ABOUT MIST SURVIVAL:
Players will be immune from the virus outbreak and must survive the situation by hoarding food, finding shelter and protecting yourself from wildlife, bandits, and infected. Players can also help other survivors and get the survivors to join your camp.
Players will experience dense mist that can happen at any time. The dense mist environment is accompanied by certain events, such as the infected people come around to find preys.
People who are infected and mutated will be able to come out outdoors at night or when there is no sunshine that means they can also hunt players while the fog is covered.

We really shouldn't accept these kinds of bugs and still promote a game... This has been out for so long, and the lonely dev clearly stopped making progress ages ago - that's why Fooster needs to use the console to make content... Really, I don't like promoting unfinished failed products.
@@Sjel Come on blud. You said it, a single dev. Give him some props. Where AAA games are cash grab piles of garbage, Mist is definitely an amazing game in the making. Games are not made for content, they are made to be games.
@@Sjel The game is not abandoned and the developer is literally still pushing updates to this day so your whole argument is invalid. It's not an easy task to build a game from the ground up even for AAA devs, let alone for solo indie developers like the one who makes Mist so if you're this desperate to be an asshole, reserve it for the big studios with huge resources that can't even release their games in a better state than this one. Then again, an asshole lives to be an asshole so I'm already asking waaay to much from someone like you.

I'm not saying indie devs can't make games, I'm saying they should stop releasing PRE alpha versions as a product. Many of them never leave the pre alpha phase and the devs run out of money, skill and ideas. This game is a great example of that. Asset flips with broken physics, no thanks.

This its so cool to see how much this game has evolved and grown, im saving up to get a new pc specifically to play it
Just have to say a big thanks for having the game loud, I know some or maybe most won't agree idk. But I really hate it (especially in game were there's lots of characters talking) when the game is super low in volume but the gamer is much louder. I I'm turning it up to hear characters talk, cause being dyslexic even though they usually put the subtitles on I can't read fast enough, plus it can also be super tiny. So to really understand what's going on and get involved in the story I need to hear it. But then the gamer talks and it's like a jump scare 😱 😂. So I normally just try to find a middle ground and try my best to read what I can. Plus you can miss subtle noises especially in horror games that can mean loads.

I absolutely hate when audio is super unbalanced. I try and lower it slightly so it’s not overpowering as the ambience in most games is actually very loud to immerse the player but I will raise dialogue or important parts. Thanks for watching tymothy!

I'm looking forward to the day Mist has coop, so Fooster has not only to deal with the creatures of the Mist, but also Fisk as well.
I'm loving the small little things, it's been a while since I have played any games.
It would be rad to have something like an eclipse that can randomly occur during mist encounters.
Or an eclipse that occurs during the day causing all the creepy crawlers to come out in a horde.
The bear had Plot armor like the Anime Main character

This entire video I was saying to myself this reminds me so much of Days Gone, so much of it did, and then at the end you said it. Days Gone is arguably my favourite game ever made, so that makes me really enjoy the idea of this, much more than the first Mist content of yours I saw. Keep it up!

I've lived on the road full-time for almost three years. I can say, for sure, the trailer is 100% supposed to shoot into the sky like that and be stiff as a board, lol.
All jokes aside, our fridge can run on electricity or propane. It would be cool to see Mist allow you to use the propane take to store food in an RV fridge.

Just throwing ideas around:
- I'd love to see optional mic enabled gameplay feature in singleplayer survival game. When enabled all "interact" with other humans etc is not possible with button, instead you have to talk to the mic something like "hey" etc to be able to talk to them. And many parts of the game has different situations where yelling etc is needed like asking "is someone there?" etc and monsters ofc react too. We have the technology and none is utilizing it is pretty weird. Specially in VR games that already try to be immersive and rely alot on mic in many games.
- I'd like to see survival game that is not 1 big map, instead it's a game where you drive around (maybe mad max style) and build better vehicle from parts + need to manage car, gas, yourself and maybe companions like a dog or humans. The game would build new random seed areas after travelling far enough and enemies would be also mostly people on the cars (mad max style again). So you could give the steering for companion and fight of the enemies by climbing around your vehicle and even jumping to enemy vehicle. After winning you could salvage them etc and there would be permadeath but it happens only when you run out of needed water/food/sleep or get injured too badly so even when the "bandits" win and salvage your vehicle, they don't just kill you and your companion, they take you to their base or mobile fortress and you can try again by escaping and can chose if you wanna try free your companions too which most likely will lead to you dying and have to start again. Game does not have save button, instead it saves when you quit the game like Dark Souls games. Again we have the technology and I am pretty sure fans of survival games would like that. It could even be in space, on ships, in the sky on blimps/planes/flying fortresses, it could be magic or mad max style, steampunk fantasy or pretty much whatever you want.
Point is that it's basically: Always on the move, build your mobile base, have companions handle different things and generate new "maps" as you move on. There prolly should be also reason why you need to be on the move all the time like all the time moving sandstorm that destroys everything, being chased by enemy faction/police in the space that will eventually catch you if you stay too long in same place and so on.
I honestly would make game like that if I could. As a 2D/3D-artist it's hard to get into coding (even tho I am learning more every day) but still starting the game and being able to make it is hard with ADHD brain that one day want to code and next day want to make cosplay outfit or model new phone case for 3D-printing
