Players will experience the Apocalypse simulation in the form of virus pandemic. You will have to deal with it to survive through the difficulties such as finding shelter and food, threats from the environment, climate and not to mention wild animals!

Sorry for the short break in videos. In short I had a lot to get done medically and I couldn't put if off anymore so I took 3 days away to sort it all out :)
Welcome back to Mist! I cover some important stuff on the intro for people that have been asking where the series is and others too... I plan to explore the world as much as possible and just have fun with everything so if you are excited that Mist is back then I would love it if you guys could drop a like on the video :D (there will also be a few other things a long side this series just to mix things up a little)
*Also guys quick side note* This episode was recorded pretty much after the update dropped and I was still on the (BETA) Branch. It has now been pushed to the stable build of the game which is great so you might notice some slight changes to the world in the next episode! Just in case it looks a little different...

I noticed you can't loot the glove compartment in cars without getting into the driver's seat.
It's not just for this series, in the forest series atleast he muffled voices underwater, had the echo in other places, he's a great youtuber with great quality videos.
Wild boars being a “big problem” is a tremendous understatement, and they are constantly growing their territory and can live in a lot of different climates. I know in the US they are literally starting to be seen in the most northern states and they are already everywhere in the south.

In northern Georgia (US state), we have a breed of bore that's called razorbacks.. they are detrimental to crops and surrounding vegetation. They are extremely over populated and are hurting other natural wildlife. People are allowed to hunt them year around and usually wildlife rangers will hunt them as well. The meat is usually used for local food pantries and the ones killed by regular hunters or farmers are eaten as well.

@MrPapakuka the younger ones are pretty tasty, but I don't think adults are eaten much. At least the ones in Texas aren't, but I don't know if they're the same thing as the Razorback. The ones in Texas are Eurasia wild boars that were brought over by Christopher Columbus and other explorers. I'm assuming they're the same, but maybe not.
10:04 Well, if I was trapped in a burning car and I'd see some guy nearby spend 20 minutes to craft a spear before coming to help me out I might be a little cranky! 😂 Anyway, I'm so glad to see Mist again, I had truoble controlling myself and not watching the entire 2020 playlist in one sitting. I was kinda expecting this to continue from the original, you so much cool stuff going on, that fortress you built, the people you had with you and all..

I've been waiting for this for a while. The last series of Mist on the channel was, for me, unmissable. I loved the tension in every episode and I have a feeling this is going to be even more intense.
This one will be a lot more relaxed as I fully expect things to be a little more buggy but hopefully you will still enjoy it

I bought this game when it was on sale in 2019, it always struck me as being a neat little love of labour. Seeing it now, it's come a long, long way, I'm definitely going to be killing hours on it again.

Definitely not too far fetched about the wild pigs and boars, we have huge families of them here in California and through out the US and they are usually hunted as pests. They kill crops, dig up people's yards for grubs and are extremely dangerous. I've been charged by them many times on hikes! Looking forward to this series!
Yeah, in Poland we have city by the sea, where you can't go alone at night, because there is high probability that you will meet momma pig with piglets - and when they have kids, they are crazy killing machines. Can't outrun them, can't fight them (unless you have firearm that is impossible to legally get in this country, and if you will shoot that pig without license, you will have problems anyway), sometimes can't even hide yourself because it will camp for a long long time or will go throught doors like tank lmao

Worked at a golf course in Florida and one morning while I was setting up one of the three 9 hole courses I came upon a hole where two tee off areas were completely obliterated by local boars rooting for food. Had to re level and sod the whole area.
I cant tell you how stoked I am to see this serues resumed. I thoroughly enjoyed your previous 19 videos on Mist.

This was so good, I really need to see more of this. I own this game because you make everything look so fun, unfortunately I don't get a lot of game time since I had to move back home, my mom is going threw cancer again for the 4th time.. you have helped me get threw some of the worst day Fooster, I just lost my cousin as well. Life hasn't been easy but I make it threw to the next day and I am so greatful for the amazing videos and content. Definitely one of my favorite RUclips content creators hands down thank you.

I totally forgot about this game, it’s looking a lot better than I remember when I watched videos a few years ago. I remember how the zombie creatures would smoke when the sun hit them which was pretty cool. Finally bought a pc with a high end graphics card capable of playing all these games I’ve watched and wanted to play for freaking years and literally haven’t bought any damn games yet and have forgotten basically all of the games I was dying to play over the last 3 or 4 years. Ugh!

Oh yeah they can be a big problem. Where I live there are plenty of wild hogs/boars and they cause massive damage.
Just this year alone I've had to replace the wall on one of my sheds about 3 times, Had my garden area trampled multiple times (And over half of it eaten so far), and have had to bury 2 of my outdoor cats.
They are very very hostile and territorial, It's basically just a mix of bears with their size and wolves with their pack mentality
If you live in Texas you can freely hunt them to your hearts content I'm pretty sure.

My goodness I’ve missed this series, I stopped playing mist cause my heart can’t handle the scares anymore but I love your videos. My cousins and I would throw your videos onto the TV and watch the season over in one go
As someone who suffered an excruciatingly painful infection in my leg from a single insect bite, and required two weeks of intense antibiotics, an infection would absolutely be the worst thing.

Hey @Fooster, glad to see you back with Mist. There have been a lot of new POIs been added to the game and also new enemies. You can also use the gas mask as you by default have it. Try T to access it, you have only 1 filter with you tho. Try collecting more from nearby stores.

Foster if you want to have a base, (occupy a building) don't forget to add fences to the windows, as the zombies can't break the fence, though they'll break the wood pieces which we staple at the window..... it'll be an absolute zombie proof base..... have tried it personally, IT WORKS GREAT.....

In this version, judging by the map, no wolves. They are in version 0.5.1, the map in it is much larger.

15:20 lots of people also don’t know that wild pigs and boars are THE most dangerous thing to run into. A bear will more likely run from you if you make a lot of noise but a boar will absolutely gore you to death if you encounter one and they get extremely pissed if you manage to wound one, either you die or they die as far as they’re concerned

time 30:25 general store is also a good place to build. It is a blank slate and you left a lot of stuff there in town. There is everything you need in town to get the red truck running except one wheel in my game. Press T to bring down your gas mask and get an engine from the junk yard with the green gas in it. be careful there are bandit patrols in the town from time to time, but that just makes it more fun.
