Because you answer questions which analyses your personality, that is, if you answer truthfully. It's not based on things like birth place, date of birth, or witchcraft. It's based on you as a person, not physically, but psychologically
@@moawahl1926 to be fair, it's still pseudoscience. Whether you're one type or another is usually context dependent (e.g. most people are neither purely introvert nor purely extrovert but ambivert). The description of the types is also extremely vague, similar to the ones for zodiacs, so of course people will agree with a lot of what is supposed to be their type. There is no actual science behind this and the test itself doesn't fulfill scientific standards, it's not actual psychology.
Even if you are of a certain personality type, you should always remember to not stick to it, because a extrovert can be introverted and vice versa, and many people are ambivert, and you should not try to live in that description (given when you take any personality test). That's what is taught in our psychology classes. 😊
i used to be ENFP but recently i took the test it was INFP ...i kinda agree with the results cuz i used be super confident and extroverted back then but now Ive become an introvert cuz now i don't approach people first and don't even prefer socializing unlike before
the last time I checked which was almost a year ago, I was an ENFJ-A. surprisingly MBTI is pretty popular in the US too! my science teacher had asked us to try out the MBTI website during class as an assignment and then sorted out people with the same MBTI’s together.
I'm curious how different the MBTI stereotypes are in Korea :oo I get stereotyped as an INFJ (or even INFP or INTP sometimes) by people and popular tests. But I'm actually an ENTP lol.
They're the same, I mean it stands for the same thing, only difference could be that personality traits are looked upon differently. For example, I would assume that in the U.S, Extroverted people are the norm/ likable people, where as in Korea, I could only guess that Introverted people are the norm and maybe more likable (Not based on any type of fact, just a guess and to put an example)
@jaminawahlberg7105 Yeah, that's what I'm curious about. Stereotypes are all about the perception of people from a few traits, and I wonder how different the Korean interpretation of the MBTI is from outside the country/English-speaking communities. This isn't an MBTI example but like action male characters are stereotypically brave and tough. And in the West, they usually interpret those two traits as muscular-looking men who are intimidating and rough. While in the East Asian movies, I have watched, the characters are also intimidating but they don't fit the muscular gym bro image. They're more slim fit (I think that's the term for them), and they have a chill air around them and only become rough when the situation calls for it. Certain traits remain the same globally but there are differences for each country or continent. And I want to know what those are when applied to the personalities, if that makes sense.
I remember when I watched Transit Love 2, on the first episode Lee Nayeon started asking everyone's MBTI and they started asking and guessing each person's MBTI everytime someone new comes in 🤣🤣 Oh, and I'm ISFP-T!
I was curious about this whole MBTI thing so I found a test online but the test was very long and I got lazy soo😂😂 I’m still curious maybe I’ll try it sometime.

i'm an ISFJ-T but before I was INFJ-T MBTI is really interesting like it's based on personality not some blood genes or the rotation of the earth and some stars. I wish it was more famous here

and MBTI stands for the personality results of the Myer-Briggs personality test. You get a result like (ex. INTP or ENTJ, etc… there are many, i think 16 different ones) and it basically deduces different parts of your personality and how it plays into different situations! hope that helps
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. You can google it and take the quiz. It's fun and can help you learn about yourself. However, "Though the MBTI resembles some psychological theories, it has been criticized as pseudoscience and is not widely endorsed by academic researchers in the psychology field".
