I NEVER thought I would be vlogging but here I am: 39 year old mother of 4 adding vlogs to my playlist and LOVING it 🥰 The biggest game changer for me has been getting comfortable with talking to the camera like a friend. It helps that I have some close friends who watch my vlog so I’m excited to hear their reactions after they watch. I’m taking a few pages from your book and trying to incorporate more B-roll of myself to avoid the janky first person perspective all the time 😅

This is so far out of my usual viewing niche… but damn good video. The suggestion of filming yourself as b-roll is great. Similar to photography, portraits are boring, environmental portraiture is interesting. Was this shot on iPhone? Maybe I missed it. This gives me the confidence to film my first long form video 🥹 a quick 30 second video is easy. Anything longer than that is daunting.
