30). In effect, “I’ve done it for you, all of it. Now are you willing to humble yourself enough to simply take it?”
As long as you are trying to contribute anything of your own to merit God’s provision of eternal life in His presence, you are rejecting the gift of Jesus Christ’s finished work on your behalf.
Jesus said: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matt. 11:28). (Nowhere in the Scriptures does Jesus say anything about an apron…or grips…or signs and tokens.) You can trust Jesus.

The crazy thing is if you want to get close to God you need to read the bible and do his will. Not any of these things.
really then why are there temples in the bible?
@@michaelparks5669 of course there are temples, most religions have some sort of temple or place of worship but if you aren’t doing Gods will it’s pointless. Reading the bible and finding out what Gods plans for the future and what he requires of us is the main thing 😃
@@Wu-pz6ylAre you aware that the LDS temple is primarily to make covenants to obey God's will?
@@michaelparks5669 what do u LDS think is God’s will? And please don’t answer from Book of Mormon. The bible is God’s word. Thank you.
@@Wu-pz6yl You have been told the "Bible" is the only Christian book. That is because your church did not exist for 1000 until years after Jesus. That is not what early Christians believed. The purpose of God is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of his children.
Another amazing video! Thank you!
The newest version of the endowment is quite different. My concern is how are we getting all these changes when no one seems to eve be pretending they are coming about by revelation. Why didn't the Lord get it right the first time?
cultural changes. not covenant changes.
I bet the explanation is the same as that for why the Jehovah's Witnesses are suddenly loosening up the most onerous (and patently absurd) demands they place on their members. The world is changing, and no matter how hard they try, the established powers of these abusively controlling religions can no longer control what their members learn about their religion. Nor can they make their members believe that life outside the religion would be sheer hell on earth. And once the secret balance sheet of any religion starts to be affected by cultural change leading to reduced membership, the powers that be often suddenly announce that hard and fast rules handed down by the deity himself in ancient times no longer actually apply.
Good question. Especially when the Endowment itself teaches it was taught to Adam and therefore always on the Earth (except the apostacy I suppose). Many LDS say Moses, and Abraham and Christ participated in the Endowment. It does seem odd that it would require so many changes recently.
One possible answer is God teaches people line upon line, as they grow in their understanding.
@@kristinrichmond8185 I know that is the standard answer but it does not make sense here. For example, Christ just realized a few years ago he had left himself out of many important parts of the endowment and changes it. There are examples upon examples where the best answer is it is not inspired.
I'm REALLY glad that you're doing videos like this. There is SO MUCH misinformation and misunderstanding about the Gospel and, in particular, the Temple.
SECRETS NOT SACRED 😊
"We will begin by making the Sign of the First Token of the Aaronic Priesthood. This is done by bringing the right arm to the square, the palm of the hand to the front, the fingers close together, and the thumb extended. This is the sign. The name of this token is the New Name received in the temple today. The Execution of the Penalty is represented by placing the thumb under the left ear, the palm of the hand down, and by drawing the thumb quickly across the throat to the right ear, and dropping the hand to the side." (Pre-1990 Temple Endowment)
And now that the church authorities have changed so much of the "endowment" that I "covenanted" to, I consider my covenant null and void. No more "covenants" of such nonsense for me.

Works salvation.
As Brigham Young taught, all the ordinances of the temple are to prepare us for the Church of the Firstborn - a Terrestrial Order. We are Initiated into this order and then we are given certain preparatory promises that if we are true and faithful, the day will come when the promises and blessings will be fulfilled. In the endowment we are then shown how we can progress, and eventually be worthy to enter God's presence.
I am already worthy. Christ has given to me his righteousness, which is the righteousness of God. I have been made perfect.
Hebrews 10:14
For by one offering Christ hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.
@@jlewis8145 I'm trying to figure out how that works in the minds of LDS people. If we are forgiven and righteous based on the finished work of Jesus, why go through rituals before being allowed into God's presence?
Therefore, brothers, we have boldness to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh.

Having been through sessions in many temples I was surprised to see the yin/yang symbol in all of them. The first temple where I saw the symbol was The Bountiful Temple.
Like many religions created in the USA back in the 1800s by con artists and delusional religious fruitcakes, Mormonism is a mish-mash of all sorts of stuff from various spiritual traditions. The most striking link is the connection between Freemasonry and the rituals designed by Joseph Smith and his cronies.
Very interesting. I know there was a push by one architect, for a time, to include more circles inside squares. An obvious version of the Compass and Square. I didn't know about the yin yang.

