ABOUT THE GAME:
Players will experience the Apocalypse simulation in the form of virus pandemic. You will have to deal with it to survive through the difficulties such as finding shelter and food, threats from the environment, climate and not to mention wild animals!
when Rati, the Dev, switched to this new game format from 0.4 to the current 0.5, he had clues and stuff in the visors of some cars. that has since been replaced by the wallets you find now with codes in them. the clicking noise is the teeth of the zombies clicking together- there are 2 types- the regular zombies that come out in the mist and the teeth clicking zombies that show up after dark. also, if you didnt know, zombies that are standing stationary or are walking away from you- with a knife in your inventory, you can sneak/walk up behind them and do a head stab/execute with the knife using the "F" key. you can equip green bottles in a weapon slot. throw them against buildings or other solid objects to create a distracting sound to lure bandits, so that you can do a sneak/execute or get a better quiet shot with your bow. be sure to feed the dog meat- you can check his status under the pet button in the inventory menu. also, be careful about going out and looting in the rain. the wetness will degrade the durabilty of all the dry goods/loot and your clothing- even while wearing the raincoat or in your backpack.

29:25 very accurate. A lot of German Shepherds have that condition due to the Kennel Club's idea of a perfect dog. The back should be sloped down towards the hips so a lot of them are borderline crippled. Whatever you do don't buy a German Shepherd with a kennel club pedigree, it's because of them that alot of different breeds now have serious issues.
a lot of breed standards are like that :( i will note that not all kennel club certified dogs will have these problems. it's mostly just show line. a working line dog won't necessarily be bred to show/breed standard like that

So true. I got a half German Shepherd and half Belgian Malinois, and she has been beyond the most amazing dog. So far no signs of any joint issues and does not have the sloping back end.
I have a friend that takes care of abandoned dogs and 2 of their Sheps have DM. I would love to adopt one in the future though. Just need to do more research into the breed

Awesome, you got Leo. I’m not sure if this 3 tips would be spoil but now that you have Leo you need to either built him a dog house or find one for him. Always have apple’s either in you inventory or your lockers and last save the explosive arrows they will come in handle later on. And again I hope this tips aren’t consider to much of spoilers
Fooster this isnt a spoiler but a necessary tip. Open your tab and you will see Pet, click on that and you can see Leo's hunger status. Allot of others have lost him because they didnt keep him fed.

Leo's stats are in your inventory under "pet" you can change his name as well by making dog tags 👍🏻

I just wanted to say that I haven't been into gaming (or gameplay videos) for around 5 years now. A video of yours popped up in my recommended and I gave it a shot. I am absolutely addicted to these vids again 😅 thank you for these regular uploads, especially on Mist Survival!
Can I just say how cool it is that you actually went back and found the wheel that we all pointed out you missed. I don't know but for me that was actually so cool to see. And I love that you missed it it made the experience more real.
Items I keep for traders: cigarettes, bats modified with scissors, excess bandages, excess full water bottles, excess leather, seeker claws, less than 100% clothing from bandits. I have one locker on my truck with trade items and put some of them in my inventory when I get to a crash. I always trade for batteries and fishing items because I don't often find them in the world and they wear out fast. Sometimes an apple for my traps. And always for a filter if they have any.
14:07 Remember Fooster! When you missed the tier in the video. That was the time you wanted to test if things would decay/disappear given enough time. You left some components and scrap in the trunk of that black car. Are they still there?
I have noticed a few of the cars where I left things have disappeared but it might be down to the recent update/patches
This made me tear up a little lol I can just imagine being in a apocalyptic world where it’s just you alone for years then you find a dog who can keep you company and build moral. This was a great episode.

Brilliant as ever! There's an engine in the junk yard right by the grey truck 👍🏻 I've only ever found one thing in the sun visors, you'll see the item before you even open them as it shows through. Also I'd move your drying hide indoors (can't think of the name) as zombies CAN destroy it. They did it to me

Passion...thats the best way to describe your gaming psyche. Honestly Fooster, the one thing i take away from your uploads is a love for gaming and the worlds they create. Its pretty simple. but so huge in being able to escape our everyday scripted lives!
13:53... so glad he went back and got that arrow off the wall. Last video when you killed the creatures and picked up the other arrows, I kept looking at it like "YOU MISSED ONE!" There are two other engines that you can get, both in bandit camps, one on a church, one near the hunting area. You also have a chance of getting engines by destroying vehicles.
And to install the turret on the SUV, you have to build the garage, which takes a lot of cement bags and concrete blocks. Start taking notes on where you see them, so you can go back and get it.
pretty sure the guy you shot in the tower dropped his rifle over the edge. It was at the bottom of the tower below him.
Don’t think that’s how a mirror works, but a good game to watch a walk through/ RP. Great work as always

if you open your inventory the icons on the left pets is at the bottom where you can see how much food leo has and give him dog gear when you find it

Imagine, Mist Devs gives us the option to use minimal gun powder in shells and use them to shoot arrows! that would be epic. Never seen any other survival games do that.

A small tip I've discovered is when you're passing camps with an RV check the tops of them
I got Mist to start playing on my channel and in my first try at it (Not on camera) I realized how stressful it is everywhere I went there were wolves or bears and I got slapped by a bear which crashed my game which was really funny to be honest but man when they add multiplayer It will be so much fun!!! If you have friends that play the game :D Love the content Fooster keep it up :)

For the .50 cal gun car you need the garage and some workbenches + allot of gears and other parts
Everytime Fooster gasps, my lifespan increases by at least 10 minutes
breaking down vehicles can provide engines. If you turn the lockers so they face the outside of the truck you can fit 6 lockers in the back of the truck. Rachael will give you a compound bow...
@Fooster. I’m not sure if you seen it yet but in your inventory, if you go to the GEAR tab, you can turn your character around like the bad guys. This is where you access you fishing bucket and maybe other things

I've never heard of this game and stumbled upon ur channel.. definitely had some giggles watching. 👍🏾
What I think happened was that the sniper was the one who killed the survivors who previously defended that area or he was just a lone survivor after a horde took out his allies.
As someone who has 2 german shepherds, they are wonderful dogs. However, they require monstrous amounts of training to keep them entertained and happy. Once they are trained in leash handling, what toys they can chew, what items to not chew, and some tricks, they are wonderful. They also need a "job" to keep them occupied. Mine are to guard the house in a certain manner and guard our children. I love them, but they are lots of work in the beginning, without the work upfront they can be destructive at best and a nightmare at the worst from what I've heard. And they do pick people as favorites, our girl loves me and my son to death, where the boy loves my wife.

You can rename the dog if you want to by crafting dog tags. And you can track his health in the inventory menu under Pet...something I discovered too late, lol.

You should definitely get a German Shepherd if you can. I had a rescue girl from Dog's Trust and she was the sweetest dog. They are lovely, clever dogs and she was a complete daddy's girl with my fiancé 😊