It is a 4 letter system by Isabel Myers which uses both ditchonomies and cognitive functions *Dicthonomies are S/N, F/T, I/E, J/P which is quite important to know along with cognitive functions , as an IIEE/EEII believer *-cognitive functions are Si, Ni, Se, Ne, Fe, Te, Fi, Ni Example: ISFJ - Si-F(e)-T(i)-N(e).....this is the grant typung(typing btu in EEII/IIEE it's Si-Fi-Te-Ne Example kinda like that, so basically your dominant function should be in cognitive function, rest is fine with ditchonomies(not 16-p description..... just read gifts differing for mbti)
honestly, it kinda annoys me cuz the mbti they go by isn’t even actual mbti and more like just 16 personalities quiz answers 🤕 actual mbti has to do with cognitive functions and to accurately type ur own mbti u have to learn about these functions, function stacks, etc. taking a quiz online is the least reliable way and spreads so much misinformation. i get that it’s fun to take a quiz and get a result that might have something to do with ur personality, but mbti doesn’t work that way and i think that actual mbti typing should be separated from the sudden trend of mbti that’s isn’t even mbti (i think it should be called something that has to do with 16 personalities since that is the most mainstream “mbti” test (even though 16 personalities has stated that their test isn’t for actual mbti typing but rather just uses the same letter system of i/e, n/s, f/t, j/n.)) idk i think it’s important to make the distinction between actual mbti typing and the new trend of “mbti” since if u were to try and tell someone who studies cognitive functions, socionics, enneagrams, tritypes, big 5, etc. that ur an “infp-t” they would have no clue what that means since that doesn’t even exist in the typing community (note: no actual mbti can have an ending of -t or -a, that’s a strictly online personality test (16 personalities) result and is not an actual part of someone’s actual mbti typing)
Depending on how they word the questions, I'm either INTP or INFP. Pretty sure that of the two, I'm INFP. The issue with the wording of the tests is when they ask which way I "prefer" to make decisions or questions about valuing logic. Like, listen, I 100% believe that the world would be better off if people stepped back from their emotions more when making decisions BUT I AM ALSO the sort of person that will get ridiculously attached to an item I just saw and have to buy it because emotions. Like, I VALUE logic but I am not a logical being.
i would thrive in korea, i’m obsessed with mbti 😭 i’ve done so much research over the past 2-3 years that i can usually guess once i get to know someone. i’m an intp!!
It was so weird to watch this become a craze over there in Korea. I had been typing my favorite K-pop stars since like 2014. Then all the sudden they began taking the tests and discussing the results on variety shows. It was so weird to see something I was obsessed with become so huge over there lol
Every time I see someone unironically comment "XXXX-t"/"XXXX-a" I can feel my lifespan decreasing bit by bit. Please I'm begging y'all to stop using 16p, it's not real mbti.
Just a few add ons. The Metric used in 16 Personalities test isn't MBTI, it's a Big5 like metric to measure each trait rather than Cognition which makes MBTI thus missing out the entire system as a whole. The actual MBTI Model doesn't include -A or -T and they make little sense and have no place in Cognition. MBTI is also a Pseudoscience and also one of the earliest Theoretical attempt to classify the the fundamental differences of each human that they have innately. It isn't perfect and Socionics Model A and Model G are far better from a scientific point of view and more Modern and I do recommend people to check the original sources of each of these Models and Systems than read from Misinformed individuals on the net or trust the result 16p test gives you as self typing or typing with the help of Professional Typists(yes they exist) is far better and highly recommended.
This made me laugh so much just hearing about it, in a good way. I know Americans love their labels so much (I am one I’ve seen what it’s like) they’d go ballistic for this. 😂
ENTJ here. Most likely explains why I always look for the logical solution in a problem (My MBTI Type often switches between INTJ, ESTJ, and ENTJ by function)
MBTI TYPES DO CHANGE I‘m not fully mature so it‘s a reasonable thing for me to constantly fluctuate between TeNi, NiTe, and TeSi. (Last three words are the functions of ENTJ, INTJ, and ESTJ
16personality is innacurate and uses letter typing. Real mbti is cognitive functions. I am an enfp because my cognitive functions are Ne (Extrovert Intuition), Fi (Introverted Feeling) m, Te (Extroverted thinking) and Si (Introverted sensing). No quiz can ever accurately type you, so learn cognitive functions and type yourself. Also mbti doesn't change.

Even if you are of a certain personality type, you should always remember to not stick to it, because a extrovert can be introverted and vice versa, and many people are ambivert, and you should not try to live in that description (given when you take any personality test). That's what is taught in our psychology classes. 😊
MBTI uses Introvert and Extrovert in a different way than general usage.
@@cheshiregrin1714 yeah that's right, plus we don't recommend it. Instead EPQI (Revised version) is used. It's more significant
i used to be ENFP but recently i took the test it was INFP ...i kinda agree with the results cuz i used be super confident and extroverted back then but now Ive become an introvert cuz now i don't approach people first and don't even prefer socializing unlike before
ENFJ AND MY BIAS IS ALSO ENFJ 😭
Heyyyyyyy🥺 I'm an ENFJ too💕
MBTI is an induction thing.
