Your brain runs 100times faster than mine, but I like that you speak so rapidly. It is easy to note that you such a good person and Latter-day Saint. Thank you.
Last week I was fortunate to visit the Manti Temple. It was a great experience. The lines were long, but the missionary girls on Temple Square gave me a tip. They told me to show up at 8 AM even though my appointment was at noon. I did that and I got in when the doors opened at 8:45 AM. The interior of the temple was magnificent. It was WELL WORTH the drive and the overnight I spent.
I've got no problem with it. We are an open cannon. God continues to reveal. God doesn't change but we do. He modifies his ways of reaching us as we perfect our beings.

My dad was a mason, and I got to witness some pretty odd stuff. I'm not a mormon, but I watched some hidden video stuff, and its pretty clear, at least from my perspective, its a close enough to be sure that it was copied.
My grandfather and my great grandfather (his father) were Masons, too. I never asked my Granddad any questions about Freemasonry because i knew he would be in so much trouble for revealing secrets of the Masons. I did my own research. I was an active member of the Mormon Church for 3 years. I only went to Temple once to do Baptism by Proxy for a fellow sister. I only got to go to the room where the Baptism by Proxy is done. But when we were getting ready for the Baptisms, i noticed the symbols on the jumpsuits we put on underneath the Baptism jumpsuit. They looked like Masonic symbols. I have not been in a Mormon Church for over 2 years now

@@mae-qt8hw it is indeed interesting to think of the parallels between Freemason rituals/ceremonies and Temple worship of Latter-day Saints. However, it has become more clear to me over the past year that Joseph was learning about temples long before he became a freemason. Not only that but I believe that Freemason worship evolved from a more ancient tradition that very likely involved the abrahamic religions! Cool stuff!
I love this, thank you! It's very succinct and well done - I'm sending it to my 2 sisters and my 5 kids! ❤❤❤ (By the way, I LOVE your side part! It balances out your face beautifully and really enhances your eyes and cheekbones!)
In this day and age. None of that stuff is secret anymore. While I was learning about the LDS church. I was watching videos. Hoping learn all I can. Several videos were secretly recorded. Several of them are of the endowment and Covenants. I was torn. I was very interested in the information. Knowledge of how things were done, yet I still did not think it was right for people to be recording what is sacred to the LDS church. Nothing these days is hidden.
That man who secretly recorded the temple ceremony betrayed and conned many people who love and trust him. He brags about it. Taken completely out of context the temple ceremony would seem confusing. But the House of God is the most peaceful, glorious place on earth where His power and love is so palpable! It is one of my greatest blessings. Obviously it’s not for everyone, and those without eyes to see and hearts to feel mock things they do not understand. It’s okay though, God still loves them. According to mormon theology, can one get into the celestial kingdom without having received their endowment on earth? Any answers that don't involve spirit prison/paradise?
Yes. Joseph Smith's brother Alvin died without baptism, and before the endowment ordinance was restored. Joseph Smith saw Alvin in the celestial kingdom (in a vision) and was surprised by that and inquired of God how that was possible.
This is the Gospel according to @i2rtw so take it as not necessarily exactly correct, but as I understand it, baptism and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, both by proper authority, and living true to those covenants qualifies one for the Celestial Kingdom in the lowest tier of such. Endowment, and living true to those covenants = middle tier. Entering into, and living true to the new and everlasting covenant of marriage = the highest tier. All of these are in the Celestial Kingdom and thus in the presence of God the Father. Edit: proxy (someone living acting in the stead of someone dead) baptism, gift of the Holy Ghost, initiatory, endowment, and sealing (new and everlasting covenant of marriage) is the bulk of what happens in the Houses of the Lord. The person for whom the proxy work was done can then choose to accept or reject; no one is forced into Celestial glory.
@@i2rtw wow... thank you for the robust reply. So, not only are there 3 degrees of glory (terrestrial, celestial, telestial) but there are also 3 tiers within the celestial kingdom? May I ask what the new and everlasting covenant of marriage is?
Don't you believe what Jesus said in the gospel of Matthew Chapter 5 verse 48? How will you become "perfect in Christ Jesus? " Colossians 1: 28. "what manner of persons ought ye to be in.. godliness..?" 2nd Peter 3: 11. Don't you understand we differ from God not in kind but by degree? Genesis 1: 26,27
Thank you for explaining this my older brother is getting his endowment, and even though I’m a Latter Day Saint it’s kind of hard to understand at first.

Good overview, although, I wouldn't use the word "incredible" to describe exaltation, it actually means unbelievable. Also, God didn't create sentient beings out of nothing. We were "intelligences" before we were spirits.
I think what she means “ creating sentient out of nothing”, she’s referring to the mortal body. It did not exist until it was conceived. Our spirits on the other hand are eternal. Or our intelligence, which God created into a spirit.
We as mortal parents also don't create sentient beings out of nothing - rather it is a lot of carbon, nitrogen, oxygen .... But I agree this was an enjoyable overview.
You should compare your temple rituals with the Masonic rituals. You will instantly notice where Joseph Smith got his ideas for the temple ordinances, handshakes, etc. Oh, but your leaders have changed many of them, like the symbolic slitting of the throat and belly, when the public found out from the movie The Godmakers. Interesting how God changes his sacred rituals to conform to public opinion.
What? Come home to Orthodoxy. True beauty in worship, the only Church Christ directly started. He blessed Peter to start His Church, which has existed since 33 a.d., fully 300 years before the bible. Peter was the first Bishop of Antioch, starting the Orthodox Church of Antioch. Acts 11:26 says it was in Antioch that they were first called Chriatians. Peter established that Church (The Church) 12 years before ever traveling to Rome. The Orthodix Divine Liturgy has been celebrated every Sunday for nearly 2000 years. Orthodoxy was around for 1000 years before Roman Catholicism, 1500 years before Protestantism (in general), and 1800 years before Mormonism (a Western belief system full of admitted flaws and based on bigoted, racist beliefs). True, LDS has "changed", doing away with bigamy (hiding it) and racist teachings, but... Why was it taught in the first place? Christ's teachings never changed, sooo... Beware false prophets!
This seems to have nothing to do with what Jesus did in his life with his Apostles. The full ceremony itself has been detailed (and even filmed secretly) and it's essentially identical to Masonic rites of Joseph Smith's time.
@@Whatiftheresmore1314 It's more an observation than a criticism. I find nothing in the New Testament nor in the Book of Mormon which details anything about these Endowment Ceremonies. And it's a simple fact that they are almost identical to Masonic rituals.
It’s for the faithful. Not to actually inform. No mentioning of the Masonic copy paste. No mention of the chanting and coordinated hand movements. Incidentally, I have no hostility whatsoever toward the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I grew up with many, and they are overwhelmingly wonderful people.
