The production on this is so great and refreshing. Every release from these guys has always been better than the last. This is what we call growing without changing their sound. Keep at it.
Actually their sound has changed a TON! They started acoustic and then moved into Alternative/Pop. Since joining EVR they've become a lot heavier. It's all great in my opinion though.
Scott Murray Their first album, We Speak, had hardly any post-hardcore influence in it at all. Although before signing EVR, they had already written the majority of Karma Never Sleeps so they had already started that transition to a heavier sound. Then once Satori hit we all got smacked in the face with Speak to Me awesomesauce.
This is just another step up for this band, I didn't think they could get this much better already. This is basically the sound they created on Satori perfected.
Something about the way he writes his songs is so different and refreshing. He can have so many different dynamics in a short period of time, like in the opening and at 1:05-1:30, it's really amazing. I love the composition of all their tracks and look forward to the next ones
I saw you guys open for the Coheed and Cambria show back in October here in Wisconsin and I've fallen in love with the band ever since. Hoping to see you again in a few weeks!

One of the bay area's best bands. Also Brent is such a gifted songwriter. They all definately know what's up!! And to top it off, they are also A's fans, the best team in the bay!!!

I really can't tell you how consistently good this band's music is... I can probably count the number of bands with such prolonged quality on one hand. I don't think there's a song of theirs I don't like, and that's quite an achievement. Even the less good songs are fucking good.
