I absolutely love that you continue to show when there are issues and how you work through them. I think it's one of the most important parts of your videos. Always learning from failures and improving.
Lee - Thank you for putting this detailed video together and congratulations on your success! I've been following your channel for a while now and have learned a lot. I am hoping we'll get our new ROQ up and running within next couple of months. It's taken longer than I expected to get the building ready which is the main reason for the delay. I've been learning more about the Spyder and this looks like the next piece of equipment we will have to invest in once were up and running for a while. Keep up the awesome work brother!
Great video as always! I wanted to mention that this machine looks so much like a Douthitt CTS with different decals? Not being rude at all just noticed.
I saw these things running at Printed United back in '22. Made me do a double take because I'd never seen something like that before. Looks like a cool machine, hopefully will speed up workflow a bit.
Your videos are awesome man! So, from one metalhead to another... when the hell will you get more XL Global Domination shirts made ??? I need one of those in my life ! Keep up the great work! -MetalBob
Do you have a link or a contact for where I can get that exposure calculator from Don-Tone Designs? I cannot find it despite my best efforts but would be happy to pay for the file!
@@leestuart38 cool. i always watching your videos (don't know if i skipped the dtg episode), you inspire me! Keep posting more videos :D I love the way you explain things and show how passionate you are, the rouge lab designs, effin sick!!! God bless Lee! :D
I ended up going with dual cure emulsion as well because the other one was just too fast to expose and you just ended up stacking up screens so fast for wash out it didn't make sense.
We've since locked in to dual cure as well. The CTS can't print as fast as the dual cure emulsion exposes so a photopolymer isn't worth using. Even with the dual cure we're stacking up screens in the washout, but pulling more detail 🤘🏻
@@leestuart38 I have been looking for something like the halftone test file you had. Let me know if you want to share where you got yours or if you have a new one. PS, great stuff, keep it up.
We tested screens out in the light for hours and it doesn't expose them. We're getting undercut on the smallest dots somehow, but it's very dependent on the design. It only seems to happen when the dots are sparse

Thanks! I always want to keep it real and show the ups and downs of our work
This is awesome Lee! Very interesting to hear the tech specs on the install. Can’t wait to see the bump in the already impeccable quality.

So appreciate this one Lee! You brought confidence to a purchasing decision for us man!
It's totally worth it!
Glad you are loving the SpyderII CTS, Lee. We are here if you need any assistance. 🙌
Question. If the machine takes about 30-60 min to heat up in the am, is it suggested or ok to just keep it running all of the time?
I keep mine running and just run a purge every morning, it's a lot easier
We love it!
The 4 crew you picked is solid 🤙🏽
3/4 in this video are solid, thankful to be rid of the other one 😂. Her replacement is awesome though.
i know with your eye for detail, you're gonna rock that machine.
It's a bit of a learning curve but this machine is a huge game changer
Could you share your exposure test?
Again Just Awesome, out of the box! Boom baby.
This thing is incredible 🤘🏻

The workflow speeds are insane!
You are still our hero

Thanks! We did just drop a bunch of killer new hoodies, including our metal logo on them. I may make some more global domination tees at some point
That machine is amazing!!
We absolutely love it
Where or who does your designs, some of them just look amazing with such a lot of detail. Q asked from London UK
Thanks! We do them all in house

siiiiiick!!!!!! are you going o buy a DTG or do you have already?
I had a DTG for a while, got rid of it for the 6 head embroidery machine.

Nice great content as usual.
Thank you 🙏🏻
where did you purchase the half tone exposure calculator?
Someone sent it to me. I think I'm going to work on something of my own soon

Just got my first press (:
Congrats!
@@leestuart38 thanks
Realmente sueño algún día tener un taller como el tuyo. 😎
you are in a print shop, is the ink wet on that C note?
If I could pump those out, I'd be sitting on a beach somewhere instead of sweating my ass off with all of these knuckleheads 😂
Lemme get that Epson lol
Farewell Charley: Charley's Dad gets a new job at the seafood cooking palace since 1991.
"something solid or something with halftones" - "solid first" - sad face, ok cool....lol. my boi wants to see them dots!
Plenty of dots on the way!
Maybe your emulsion is getting pre exposed?

That bill was not real! Benjamin franklin is not on it! Lol
I couldn't even tell you who's on ours 😂
@@leestuart38 lol
too many errors. did you got frustrated at some point ant thought "F. this machine!!! I'm sending it back!!!"?
Never. Every new piece of equipment takes some time to practice and learn
now...who's going to invent something that cleans your screens automatically?
That exists. It just costs a lot lol
Your gonna hate that thing soon....
It's been here for a few months, loving it