-INTP
C-U-T-E Baby
😂😂😂
Yeonjun dat u👀✨️
A STAAA
Yeahhhh
the last time I checked which was almost a year ago, I was an ENFJ-A. surprisingly MBTI is pretty popular in the US too! my science teacher had asked us to try out the MBTI website during class as an assignment and then sorted out people with the same MBTI’s together.
im intp 😭 did that 16personality quiz a good 5 times, got infp the first time then the next few tries are all intp
I'm an ENFJ!
ENFJ -A ❤ all i see is introverted people in the comment section 😂
I remember when I watched Transit Love 2, on the first episode Lee Nayeon started asking everyone's MBTI and they started asking and guessing each person's MBTI everytime someone new comes in 🤣🤣
Oh, and I'm ISFP-T!
YOURE THE FIRST OTHER ISFP-T OVE SEEN :D
i was also 1% assertive B)
I'm an ISTP
It would be fun to know what stereotypes there are about my personality
I was curious about this whole MBTI thing so I found a test online but the test was very long and I got lazy soo😂😂 I’m still curious maybe I’ll try it sometime.
An interesting take on how MBTI type are popular! Thanks for sharing to inspire my MBTI channel. Randomly discovered your channel through the RUclips algorithm! 🤟🤟🤟
Im INFP like hyunjin from skz and yk wht? I _have_ seen a few similarities in our personalities
Edit: he mentioned somewhere that he isnt INFP anymore :(
Thats me and changbin for ESFP 😂 and i dont regret any second of it
if anyone here ACTUALLY wants to learn about their mbti type and actually find their mbti type, please learn cognitive functions!! it's a bit difficult to understand at first, but there are videos explaining how they work and it gives you way more information about mbti!! also mbti is not supposed to determine how smart or mean you are so if that's what you're looking for, mbti is not the right place (there are stereotypes but yk)
INFJ-A introvert af 😂
🙋 me too.
It’s so cool cuz any time I talk about MBTI, my friends are like she’s talking about those letters again 🙄’ but I’m an ENFJ 😂
ISFP~
i'm an ISFJ-T but before I was INFJ-T
MBTI is really interesting like it's based on personality not some blood genes or the rotation of the earth and some stars. I wish it was more famous here
Mbti is still not legit science though. But atleast it’s better than horoscopes and blood types
it's still pseudoscience though
so it's all the same
I'm an ENFP, but I used to think i was an ENTP. I'm the loudest, wildest, most "Who the fuck cares" girl you'll ever meet
INFP-T :) (I’m curious on what they would think- lol)
If you want accurate results, i would recommend not doing the 16 personalities test!
Which one should we do then?
@@etsuko777ifts differing and psychological types reading
Also study about enneagram(Beatrice, naranjo or ichazo related), socionics and some other typology systems if possible
My friend is obsessed with this stuff and sends me and my friends so many quizzes for them so the only thing I know Is I'm a enfj
I'm an INFJ ❤
Suddenly remember nct... They always ask a member about mbti😂😂
I don't really understand whatn MBTI is Can you explain it?
and MBTI stands for the personality results of the Myer-Briggs personality test.
Thankyou now I understand 💜
It is a 4 letter system by Isabel Myers which uses both ditchonomies and cognitive functions
*Dicthonomies are S/N, F/T, I/E, J/P which is quite important to know along with cognitive functions , as an IIEE/EEII believer
*-cognitive functions are Si, Ni, Se, Ne, Fe, Te, Fi, Ni
Example: ISFJ - Si-F(e)-T(i)-N(e).....this is the grant typung(typing btu in EEII/IIEE it's Si-Fi-Te-Ne Example kinda like that, so basically your dominant function should be in cognitive function, rest is fine with ditchonomies(not 16-p description..... just read gifts differing for mbti)
honestly, it kinda annoys me cuz the mbti they go by isn’t even actual mbti and more like just 16 personalities quiz answers 🤕 actual mbti has to do with cognitive functions and to accurately type ur own mbti u have to learn about these functions, function stacks, etc. taking a quiz online is the least reliable way and spreads so much misinformation. i get that it’s fun to take a quiz and get a result that might have something to do with ur personality, but mbti doesn’t work that way and i think that actual mbti typing should be separated from the sudden trend of mbti that’s isn’t even mbti (i think it should be called something that has to do with 16 personalities since that is the most mainstream “mbti” test (even though 16 personalities has stated that their test isn’t for actual mbti typing but rather just uses the same letter system of i/e, n/s, f/t, j/n.)) idk i think it’s important to make the distinction between actual mbti typing and the new trend of “mbti” since if u were to try and tell someone who studies cognitive functions, socionics, enneagrams, tritypes, big 5, etc. that ur an “infp-t” they would have no clue what that means since that doesn’t even exist in the typing community (note: no actual mbti can have an ending of -t or -a, that’s a strictly online personality test (16 personalities) result and is not an actual part of someone’s actual mbti typing)
Bro the mbti is bullshit. I did the test 3 times and got three different results because my mood was different 😂
INFJ is supposed to be rarest and yet most of the comments here show it 😅 I'm university-tested INTJ
I'm an INTJ.