However it is interesting - and important - to note that Pres Bednar has not said (or has ever said) that it is appropriate for us to discuss THE DETAILS of any of the Temple procedures outside of the Temple.

@@jmalko9152 I know this is an old comment but I think I can answer.
The Celestial room is actively used as part of the endowment ceremony, so, at least to me, asking if you can just enter it without performing the endowment is kinda like asking if you can enter a baptismal font without performing the baptism. However, from what I understand the rules about entering the celestial room with out it being part of the Endowment Ceremony vary from Temple to Temple. Of course these restrictions only apply to temple patrons, temple workers are just doing what they supposed to when they enter the celestial room.
Universal restrictions include: You need to be an endowed member of the Church and dressed in Temple Clothes (Just the White Clothes).
Common, but not universal restrictions include: 1. You need to at perform a sealing or washing/anointing during that visit before entering. 2. You need to wear the Temple Robes. 3. You need to tell a temple worker and possibly let them guide you there.
A possible, non-medical/non-emergency cause for entering the Celestial room without even wearing the white clothing might be going to a Sealing as a guest, but I can't say for sure. This is because in some older Temples some of the Sealing Rooms are physically part of the Celestial room, so it is possible that guests may have to enter the Celestial room to get to the Sealing room. I assume people in these circumstances aren't supposed to sit and contemplate in The Celestial Room though.
Most, if not all Temples let you stay as long as you like, though if they are closing for the day that might put something of a time limit on you, since they need to lock up.
Temple presidencies have quite a bit of leeway in how exactly they operate the Temple.
Thank you so much for the work you do! I really love you videos about the temple. Don't pay attention to all those who mock and deride the Church and our beliefs in the comments. There will always be people like these. Still, I hope that our testimony will always be unwavering.

I love your videos but they are difficult to watch. PLEASE SLOW DOWN!!! WAY too fast. Very difficult to follow and process. It comes off as trying to go over things so fast that the average person will miss secrets and things being hidden. And its HARD to listen to. You need to slow down. You believe in what you say, you believe in your faith and the LDS, there's no need to rush through this. I'm trying to learn as I was recently baptized but good GOSH .......... its like someone took your 45 speed recording and put it on 78!
It is important to know all of this

your post showing five grips handshakes been removed?

So a giant movie theater to watch masonic cosplay? How does putting my right hand to the square with my left hand in cupping motion bring me closer to Jesus Christ?
Pretty much the same way as the sign of the cross. They're all gestures called to remind you of the Savior's role in your life.
New changes as of January 7, 2023.

Still scary it should be kept secret tbh sacred however no disrespect
The Endowment is a Pagan ritual. It teaches works for progression. It's what they believed in Ancient Egypt.
It totally and completely separates Mormonism from Christianity which is fine if that's what you want to believe.
Most LDS are fooled into thinking they are somehow still Christian despite believing such Pagan doctrines as multiple gods etc.
Witchcraft.
NewNameNoah has the full thing
You should be more honest about it like what actually happens in there and how creepy it actually is the fact that you guys hide that is just so that you don't look how creepy you are at first I was totally down with it once you guys got me all the way out to the temple I felt like I had no choice to keep going but it was definitely weird including the voice on the video
Ummm .....cult?
Do Mormon actually believe God is a human?
Yes, they believe that he once was a man, then died and became god to a planet. They believe only MEN can become gods and that they will have an unlimited number of wives.
@@Shylasmom2004 wow 😯 crazy how they found all this information.

