It's probably easier to sell chicken eggs to the neighbors than it is to sell roasted larva. Have you considered getting some chickens to feed your larva to and let a chicken run around the barn to clean them off the floor for you.
Might want to use a little food grade grease on both ends of the auger. Just a thin film will do. Its just silicon grease. Amazon is the place for it. Water resistant and doesn't wash off easily. It'll help with the wear you're getting at the plate. Avoid getting it in your eyes though. Remember water resistant. Won't hurt you but you'll have blurry vision for a while. :)
hahaha yeah. I've used the stuff forever. It's also a dielectric and awesome for protecting electrical connections from corrosion, lubricant/sealer for o-rings. Got tubes of the stuff laying around everywhere. Clean your hands before you get an eye itch. lol
What are your thoughts on controlling & preventing micro-contaminates compromising the quality or safety of the product? Not concerned with heavy metal concentrations? I can not make the math work. Thank you. Stay safe.
@@johnberry1107 I’m not really sure where specifically you’re concerned with contaminants. The incoming feedstock? The processing? What end product are you referring to?
Spending Thanksgiving Day binge watching growing bugs and enjoying every minute! Keep up the good work. I love your tag line. "Keep it Circular."
Very good
Looks just like the one I got. I used my generator until I wired up the barn
@@johnosborne5018 it’s a solid unit, despite the questionable wiring

Do you have a link for this grinder? Do you think it would grind avocado pits?
@@TylerPerry-d3w yes to avocado pits. I don’t have the specific link
