    Great stuff Lee and good to see that you have your business head on right. Statistics show that well over 95% of new businesses fail in the first five years. In my professional opinion, every one of them failed at the point when they ran out of cash. Reasons for running out of cash are many and varied but all of those reasons are fixable - if you can spot them and if you then have the cash to push through the fix time. Good luck!

    Hey Lee, great to see vlog finally by a fellow Canuck. Im in Edmonton. Efficiency should be your middle name man, shop looks great. I retrofitted my exposure unit with a 50watt LED and my exposure times are about 12secs.
    I have a 25watt LED light i had ordered and used for a couple weeks and we were getting 45secs exposures but wanted something quicker. Its just sitting in a box, i can ship it to ya for free if you want. I see ur at 3:45 for exposing. Up to you mano, keep up the vlog its great to see.

    • @leestuart38
      @leestuart38  6 лет назад

      Thanks dude. My exposure is only high because I'm running a dual cure emulsion I had just to get rid of it since it has a short shelf life, dual cure all runs high exposure times. I'm only at 30secs with my photopolymer stuff, so there's no need for an LED. Plus I don't wanna tear apart a 3 week old exposure unit to rig up parts into haha. But thanks for the offer man, cool of you to do 👊🏻

      That's super cool to hear, thanks man. To me they're just dumb videos I make for fun, it's amazing that they somehow impact people positively. As for the shirt, I kinda use the sleeve seams and the armpit area to gauge if it's straight. If those are centered you're usually right where you wanna be. Sometimes there is that faint center crease in the shirt from manufacturing too, but they're never 100% down the middle so that's only a quick guide for me.

I'm planning on going on a year trip next year to get some travel behind me. I'm a little sceptical at the moment thinking about leaving the printing behind for a while, is it the right choice? Great content Lee. Love the designs you're creating. Re the mixer, try cheap scissors from a $2 shop. simply wield the shaft together (or electrical tape if you want that hillbilly look) so the scissors no longer open and close and slam them shaft first into your drill or drill press and you should be good to go the finger holes make great paddles. Cheap scissors are the best as you can have a set for different colours and when they break throw them away and build a new set without breaking the bank.

    What type of printer do you use for making films. I have a Epson 1430 and bought this on Craigslist for $240 had to clean the head really good then bought a continuous ink setup for $45 on ebay and I have been printing films for about two months and I print almost every other day so a lot of films and I have not had to buy more ink yet.

    • @leestuart38
      @leestuart38  6 лет назад

      I have the epson p400. There isn't a continuous ink system for this thing unfortunately, epson got too smart for that. These companies make their money on the ink, not the printers haha

    OK so I have a question if I’m buying a vinyl cutter do I go with the Titans vinyl cutter does ranges from $700-$1000 but it doesn’t have a servo motor should I look for a vinyl cutter with the servo motor or should I buy supplies for screen printing a set up