Sooo, why did God come to earth again?
Evil cult
I don’t want to hear the nonsense from a current cult member. I want to hear the truth from a FORMER cult member.
Ya think maybe you are talking more about this than you should be? As a member, I'm certainly not comfortable with how much detail you are giving. I didn't even know this much prior to going through for the first time 11 years ago.
How can you make promises having no idea what they are until you are asked to make them? Red flag to me.
@@kristinesharp6286 how can you comment on something that you literally know nothing about?
@@ShawnGordon no one knows until they enter. That is the point. Your response to me is why the church is cult like. Does anyone not make the vow? Do people make the vow cause what else can they do already in? Nonmembers don’t need to know but the people expected to go through need to know and they don’t know cause part of it is so darn forbidden. Are you telling me you got the entire script of what would happen there before you first went through endowment and living ordinances? You would be the first to say so. People should know ahead of time what they will promise to God after much contemplation so they can follow through with the promise.
@@kristinesharp6286 You go through a Temple prep class that essentially gives you a heads up. I imagine there are folks who back out on rare occasions. Just look at your own attitudes, you probably refer to the garments as "magic underwear" and other disparaging comments. Is there a reason you need to know what is going on other than to take it out of context and mock it and spread lies and rumors like you are now?
@@ShawnGordon being 51 years old several people went out of their way to knock on my door over the years. Unasked. You go out of your way to pester nonmembers then are affronted when they look into it unguided.. hmm.. Believe me I don’t think they are any more or less magical than a nuns habit. So you heard the words expected of you and the actions of the ceremony in the temple prep class? My goodness you certainly had a unique experience. Course ‘essentially’ is the key word for no, you did not know the words and actions until you got to the temple. I can see why obedience is a thing. You are just supposed to go with it. I will say the Mormon church got less cultlike when they let the last three countries members have a civil public exchange of vows without waiting a year in shame. That is all nonmember families want. To be present when the couple swears to be exclusive until death. No one needs to see them seal for time and all eternity and no one wants for them to have to wait to do it. When people complained they got called haters. Yet they changed the policy. Policy can be confronted. If you want to believe Jesus went traveling after the resurrection to the N America, God bless. Believe it. But when members get all weird over policy public criticism like the civil marriage vow year long wait to seal in the temple or how many piercings is evil or prom dresses covering shoulders or height of the temple you want built outside of existing code you are acting goofy. For the temple height Laie temple is 30 feet tall with no steeple. Surely if it’s okay for Oahu it is okay for Vegas to build something similar in height to the surrounding structures? There is a strip in Vegas full of high rises, could go there. NYC has one that blends in. I realize you rebranded the name of the church. Claimed leadership never called themselves Mormon. But being 51 I clearly remember the name of that particular choir.. and the commercials encouraging people to call for their free New Testament and their free copy of the Book of Mormon OR to ask their ‘Mormon’ neighbor. Yeah the church used Mormon to describe their members in my lifetime. COJCOLDS just does not roll off the tongue and believe me they will have a new prompting over this silliness in a few decades max.
And also from Masonic rituals
humm nope not from Masons.
@@michaelparks5669100% from the Masons. Brigham Young, Heber C. Kimball and even Joseph Smith were Masons, they believed that Mormonism was perfect Masonry
Lot of rooms very cool
My favorite part is when the Christian minister who works for Satan leads people in a song.
This has not exactly right, but nothing even remotely like this has been in the endowment for a long time. You should probably get an update...
@@ComeFollowScripture it used to be in the ceremony?
@@chase.wilson There use to be a minister in the endowment ceremony who preached some false doctrine, but he did not lead people in a song; he was one of my favorite characters. I don't think he has been in the endowment since the 1980's. There was a hymn in the endowment in the very early days of the church, but I am not sure how that was presented.
@@ComeFollowScripture Why did the endowment change if it was revealed by god to be the same ceremony used long ago? I thought changing ordinances was the sign of apostacy.
@@scottpurves If you have read the Bible, and don't see any changes in the way that God has commanded his people to worship and follow him throughout the years, then you probably did not read it very well.
This isnt your job. You should probably leave it up to the church to provide explanations. This format does not facilitate the spirit and seems to repel rather than inspire. Please stop trying to monetize sacred beliefs.
Jesus said to expose the works of darkness.
Endow from the Greek means to clothe. Check out Galatians chapter 3.
The clothing (enduo) comes at baptism into Christ. That's it.
The Mormon priesthood is fake and superfluous.
Its infact demonic but the Lord Jesus will save our sisters and brothers who are willing to be saved and those who are leading God's children into perdition will be judged . Many are paid to lie to God's children . As Satan manage to bring arabe nations in captivity by Islam so He is doing among the Christians.
Read your Bible to know your Father
Early Christians had the priesthood. where is that priesthood today?
@@michaelparks5669 The only "priesthood" mentioned in the NT is 1 Peter 2:9 and it pertained to everyone in the church, not just men. And see Galatians 3:28. "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is *neither male nor female;* for you are all one in Christ Jesus." And this full "robing" of Jesus comes at the point of _baptism._ See the previous verse: "For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on (endowed with) Christ." Learn some Greek, my friend. Mormonism is a false cult.
@@KendraAndTheLaw So is christianity, or should I call it paulianity? Jesus isn't Christ. He was a failed Jewish messiah, he never heard the Greek word Christ in his life, and IF he was coming back he would have done so a long time ago. Paul lied when he said that Jesus would return in under 40 years, and it's only been through creative interpretation that "before this generation shall pass away" means anything other than imminent.
