But he was the absolute best brother and uncle, babysitting and doing laundry for them while his sister was at work teaching full-time. I was so out of the loop, I didn't even know he was a celebrity. And unless you were familiar with his work, you wouldn't know it either. That's how humble and unassuming he was. I'm sure he will be greatly missed.

Gilbert and Norm Macdonald were comedians for comedians. They were very elusive when it came to letting people to know the men behind the shows, according to many who were acquainted with them.
I understand that it was much the same with Phil Hartman. I miss him, especially 'The Anal Retentive Chef'. And never forget Chris Farley and John Belushi.

His stage voice was like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. Don't get me wrong, I thought he was brilliant, but that voice. I'm surprised Stuttering John didn't say anything about that. I was on his live feed when he found out. They were close and I felt so bad for him 😢
has he ever formally adressed why he would put on the voice we know him as? I cant imagine keeping that act up for as much as he does. The only clips we have of him that I even know of are always from stern, nowhere else.
