Norm was under rated as well.
6 months since Gilbert and 1+ year since Norm and it still drives me fucking insane, daily...hourly?. that they're both gone.
RIP Gilbert - you brought so many laughs into my life. A debt I can never repay.
Gilbert is wonderful : his voice on the pop tarts commercial still rings out in my ears. What a unique voice in entertainment.
It’s so nice that all my old favorite comedians are getting the spotlight for standing up!
One of the few Rogan shows that I went to Spotify to listen to in full when it first came out. RIP Gilbert Gottfried. Great episode.
R.I.P. Gilbert Gottfried. In this appearance on "The Joe Rogan Show" podcast, Gottfried is speaking in the voice of the character he did all the years of his stand-up comedy career. Apparently his real voice was very soft-spoken. So sad that he died at just 67 years-old!😢
benn talking bout this past few days......very cool to her his voice and respect even more the voice he had all us think was ...when was just part of his classics acts.... RIP
This was his "real" voice.
@@stephenannese8228 Nah you can hear his real voice on RUclips. He spoke on an answering machine
I can record a 20 second answering machine message that's low key too. Doesn't mean I'm going around "putting on" a fake voice the rest of the time. He's just talking like normal this is his voice give the guy some respect.
@porkflaps4717. Where'd you get the ludicrous notion that Rudeljaeg was showing any disrespect to the late Gilbert Gottfried in his posted response comment? Nowhere in his posted response comment did he show any disrespect towards Gottfried!
I remember seeing Gilbert on Married with Children, stuck on a raft with the Bundies!
I remember him chasing a quarter for one full episode of USA Up All Night
Beverly Hills Cop 2 - then the Cosby Show . Or was it the other way around ?
Something with Rich Little, and he was wearing a pin-striped vest and held some stuff next to his ears. Why do I know this...?

I will never forget his entire Roseanne roast. absolutely floored me watching it on tv harder than being at any stand-up show in my life
His Joan Rivers roasts were hilarious too.
But the rossilla thing was really uniquely genius and the delivery was biblical
Really cool to hear him speaking his mind like this. Oddly satisfying.

Came here after the news of his passing…Rest in peace Gilbert…iconic voice
This is crazy, Gilbert being himself. Gilbert on Howard, would go off the chain and couldn't be contained. The best of Howard was Gilbert doing his impressions for beattle juice.
My favorite is "Dice Gottfried"
For me the funniest thing ever was Gilbert on Howard dressed as Dracula and going out on the street to interview random people doing an over the top Bela Lugosi impression .
@@kevinb7126 THIS!! Or when they’d go to the news and Gilbert would shut the show down with the Jewish Dracula impressions. He slayed them all, Robin couldn’t even read two words and Gilbert would have Stern losing his mind!!! Gold!
Still doing the voice, though.
@@PogeyMane have you heard the clip of him doing Dice while Sam Kinison was on the show? Hardest I ever laughed at the Howard Stern show.
Gilbert is the funniest comedian I ever saw in my life. I saw him years ago at a comedy club in NYC and I laughed so hard I stopped breathing. Same thing when I watch his rants at those roasts, his George Takei roast is killer
Gilbert was a comedians comedian . His the stand up comedian that other comedians would go to watch to laugh . One of a kind truly
'Johnny Crunch' from 'The Adventures of Ford Fairlaine' always make me chuckle!

Problem, childhood movies? Eh?😜
This guy really ages well. Still looks like he did 25 years ago.
He youth-ed poorly.
Actually very true! Look at him on Beverly Hills cop! That was....almost 40 years ago!?!
he looked 52 when he was 25

Thank you Joe Rogan for having Gilbert Gottfried on.

Gilbert Gottfried is in character every time you see him, including here. True dedication.

Joe is so patient with him as he should. This is like an elder telling comedic history. 😆🥰his voice is so soft too!!
I didn’t know Gilbert too well as a comedian because I grew up in the 2000s. He played the robo bird in cyber chase and his character always made me laugh and put me in a good mood. Such a talent at making people happy. Rest In Peace G man.

Stern in the 90s was awesome. I’m not a fan anymore.
That era was great. Howard and other shock jocks could get away with saying all kinds of stuff, because the listeners were in on the humor. What a time to be alive and lived through that era
Honestly this whole conversation with Gilbert was amazing and hilarious to me, great episode, just heard it today
His roast of Roseanne is one of the greatest, funniest things I've ever seen.
The show with Ari, Mark and Shane was OG JRE vibes and I hope the friends come on more often…