Took many tests, took cognitive functions test, studied cognitive functions- INTJ.
i would thrive in korea, i’m obsessed with mbti 😭 i’ve done so much research over the past 2-3 years that i can usually guess once i get to know someone. i’m an intp!!
it's a cute craze but i wish they did more research because the mbti that sk adores rn isn't based on the jung theory 😔
It was so weird to watch this become a craze over there in Korea. I had been typing my favorite K-pop stars since like 2014. Then all the sudden they began taking the tests and discussing the results on variety shows. It was so weird to see something I was obsessed with become so huge over there lol
An INFJ... Also an HSP
Love your vids❤
My mbti is protagonist ENFJ-T
THATS IT!!!!!!
IM MOVING 2 KOREA!!!!!!!! >:DDDDDDDD
Every time I see someone unironically comment "XXXX-t"/"XXXX-a" I can feel my lifespan decreasing bit by bit. Please I'm begging y'all to stop using 16p, it's not real mbti.
ENTJ... After listening my career psychologists description and recommendations... I think it means Sith Lord.
I am INTP, took test for several times within long time gaps
I am an INTP but my mom is an ESFJ and my sister is an ISTP
ENFP-T and proud! There are difficulties but I will overcome
I'm an INTJ, it's cool that mbti is so popular in Korea rn🧡
same
This made me laugh so much just hearing about it, in a good way. I know Americans love their labels so much (I am one I’ve seen what it’s like) they’d go ballistic for this. 😂
MBTI has gotten really popular in the west too! I’m an INFP.
I did this a while ago! I’m an ENFJ-A. People here have been taking this test a lot lately.
omg- that's actually really smart!!
I'm an INFP :)
Im an esfj but i dont enjoy being around people.😂❤
ENFJ the protagonist :3
Infps here :
ENTJ here.
Most likely explains why I always look for the logical solution in a problem
(My MBTI Type often switches between INTJ, ESTJ, and ENTJ by function)
MBTI TYPES DO CHANGE
I‘m not fully mature so it‘s a reasonable thing for me to constantly fluctuate between TeNi, NiTe, and TeSi.
(Last three words are the functions of ENTJ, INTJ, and ESTJ
when im intp and my bias is also intp
Bro literally same
is jk your bias? lmao
Omgggg yessss
me too AHHHAHAHAHA
I'm an Entj✋ 👁️👄👁️
Mine is ENFP! it helps me understand a lot of my tendencies that most people would say point to ADHD!
I'm ENTJ, the leader. It's.pretty rare, espacially for women.
I got either ISTJ or ISTP. I mostly get ISTJ due to my inflexibility and cannot understand people who cannot accept reality.
ENFJ-A I AM THAT
I'm ENFP-A.And I'm glad that their is so much enfp😁
INTP-T here✋
I’m an intj 😂❤
16personality is innacurate and uses letter typing. Real mbti is cognitive functions. I am an enfp because my cognitive functions are Ne (Extrovert Intuition), Fi (Introverted Feeling) m, Te (Extroverted thinking) and Si (Introverted sensing). No quiz can ever accurately type you, so learn cognitive functions and type yourself. Also mbti doesn't change.
I’m INTP, and I think it’s pretty accurate since I often zone out and is in my own thoughts and likes alone time
Sameeeee
